Convenient and fast! I've never had an issue with parking in the free lot, but the layout could be a bit weird. There are two kiosks to order from or you can order at the front. The foams on the specialty matcha are delicious. However, the foam is much sweeter than the actual drink so I like mixing some foam in with the drink. The interior is narrow, but clean and bright. I don't know if there is room for a large group to sit together inside, since it's mostly two person seating.

We got the strawberry ube milk tea (less sweet) and Hojicha latte with almond milk and coffee jelly (less sweet). Their less sweet is still far too sweet. I can't remember if they had zero sweetness option, but if they do, I'd do that from here forward. The strawberry une tastes like a strawberry pocky, not bad if that's the vibe you're going for, but I wish it had fresh strawberries and bits of ube. Hojicha was decent, but way too sweet. The coffee jelly was not what I expected. I thought it would be like the Japanese super sort and jiggly coffee jelly....that was not it. It was like hard and very sweet coffee jelly, sort of the consistency of Vietnamese dessert, Rau Câu. I wouldn't get it again in a drink. You can order with a person or at a kiosk. They're fast, so that's a plus. All around, La cha has a lot of hype, but I honestly was disappointed in the quality of it. Sorry to say, but I have a lot of other favorites I'd go to first before going back to La cha...

This place smelled SO good the second we walked in! It definitely made me want to come back and actually try the food bowls next time. I only ended up getting a jasmine milk tea with Oreo custard since they don't offer egg pudding. The seating area is really cute and aesthetic, just not the comfiest if you're planning to stay a long time. Big plus though -- there's lots of parking, which makes stopping by really easy.

I tried their pistachio matcha and an espresso macaroon. Their pistachio matcha was so good!! It was genuinely the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. I would love to try their other drinks but I would have to order two drinks because I really enjoyed the pistachio matcha! The espresso macaroon wasn't what I expected. I thought it would taste like coffee but it was mostly sweet haha. No complains though. I also love how easy it was to find parking. They have a kiosk that you can order from with pictures and the food looked so good! It's a bit small inside so if I were to order food on a busy day, I rather take it to go. Overall, it was a good experience. From the friendly service to the delicious treats, i definitely see myself being back and bringing people to try this place.

La Cha perfectly nails the Japandi aesthetic, blending modern lines with a cozy, minimalist vibe that makes it an ideal hangout spot. The Jasmine tea is incredibly fragrant and pairs beautifully with their creamy milk foam, though it's worth noting that even at 50% sweetness, it hits the palate a bit heavy when you add boba. However, the house milk tea is a total banger every single time. I've been ordering it at 50% sweetness with boba is the absolute sweet spot.

Service is made so efficient here! They give the customers efficient options to place the order with a self-service order taking kiosk upon walking in, a food delivery app for pickup, and etc. The employees get the drinks out in such a promptly manner which I truly appreciate! The cleanliness is really up to par, they have a nice seating area inside, and several chairs lined up on the wall outside for those waiting. The drinks are made with such great quality, YUMMY, and different! I can't wait to try the Dubai chocolate drink, very ecstatic about that one lol I haven't tried the food just yet, but when I do, I'll make sure to provide an updated review. Can't wait to come back!

Wow! Love the vibes, the selection and creativity! There are so many options, I am definitely coming back to work my way through the menu. Not only do they have high quality drinks but their rice bowls and appetizer bowls are really satisfying. I am so glad to see them have people constantly coming in to order because this will be a new community favorite in the southbay! Drinks were delicious and not overly sweet. Matcha is ceremonial organic. Could be slightly stronger (my preference). Kimchi fried rice was tasty and freshly made. Option to add extra spam, a plus! Service was limited since we ordered at kiosk but they were friendly when it came to pick up our order. Ambiance was clean and minimal modern. Would come back when in the area.

