Although they have very minimal outside seating it is dog friendly! I ordered the Cali Burrito which is something completely different than I would expect ...in a great way! It had carne asada...avocado..and French fries inside the burrito. Yes..French fries! It worked..one of the best I have tried! It was huge and of course plenty of leftovers! When I saw the cups, I almost walked out but I had high hopes for the food. I understand that the focus is on the food, but when you're dining out, you also expect the experience to feel like you're dining out not like you're at a backyard party. The environment itself also felt more like a hole-in-the-wall than the nicer restaurant I had always assumed it was. The waitress was very friendly. I'm leaving this review in hopes that they take the feedback seriously, because something as simple as using proper drinkware would make a big difference in the overall dining experience.

I noticed this impeccably clean place that is in the same shopping center as CVS and Jamba Juice. I'm not opposed to using kiosks, but I would have expected an employee to at least acknowledge us or explain that we needed to use one. Instead, two separate employees looked directly at my wife and me and then turned away, as if we were supposed to automatically know what to do. As I was about to try placing an order on the kiosk, I overheard another customer asking an employee when their food would be ready because they had already been waiting for quite some time. At that point, rather than place an order and potentially have an even worse experience, my wife and I decided it was better to leave. It's disappointing to see that The Habit still hasn't addressed what seems to be a major issue with the customer service experience at this location. I really wanted to give this business another chance, but unfortunately, the experience was no different. One more thing: If someone from the business is going to respond to a negative review and provide a link for the customer to contact you directly, please make sure the link actually works. Someone responded to my previous review and encouraged me to reach out, but the link provided went nowhere. It's unfortunate because I would have liked to see this Yuba City location succeed.
