Papusas here are amazing! Third time coming back just for them. Everyone is so nice and attentive. The food tastes great and looks amazing!

The best Salvadorian food! This place is rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. From freshly made pupusas filled with cheese, beans, or pork to warm curtido and perfectly seasoned meats, every dish feels like homemade comfort.

The food is good, with friendly and accurate service. Taking into account the preparation time for pupusas, speed is secondary. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere accommodates about 40 diners.

This is my favorite and I mean favorite Salvi spot in all of Ventura county. I will drive from Oxnard just to eat here. This is the closest you can get to authentic Salvi food. Next closest is the valley. The location is small, but it's never crowded. Food does take some time to make because it's all fresh. The casamiento & horchata are my go to. They even have quesadillas and other Salvi pastries/goodies. I really recommend this location and it's a huge staple in the community.

This restaurant is a true gem for authentic Salvadoran food. Everything tasted homemade and full of traditional flavor. The pupusas were especially good--fresh, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. The plantains were also excellent, sweet and perfectly caramelized, and paired really well with the rest of the meal. You can tell a lot of pride goes into the food here. If you're looking for real Salvadoran cuisine that feels genuine and comforting, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Meh, I had higher expectations for this place. As you walk in the decor makes you feel that it's very authentic and cozy however the food was just ok. Nothing special. It didn't taste bad but I've had better. Prices are too expensive for the slow service and time it takes for them to bring out your food. They don't even offer a cup of water. My pupusa was more like an arepa. Where was the grease and cheese??

Food is amazing. But wait times are long. If you order take out expect 30-45 min for food to be ready

Food comes out quickly, which makes the whole experience even better. There isn't a single thing I've ordered here that I didn't love. My husband and I always go for the steak pupusa, a revuelta pupusa, and a chicharrón con queso pupusa. If you're looking for melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful pupusas, this is your spot. They also offer deals on certain days, which is a nice bonus. Allison and Maritza provide exceptional service and truly make you feel taken care of. They give prima vibes and I'm here for it! The ambiance feels like you're at your tía's house, music playing, lively energy, and just the perfect vibe for enjoying amazing food. They've got soccer on one TV and something else on another.

Restaurant does have at least 1 reserved parking spot. Ordered 18 pupusas for a party, total with taxes was 88$ . So about 5$ per pupusa with tax on average. Taste was authentic, order was ready on time and service was excellent and personal! Restaurant is cozy but spacious, great decorations and setup. This gives the location a warm , welcoming and authentic ambiance. Overall I like this pupuseria as the transaction and pick up was seemless and efficient compared to other locations.

Traditional Salvadorean Cuisine in the SFV!…read more Our first time trying Salvadorean food at this family owned restaurant in Reseda. Carlos gave us some great recommendations so we ended up trying pupusas for the first time. It's made with a homemade corn dough. It's thicker than a regular corn tortilla and stuffed with ground pork and cheese. They have a variety of fillings. You can add salsa roja, a flavorful tomato-based sauce or habanero sauce. Served with Curtido, a tangy, fermented cabbage slaw. So crispy, cheesy and filling. It came burning hot - I could barely hold it. But, I would definitely order this again! We tried Desayuno Típico, a traditional Salvadoran breakfast, which came with casamiento (beans and rice mixed together), Salvadorean style chorizo, fried plantains, 2 eggs, avocado, fresh cheese and Salvadorean style sour cream and homemade corn tortillas.
