Pizza was pretty darn good, and I feel like I know a lot about pizza coming from Buffalo where the crust is thick, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Their special of the month was a large cup n' char pepperoni for only $14.99. I really liked that the crust was brushed with a garlicky butter, smelled and tasted great. The downside was the chicken "fingers." They were definitely more like a frozen breaded tender that you would by at Aldi. Did like that they served their fingers and fries with plenty of blue cheese/ranch, but again, they were definitely not true chicken fingers. Antipasto salad had plenty of protein and toppings. Would order this again. If staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North East, this is an easy spot to grab takeout from. They do have a few tables to eat at in the pizzeria. read more

Poor quality food but high quality prices. People waiting on the customers do a great job but people making the food don't care. I ordered a large calzone with extra pepperoni. When I got there 25 minutes later nobody could find my order. The cook never made it. So I had to wait for it to be made. When I got it there was no extra pepperoni, lite pepperoni at best, and a ton of sauce and dough. Worst calzone I ever had. And I paid $16 for it. I would never recommend this pizza place. read more

They're social media and Google presence is awful. Their hours are completely wrong even on Yelp. It's almost like the owner doesn't know they close early on him all the time. Love the product but something is going on with the staff where they either close early or just tell people they are. Disappointed in my town's business. read more

We get their pizza with meatballs and hot peppers. The sauce is one of the bests, if not the best in Erie. They always put a good amount of cheese and toppings, too, which keeps us coming back. We get their thinner crust - I can never remember which is which, traditional or fresh dough. The thicker one reminds me of bowling alley pizza crust. Not in a bad way, just how it is. Only improvement I have is maybe switch the pepperonis out for a bit more spicy/flavorful ones. Expect to wait until the max estimated time if not longer on Fridays. read more

When in town recently, I stopped by here to pick up a pizza for the family. Little Caesars was our destination, but it was closed for the day, so we wound up down the street at Lacasa. This little local joint was eclectic to say the least. There are interesting, comical hunting signs all over and knick-knacks of old. The guys working here were really friendly and the pizza was ready in minutes! It wasn't as cheap as Little Caesars, but it certainly tasted fresher and better! I'll probably return on another trip to town. read more

I was in town visiting my family. I called in to order some subs and a pizza. The boy that answered the phone had the customer service skills of sloth and the personality of a spoon. He gave me two dough options. I asked if the traditional was more like a "Brooklyn style" pizza like New York or if it was more thick like a deep dish Chicago style. His response "I've never been to Brooklyn or Chicago so I don't know." Then impatiently tried to get me off the phone before giving me my total. The food here is decent but if that boy would have been there when I picked my order up I would have spanked him with a ruler. Management. Don't let people that don't care about you're PIZZA business answer the phones and take orders. I can only imagine if I asked about Italian or French dressing. read more

We are locals. This is our "go to" pizza place. Our little town hosts many pizzerias. We joke that what North East needs is another pizza shop! They are all different, you really won't get a bad pizza in North East. We love LaCasa s!! We have two favorite pizzas. The BLT is crazy good and different. A bit on the lighter side, who knew you can put lettuce on a pizza??? Our other is more traditional cheese, pepperoni and banana peppers. We always go traditional crust and you can't leave without having at least an order of pepperoni balls to share! ( 1 or 2 per person is plenty). They also do a great "supreme" type pizza. PS, we do "take out" 99% of the time, even just to the park across the street, but you can eat in if you like. read more

The service was astounding, there was a young lady who took my order and serviced all mine, my Brothers, and my nieces needs! A worker like that doesn't come around often! I cannot tell how how disappointing this restaurant is. First of all, we ordered the food to go. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude. The pizza was absolutely disgusting. Just stopped there because I was on vacation in the area.The place looked really nice on the inside and seemed like a cool pizza joint with good quality food.I had ordered a cheese pizza and cheese fries.I didn't look at either until arriving home where I realized the cheese fries were some frozen fries with easy cheese and the pizza resembled a baked lunchable pizza. The crust was premade and Spongey and the cheese and sauce really left something to be desired.It has to be by far some of the worst pizza I've EVER had!!!Could I have stopped in at a bad time? Found this place on Yelp while road tripping back to Michigan. The owner was friendly and helpful. The food was really really good! And I am Italian, so when I say it is good, you can take that to the bank! Because we wanted to try a little bit of everything, we ordered the personal bacon double cheeseburger pizza, the small calzone and meatball sub. I loved them all! Recently had Spaghetti and meatball. If you like Angel hair pasta instead of traditional spaghetti and you like your Angel hair pasta cut into 2" pieces then this is the place for you. Meatball tasted it a lot of filler. Spaghetti sauce is ok. But I would rather have traditional pasta and not cut up as if I was a toddler eating a bowl of spaghetti. Also, since the place was sold there are many mistakes when ordering take out. This was a good place the past 13 years that I have been here. But now it needs work. Pay mor e attention to orders so they are made correctly. Please use traditional spaghetti and don't cut it up! What pizza place or restaurant does this? No one! read more

My friend and I drove through Pennsylvania on the way to Vermont a couple weeks ago and we ended up in North East, PA around dinner time. With a little internet searching, we found our way to Main Street and several dining options. Lacasa De Pizza looked so cute from the outside, our choice was clear. And I think we chose correctly, because it was also super tasty. The menu had the usual pizza place options, plus a couple things I wish I had tried or at least asked about, like pepperoni balls. I ended up ordering a salad (which oddly, was served in a styrofoam cup, but I was given a plate to dump it out onto) and a personal sized pizza with mushrooms (I had the choice of fresh or canned. I chose canned). My friend had a broccoli pizza, which was one of their specialties and included a garlicky white sauce. We were given the choice of regular dough, which was described as a little thick and soft or fresh dough, which was thinner and chewy. We both went with the fresh dough and it lived up to it's description. Both of the pizzas were really good and we were pleased. The restaurant is a storefront with a lot of charm. It also doubles as an antique/secondhand store. The walls are lined with vintage board games (Aggrivation, Clue), books, random signs, and other items for sale. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the bathroom was very small. I couldn't get in with my walker, even when I tried folding it. Otherwise, 2 thumbs up. Went there on the ride back from Peek n' Peak. Cute, owner run for thirty years. Clean and decorated in tin signs. Kids got milkshakes and both complained they were watery- even the boy that doesn't usually complain said this. The pizza was good, but not memorable. We ordered half plain and half pep. We live in the Philly suburbs with lots of amazing pizza and hoagie shops, like one every corner LOL! That being said, LaCasa's hot Italian hoagies are the absolute best! I don't know what they do to them, but they are damn good! LaCasa"s is a fun, kitschy type of joint that is a mainstay in North East and been around forever. I wish they could ship hoagies down to us in Philly! ;) read more