TL;DR - second new location! Chicken katsu has a GENEROUS portion of chicken. Cheese tteok-bokki was really fun to eat if you like sticky rice cake and fish cake. Not too spicy at all. Biscoff shake was my favorite. Biscoff matcha is also delicious. Same goes for the pistachio matcha and banana matcha! Finally got to check out La Cha x The Bowl's second new location! This place is equally spacious and clean like their Torrance location. For those who have never been before, they have a very wide selection of drinks and food. You'll satisfy any craving at this place. The service is very quick, and the staff is always professional and patient with questions. The ambiance is nice too. Perfect for grabbing food quickly and also sitting down to study and chat. We went a little crazy with all the food and drinks but there were zero regrets. Everything was really good! The highlight of the chicken katsu was the sheer amount of chicken they give you. I couldn't tell if there was more rice or chicken lol. Big fan of their ratio since I'm pretty focused on my protein intake. Super flavorful. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. It comes with a dip and pineapple as well. The cheese tteok-bokki was a nice surprise with everything that came buried underneath the cheese (LOTS of cheese). If you like sticky rice cake then this is the entree to get. They also have slices of fish cake under there as well. It's not too spicy but it has a nice little kick to it. I'd get this one again. As for the drinks, we went a little overboard with it but loved every one of them. In fact, we drank all 4 in a day lol. If you like biscoff cookies (for those unfamiliar with biscoff cookies, they're the rectangular cookies you sometimes get in an airplane), then you MUST try the biscoff shake and biscoff matcha!! I LOVED these. The amount of biscoff in there is perfect and the flavors are off the charts. The pistachio matcha is a unique drink that would make any pistachio and matcha lover smile. Refreshing and not too sweet. Lastly the banana matcha is refreshing in its own way. If you like banana matcha-anything then this one is worth a taste too. My favorite though, is the biscoff shake! Highly recommend trying this place and their Torrance location

This location has a modern atmosphere with good lighting. The drinks are innovative in flavor and we tried their recommended drinks (oreo matcha blended and banana shake chococup). We ordered through the kiosk and the drinks were made at a reasonable time despite the decent line. In terms of the drinks themselves, while the flavor combinations are unique and the Cracking choco cup was new, they ended up as just novelty ideas with flavor/taste that failed to amaze. Use to be Michoacana now its LA Cha, plenty of drink options from milk teas, to slushes, to coffees. You order off of a kiosk or if you have questions someone can help you. Seems to be cashless the ambiance is relaxed and place is very clean. I got a Brown sugar milk tea which set me back $6 without add ons, the flavor is a 8/10 its great but it taste the same as all the other Brown sugar milk teas out there. Got original popcorn chicken which was 8.50, im glad it had that Taiwanese taste that comes with this style of chicken. It could use more basil I only got two large leaves so I give it 7.5/10. Will definitely come back to try other options like there bowls. P.S. it seems like across from this store we will be getting a Mongolian bbq which Im excited for.

10/10 would recommend! I was craving a mango smoothie and popcorn chicken and they were both a HIT! I would suggest getting the mango smoothie less sugar though (cus i forgot) but if you like sweets then be my guest! Service was awesome and the guy cashier was knowledgeable. First time here. Shall keep it short and to the point here. We ordered the following drinks: thai tea, strawberry peach tea, and the popular: banana coffee. We also got food: kimchi fried rice, tteok-bokki, chicken teriyaki and fried gyoza. The good: the thai iced tea and the strawberry peach teas were genuinely good. Also all of the food was good. Tteok-bokki was lightly spicy but that's good. Kimchi fried rice with cheese = fire. Chicken teriyaki = really good. Gyoza was good (nothing overly special it's just fried gyoza but still good). Now the bad: the ONLY thing that we agreed on that WASN'T good was the (popular) Banana Milk Coffee. We drink a lot of coffee and could immediately tell that the "milk" had a fake banana flavor. The entire coffee tasted like candy banana laffy taffy. If that is your cup of coffee, by all means, but if you don't like those sorts of flavors, DON'T get this one. (-1 full star) Everything else we had was good but that coffee is a hard never again, lol. read more

Tried this new place out on a sunday evening and it's overall mid. Waited almost half an hr for our $9 drinks and the boba pearls in our drinks were hard and was mostly ice. I got the tiger sugar banana milk it was pretty good but wished it didn't just taste like regular banana milk. The biscoff drink my partner got was good but also very basic for how much it cost. Nice spot w lots of options I guess but it's not worth it tbh. I won't be coming here again there's better places for cheaper read more

Saw videos on tik tok of this new place that opened up near by, when I saw the biscoff matcha that was the first thing I got. Then I got the poke salad and the sweet and spicy popcorn chicken. The poke salad was different but still delicious my husband isn't very fan of raw fish but he devoured this bowl. The spicy and sweet popcorn chicken was probably my favorite it's a small but filling snack that packs a lot of flavor it's not too spicy but it has a light kick. The staff was very kind and helpful with anything I was missing or any questions I had but there is a kiosk you can order your food at or a counter where staff can put your order in as well. The vibe of the place is so cozy and welcoming I just don't recommend coming in large groups there aren't a lot of tables you can put together if it gets crowded but over all a nice place. Definitely going back to try more of the food and drinks!! read more

