The only downside is I ordered everything on the side and they only gave me one side of crema when in the past they would usually give out two. I ordered the big size one so I was expecting more crema for the big portion of strawberries. I did have to pay $2 extra for an extra side of crema which I didn't mind. I been wanting to try this place for so long so I decided to treat myself on my birthday. I'm glad I did. It didn't disappoint! I had a chicken sandwich and a apple bowl. Starters the menu was overwhelming with good food and suggestions . I ordered the torta which i know it can be made anyway but , this one just want that good. Just seemed like the sandwich was just placed together and then put in an oven. I order the ceviche chicharron , was really disappointed. The chicharron tasted like one of those waffle cones you get from the store it wasn't fresh as they proclaimed it would be . Wow I'm impressed! This is the best esquites I've ever had in my entire life.They have a little station set up at the back so you can add all your hot sauces, lemon juice, tajin, etc. I always think places don't make it spicy enough so this was perfect! I love their electronic menu screen they have above the counter. It's easy to read, brightly lit and convenient. They were very nice to a white girl like me who only knows minimal Spanish and probably said all the items I ordered wrong. So they do speak great English which is great for a gringa like me. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews but I am upset at the fact the tostilocos that I receive were super dry. I asked for everything on them including the Chile & lime which they didn't add. The tostielote didn't really have a flavor, it was really plain. Over all the price wasn't to bad. read more

So far one of my favorite places to come and get Mexican snacks! They have a huge variety of snacks and flavors to choose from. Prices vary depending on snack and it's size. Overall this place has a lot of good qualities that have me coming back again and again, expect for on occasions their customer service. Lately I've noticed that when the owners aren't there the quality of service is not the best. One of the younger female employees is always very rude and very unhygienic so I often avoid going when she's there. read more

first time here, i HAD to come when i saw that they sold elote w/hot cheetos. literally AMAZING, i haven't found good "street corn" since i moved out of california to washington. my husband got the fruit cup & everything was perfect. the staff was very friendly & service was quick. will def be coming here when i need my elote fix! read more

AMAZING, little gem in Lakewood! I used to work on South Tacoma Way and I can't believe I passed this place without a second glance! It's definitely one of those "blink and you miss it" type of places but now that I found it, I will definitely be stopping by often! I had a mangonada and it was so delicious! Lots of fresh mango and tons of chile. =) It's a small family owned business, and the entire family is so friendly and welcoming. They definitely do their best to build a report with their clientele and I greatly appreciated that. The pricing of all the drinks and food is very affordable and there's something for everyone! I usually go with a simple agua fresca de melon, but the options are practically endless. If you have never had the pleasure of actually tasting good Mexican food or snacks and have nothing for comparison then I guess this place will do. But if you are Mexican like me than this place is not for you. First of all, $11 for a "mangonada" (really just a scoop of ice over a few pieces of mango...3 pieces to be exact with watered down oj) and a small bag of dorilocos with old plastic tasting cueritos should be illegal. I was so upset I threw what I purchased away. I decided to make it at home instead. Nothing is good here, if you want a good authentic mangonada either make it yourself or have a real Mexican that knows what they're doing make it for you. I was visiting my best friend for Easter weekend and I mentioned how I was craving diablitos or mangonada. We did a quick search and found this place. I'm so glad we decided to come here!! It's a very tiny shop that can be easily missed while driving down the main street. There's some parking along the side - be sure to drive slowly so you won't miss it! I ordered the mangonada and it was so good. It definitely hit the spot!! Be sure to mix it well because most of the flavoring and spiciness is on the bottom of the cup.
