Vodka Bloody Mary - two delish olives and pretty tasty bloody mix. Unsure what vodka but slightly sweet.

Really hate to do this but feel like Julian Medina, their HQ or whoever has quality control over La Chula needs to be made aware. Started with a $23 Bloody Mary - pretty good for what an airport costs as I get one before every flight. Ordered 2. Server/bartender was kind & attentive. Looked at the QR code menu and thought the breakfast burrito bowl looked great... To my surprise - nothing like pictured. Like, at all. Greasy at the bottom from "chorizo" yet the meat was dry, barely cooked (microwaved and lukewarm/cold) in the middle and very small. I don't expect a ton from airport food but this was the worst I've ever had. Do better - if you advertise "impeccably fresh and authentic ingredients" then they should be. I believe each ingredient was frozen and/or shelf stable. Ate about 1/3 and stopped in fear that I would cause internal turbulence if I continued... What a bummer for what looked great.

My husband and I stopped in to grab a quick bite before our flight. The area was nice and bright and our server (didn't get her name) was welcoming. There was nice music playing while we ate. The food wasn't the best Mexican I've had but it was filling and okay. I got a burrito bowl and my husband got carnitas tacos which he said was okay. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know I love a good margarita with a sugar rim. La Chula did not have sugar rims so I settled for salt. The margarita wasn't bad, but definitely not worth the $23.99 price. As much as I would have liked another, spending almost $50 on two was not happening. It wasn't even a fishbowl glass which are used in some Mexican restaurants for a much cheaper price. I would say the meal price was okay for airport prices. I'm sure if I took a flight out of LaGuardia again, I would eat here again but might forego the margarita. Happy to see there was an outlet at my table to charge phone before my flight.

Refreshing to see a good restaurant and bar in an airport that doesn't want to exploit you with overpriced food or drinks. I arrived to the gate early and this cute place was right next to gate 42 in Terminal B. I sat at the bar and was welcomed. Service was excellent and prices were good. An added plus, it was right next to the gate so I could hear them announce boarding.

Been to the new and improved version of this terminal a few times now, and this food stall always stood out as a decent sit-down option. Still a fair amount of bar seating on a Tuesday afternoon, so got a seat and looked at the scannable menu. Like everywhere else in the airport, the prices are high. Decided to keep it light by ordering Chips & Salsa ($8) to go along with a can of Fat Tire ($10). Salsa wasn't too bad, not fresh but it had a nice kick to it. Chips are your basic fare, thin and warm. Was able to chill there for a while without being pressured into another drink. Bartenders here seem to be chill and there are TVs up top playing some sports. If looking for some drinks and snacks, this spot is better than most.

Horrible. Remember to pay for any extras even if it's just extra onions. I tried to give them cash after the fact and they refused me. Horrible service. If I was sitting there vs. to go. I would have gotten my onions. Do not eat here. Carne asada taco was disgusting. And the shrimp taco had cheese on it but never listed that it did.

Quesadilla with unmelted cheese. Tons of sauce but somehow bland.

Terrible service. Lady was extremely rude. Beer served in a hot glass. They were out of half the menu. The vibe makes you think you're getting authentic Mexican food; unfortunately my $11 quesadilla was room temp and the cheese wasn't melted (which I'm pretty sure is the whole point?). It's a shame places like this exist and will continue to exist because everyone who comes here is just passing through. Meanwhile Shake Shack is right around the corner and their quality control is top notch. Hopefully this review steers you clear of this train-wreck.

Lachula is a good spot to hang out before your flight takes off at terminal B at LaGuardia airport. The tacos are decent and it is a cool spot for being such a super tiny restaurant. It can be difficult to get. A spot at the bar but it helps if you are traveling alone. The tables do turn as everyone has a flight to catch. The staff was pretty cool and the food comes fast which is a good thing.

Quesadilla is opened faced which is kind of odd. Out of chicken at 10 am. No designated server or anyone to help us even get a water.

Loved the veggie burrito (made it vegan without cheese and crema) w added jalapeños. It's easy bar side service.

Crowded, understaffed kiosk in the new terminal B with dismissive inattentive staff and mediocre tacos. Try again, LaGuardia.

I haven't been to their other locations in the city, but this was really quite good. My recommendations are the El Gobernador, The Cracken, an aguachile (mango habanero is my fave) and the tuna toastada. The Ceviches are quite boring in my opinion, so go for an aguachile instead. DRinks are great, they have cantaritos and carajillos. What could go wrong if you've got both to choose from. Service is friendly and the ambiance is authentic mexican food plus air condiditoning. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful, and she was happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. The fish was fresh, and the ceviche was solid, although there was no wow factor. The standout for me was the Molcajete Norteño, the fried octopus with guacamole, which was delicious. The most annoying part of the experience was when a kid came in and turned the music up extremely loud, then started singing a solo and going around asking everyone for tips afterward. We gave him $3 for his effort, but honestly, it was more loud and annoying than entertaining. I'm not even sure if he worked there or was just someone who came in off the street. Overall, the food was solid and the service was friendly, but I'm not exactly counting down the days until my next visit.

For food, my group stuck with the beef, opting for the birria and NY strip steak tacos. Both were very tasty, and made even better with the spicy housemade salsas. The bill was high enough that it made me double check the math, and I wish that the taco dishes came with some type of side for $20+ a pop, but overall, Ayy Chihuahua is good enough that I'd come back again, at least for another round of drinks.

My only complaint for the esquite was that it had a little too much water and mayo but other than that, the corn was sweet and all the seasoning was perfect and hit the spot! The main reason why this is one of my go to places now though is because of the smoothies. I haven't been too often just yet but the smoothies that I have tried from then so far have been absolutely perfect.