Really cute drink/boba and food bowl spot (I did not try any food). It's clean and modern with good dairy and nondairy drink options. I really liked the various matcha and milk tea choices. The seating area provides an ideal meet up for 2 people inside and outside but it's still possible for larger groups to utilize multiple tables/seats. Once entering the shop a line already had formed with only 1 kiosk available. I noticed a potential set up for a second kiosk and I hope it gets installed in the near future to avoid a crowded entrance way. Thankfully someone at the register was available to take orders to clear up the crowded kiosk. My pastacio matcha drink was prepped really quick and was delicious. I'd much prefer my pick up order be called by name to avoid digging through my purse to find the receipt for the order number. I saw the honeydew milk tea drink, which are usually seasonal, so for sure I'll be back soon. read more

It was a simple mistake but did not mean she could yell at her co worker and a paying customer. On this visit, I ordered the House Matcha with almond milk and paid $7.75. The drink was significantly underfilled, which resulted from my request for no ice. While I understand that removing ice can affect volume, the amount of empty space at the top of the cup made it feel like I received less than a full drink despite paying the full price. In addition, I was charged for an almond milk substitution, which further contributed to the expectation of a properly filled drink. The cup size also raised concerns. I recently ordered a Banana Cream Matcha at the same price point and received a noticeably larger cup. On this visit, the House Matcha was served in a smaller cup, and even the sleeve did not fit correctly. The combination of a smaller cup and reduced fill level created an inconsistency in value that was immediately noticeable. The most significant issue was that the drink contained no sweetness at all. The House Matcha is described as "perfectly sweet matcha" and includes agave syrup, so it is reasonable to expect sweetness as part of the standard preparation. Instead, the drink was completely unsweetened. There was no communication during ordering that sweetness needed to be selected separately, and in prior visits I have never been asked about sweetness level. This is also not the first time I have received a matcha drink without sweetness despite it being described otherwise. By the time I realized, I had already left the store and was unable to return due to time commitments, and it does not feel reasonable that multiple preparation issues should require a return visit. It is also concerning that there is no clear pricing listed next to the different matcha options in the matcha section of the menu. The lack of visible prices makes it difficult to understand the cost of each drink at the point of ordering and reduces transparency for customers. From a broader perspective, consistency issues across cup size, fill level, and recipe execution affect the overall experience. I regularly purchase specialty drinks and would be comfortable paying $7.75 if the product consistently matched the menu description, portioning was accurate, and expectations were clearly communicated at the point of sale. As someone who visits this plaza several times per month, I would genuinely like to continue supporting this business and have consistently positive experiences. That depends on clearer communication, more consistent preparation standards, and attention to detail during both ordering and fulfillment. At home, I am able to prepare matcha easily using a variety of milks, including almond, oat, coconut, cashew, pistachio, banana, and pea protein, along with simple sweeteners such as agave, maple syrup, honey, and organic brown sugar. I also keep ingredients such as whipped cream, sea salt, strawberries on hand, blueberries, and mango, allowing me to make specialty drinks like strawberry matcha, blended matcha with frozen strawberries, or other customized variations. Because of that, the value of a café drink comes down to consistency, accuracy, and convenience rather than ingredients alone. If issues such as inconsistent cup sizes, underfilling, missing ingredients, or unclear customization options are occurring across orders, it may point to a need for improved staff training and clearer standardization. Addressing these areas would likely improve the experience for both regular and first-time customers. I hope this feedback is received as constructive input from a returning customer meant to improve overall customer satisfaction and repeat business.

This tea shop just opened very close to my house, and let me tell you, it is a blessing! The vibe is casual, modern, and clean with a touch of warmth from the wooden elements in the interior. Great place to work or have a conversation, especially since they open late (10:00 pm closing time)! As for the drinks, I've had the La Cha milk tea and Thai tea, and they're definitely the highest quality tea that I've had thus far. I prefer it over 85° Bakery and Ding Tea. The cups are sturdy nice and sturdy, which is great for taking on the go in a car. Employees are always sweet and attentive as well! I asked for salt for an order of popcorn chicken, and she served me salt from the back in a special little cup since they didn't have packets . 10/10, highly recommend! read more

Brand new spot of course I had to stop by. Yelp indicated it was a Korean cafe but it must be for the food only. The drinks all had the beautiful aesthetics but are typical of Taiwanese boba cafes and Vietnamese coffee joints along with several viral / or trending flavors like Dubai chocolate and a few Matcha drinks. I stuck with the basic Matcha all the way which is their version of Double Matcha. It was ok. Matcha cream was good, not to sweet but the matcha drink itself is not the best quality.
