So happy I found this coffee shop! I was in the area and wanted some coffee, so I looked up some places nearby. I picked this one because the drinks looked good. I ordered the Pecan Horchata Latte and requested for less sweet. The only thing I regret was not getting a bigger size. The drink was delicious - great coffee and great flavor. There was only one person (that I saw) making the drinks in the front, and there was someone in the back making the food. Several people trickled in after me. Regardless, the wait wasn't long and my drink came out in less than 10 minutes. read more

I absolutely love the Biscoff coffee here--it's my favorite! Every cup is so delicious, and it's the drink I always look forward to. I also love supporting this wonderful family-owned coffee shop. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel the care they put into the business. I love this coffee shop! It is a sweet, family-owned business. They seem to have a lot of regulars and a steady stream of customers. I love the peanut butter latte and the guava iced coffee! I'm a first timer here. It's not far from home. It's at a perfect location. I love the ambience. Easy to find parking. Good variety of sandwiches, Panini, and breakfast burrito at an affordable price. I got the Fort Funston sandwich, and it was delicious, clean, simple, basic sandwich. It was a 10/10 for me. Stopped by today and grabbed a horchata iced coffee latte, the DC Pastrami Melt, and a Turkey Avocado Panini. The horchata iced coffee latte was really good! The DC Pastrami Melt had a nice cheese pull and was solid. Next time I will get the pastrami in a panini bread instead. The Turkey Avocado Panini had a nice toast to the bread, good amount of turkey and avocado. They both had signature aioli in them, but I couldn't taste them as much as I would have liked to. Sandwich's are bomb! Nothing like a sandwich, chips, a drink and vibes! The service is amazing, very attentive and courteous home vibe. Will definitely be coming here with my husband on our weekly lunch runs. The food is genuinely very good--compliments to the chef. Unfortunately, I've had my order provided incorrectly on three separate occasions. What's confusing is that it shows up correctly on the screen. I usually order breakfast or lunch to go and am often on a tight schedule, so it's frustrating to open my bag and realize the order is wrong and I don't have time to go back and get it fixed. Came here to get a drink and snack while I waited for my car maintenance. I ordered the DC Farm Sandwich and it is so good! Freshly made and neatly assembled. How often do we get sandwiches that seems thrown haphazardly? Well I was pleasantly surprised to find a this sandwich here that is both structurally sound and made with high quality ingredients. I also ordered the matcha latte with pistachio cream. Also excellent and delicious. The prices are also a very good value for the quality. The lady at the checkout was also nice. I've been coming to this specific Cafe/Deli now for over 10 years. First when it was Sam's, then when it was Drip and Melt, and now La Cafeteria. I've been coming to La Cafeteria since they opened now consistently at least a couple times a week and it too is also great. I usually order a breakfast burrito which is delicious and hefty but I've also had the Pastrami melt which was also delicious. Staff is friendly, parking is generally pretty easy to find and you can even phone in pick up orders or even more conveniently order delivery/pickup through Uber Eats and the Local by Toast app so you don't have to wait. Although I've never sat and ate inside, the ambiance is clean and welcoming every time I stop by to pick up my order. Thank you La Cafeteria! read more

Used to come here all the time only for the melts but since they reopened as La Cafeteria, the drinks/lattes have been AMAZING! Would be a 5 star review if their operating hours were consistent and accurate. Their website states they are only closed on Wednesdays and Google says closed on Thursdays but i have pulled up on a Monday, Wednesday& Thursday and they were closed. Not sure what their true hours are. read more
