shredded beef chimichanga with rice and beans and a margarita
Cassie D.

It's been a while since we've been here and happy to see its still there! They have a large, beautiful outside patio, which would be amazing when the weather in Arizona is gorgeous, but not so much right now at 115°. The chips and salsa are always a must and if you like the hotter salsa, they got it! Our food came out pretty fast and was piping hot and yummy! There was so much food (maybe we over did it on the chips & salsa) and ended up taking 1/2 of it home and had it for dinner the next night. Great atmosphere and friendly service!

First time visiting La Casa Blanca and we will definitely be back. Love the ambiance, especially during the holidays. Food was delicious (forgot to take pics). Ask for the hot salsa! Service was excellent.

Frozen lime margarita

La Casa Blanca is a restaurant in Chandler with amazing ambience! Front interior to exterior, very nice! Service was pretty solid for my table, the waitress was nice, but for a family behind us, they weren't visited for around 15 or so minutes after sitting down, and it wasn't busy. Now for the food, I got a shredded chicken chimichanga (beans no rice) and a frozen lime margarita. The chimi (while it had a good texture) was quite devoid of flavor, even pouring salsa on it didn't seem to help as their salsa doesn't have too much flavor either. Not to mention, while cutting it, the chicken juice was pouring out and pooling on the plate. This is a ball of disappointment since the chimi was a whopping $18. It really needs a sauce on top similar to an enchilada. The margarita wasn't bad, but on a few sips, it tasted like medicine which I wasn't fond of. Overall, La Casa Blanca has some things they need to improve on. 2 stars is for the lack of flavor in the chimi and medicine taste in the marg.

I tried La Casa Blanca for the first time ever with my Dad-- and it blew us away!! The atmosphere is gorgeous! The restaurant is a historic white building that looks a bit like a house (La Casa Blanca means the White House in English). The service was also great, our server (Gabby W.) did a great job. We started with the Mini Chimis and did 3 chicken and 3 beef. Truly some of the best chimichangas I've had. Crispy, filled with juicy meat, and served with a delicious sauce (a buttery, cheesy and slightly spicy sauce). Our entrees were also phenomenal (I got Tamales, my Dad got a Taco dish). Delicious food. Truly some of the best Mexican I've had in the past few years. I'll be back FOR SURE!

Spinach Enchiladas

It's been several years that we have eaten here. Nice bar inside, offers indoor and outdoor seats. Hostess and waitress were friendly. They offer chips and salsa but apparently forgot about us :-) which was fine. I had the spinach enchiladas which were okay. My friend had a beef tostada, cheese enchilada with rice and beans. He was satisfied with his meal, said the enchilada sauce was tasty. We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too busy but service was fast. We would recommend if you are in the area...maybe even have a drink or two :-)

Chimichanga

Chimichanga anyone? Arizona is known for their chimichangas which just so happen to be Jake's favorite burrito !! This was an amazing authentic experience! Who doesn't love deep fried food!?? The service is always so kind and the ambiance is so sweet we love eating there!

The patio area is at the front, as you enter

Service was good but the food was flavorless! Four of us dined there and no one was very complementary of their food.

Service was great but food and drinks were just average. Ambience felt like an old diner and not a Mexican restaurant.

Delicious food and very good service. A wonderful family dining option that isn't a chain restaurant.

I'm not an avocado toast type person, but as a (temporary) non-dairy consumer, I thought it sounded…read morelike it would be worth a try. Boy was I right! If all avocado toasts were like this, I don't know why anyone would choose something else! The sourdough bread was lightly toasted but not so stiff that it scraped up my mouth. The flavors of the toppings gave it a hearty, yet sweet decadence and the aioli really sealed the deal! My server checked on me plenty but not more than was comfortable and the place itself was small, but it wasn't overwhelming in any way. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items! (There were about ten small tables under the "Brunchin" wall, just didn't want to share all of the people that were filling them)

I really wanted to like this place more. Seen it on social and Google and I wanted to try it out…read more It was okay. It's smaller than I thought they have about 15 tables. Tried the strawberry colada mimosa as it was the special of the month. I only tasted champagne with hint if strawberry no coconut. Name felt slightly misleading. Food: I got the banana foster French toast - this was really good not to sweet, nice crunchy ends with soft middle. Per usual no combo for French toast so a side of bacon was $4 and so are potatoes. They do offer a platter for $7 but it includes eggs which i did not want. We ordered side of chicken it needed seasoning bad. Service was okay I feel our waitress tried to connect with us but she was a little awkward. Slightly overpriced for food that is pretty simple in my opinion.

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.

They have a larger patio space outdoors, which I asked and discovered they are dog friendly so happy to find another venue we can bring the girls to. The patio was still shaded when we left about noon so it's a good spot for pups. Two of our group was already seated when we arrived so we joined them upon arrival. Lisa, our server, immediately came over for drink orders and confirm we were still waiting for others to join. Lisa, was so patient and friendly while the group gathered and decided what to order. I asked for a glass of O.J. which was sans pulp for those who don't like it in their O.J. I prefer some to jazz it up but it was a good glass of juice. They have a good sized menu with both breakfast and lunch offerings, and it took a bit to decide on what we were eating. I decided on the Corned Beef Hash with two eggs over-medium and a pancake. I asked for it on a separate plate and she said no worries, that's how it is served. The hash was sooo good! Cooked to a crispy crust and so flavorful and not salty at all, which I loved because sometimes hash can be salty. It also came with hash browns, which were cooked perfectly and not greasy in the least. I asked for my eggs over-medium and they too were cooked to perfection. It came with one pancake (I chose this in place of toast) and it was good size cake, with a nice malty flavor. It's sprinkled lightly with powder sugar and a dispense of warm syrup was provided as well. Really good breakfast! Wife went with the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. They serve a wonderful homemade blackberry jam with the toast, which was really good and jammy. She also had her eggs done the same way as me and they were cooked to perfection. The bacon was perfect and she commented about the hash browns being cooked to a crunchy outer and tender on the inside. Everyone else said their meals were just as good and everything looked delicious. Great breakfast find and we will be back! Thank you to all of the staff and cooks!

Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews. What we experienced is accurately and honestly captured in this review. There were no misunderstandings, our experience is captured exactly as reviewed.
