The Chicken Burrito was filled with Rotisserie Chicken that may have been from Costco, it was just chunks of dark meat with zero flavor and the tortilla shell was horrible. Solid place for Mexican food. Had the cocido de Res (beef veggie soup) that was really delicious. Rice tasted very homemade. Service was good order at the cashier and they tell you when it's ready. Ambiance is nice as can be in a strip mall. Salsa bar was good. Good selection of beverages. Pass on the margaritas they're pre-made. Burritos are delicious and stuffed. Was in that area today to stop by and visit with a friend. I've been to this restaurant before and didn't yelp it previously. Today was pretty good. Definitely not my favorite Mexican food in the valley but it's solid with quality and consistent from last visit months ago. Pros: - really friendly staff - very clean interior - tasty salsas - fast service - tortilla tasted really good. I ordered the loaded burrito- Choice of Meat rolled up with rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo salsa in a warm flour tortilla. Cons: - chips were crazy salty. Food is excellent! Their meat tastes like it's been marinated for a while and is full of flavor. Very juicy and not dry or chewy. I've tasted all the meats. I got enchiladas with different kind of meats in each. The only issue I have was that their horchata was unfortunately not fresh and made from a packet but the tasty food makes up for it so I'm not that mad. They have a salsa bar and they have a good selection but it wasn't fully stocked and truthfully we were there pretty late so I understand it's not going to be restocked since they are closing. The girl that served us was very sweet and patient with us since we were incredibly indecisive and had way too many questions. She even walked our order to us! Ok, so my wife and came in here for our Sunday Night Date Night. They were a little slow but there was a haboob going on, so it's understandable. This place is entirely clean, I have been to other similar establishments and they have definitely set them selves above the rest! My wife ordered the Rolled Taco Plate and she loved it. I ordered the Green Chili Plate, it came out as Red Chili but it was still really good. My wife and I both enjoyed the rice and beans that came with our meal. I did a build your own combo with a cheese and beef enchiladas and a shredded beef taco. Although, the enchiladas are on the smaller side, they make up in flavor. They had a salsa bar where you can get your own salsa and some toppings. I got the carne asada burrito. Tortilla was nicely toasted. The carne was a little dry without sauce but not bad. Wow! This was a great find for lunch today! Great-tasting food, friendly service, and a well-decorated restaurant in Chandler. The tacos my husband ordered were so delicious. The flour tortillas were unique and light. I'm going to order tacos next time for sure. My cheese and chicken enchiladas were very good. The chicken was moist and fresh, and I enjoyed the red sauce (I got half and half, red and green). The green sauce was a bit hotter, but manageable. I preferred the red sauce personally, but they were both very good. They also have very affordable popsicles for $1.25 each! Delicious, and a decent amount for the price. We both got Cookies n' Cream flavor (to-go) for the drive home, and we're not disappointed The shop is also beautifully decorated with lots of booth seating for a somewhat small space. It feels spacious for the size of the restaurant, and they have multiple TV monitors to enjoy a sports game. We'll definitely be back again. I can't wait to bring my cokworkers here in the future. I ordered the pick 3 plate. I went with two shredded beef tacos and a cheese enchilada. The taco shells were like something you would buy from the grocery store. The shredded beef they were filled with had a weird pungent taste. It tasted like it was cooked then cooked again a few times. I say pungent because it had a strange tang to it. Needless to say I did not eat both tacos. The cheese enchilada was stuck to the bottom of the styrofoam container which is always great, not! This is only getting two stars instead of one because the bean and cheese burrito was good. With their being another Mexican restaurant literally across the street and more each block from there. The hubs polished off the steak enchiladas, my teen son really grubbed on the steak burrito bowl and my grilled chicken burrito had some great grilled flavor. I've been meaning to stop here after reading about it. This place has ample seating, it's clean and has an extensive menu. It was taco Tuesday and they have 3 choices for $1.75, fish, pastor and grilled chicken. I picked chicken and carne asada (at regular price) with rice and beans. My husband choose chicken and al pastor. All were very flavorful and there was a great fresh salsa bar. My kid loved the open faced cheese crisp and rice. We were very pleased with the food and service. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items.
