The service was friendly and quick especially considering I only had 30min for lunch that day. The restaurant inside is pleasantly nice and clean. The restrooms themselves were clean too. Had a great breakfast here. Waitress checked ingredients of multiple menu items and was able to answer our tables questions. The Papas Rancheras tacos add avocado with a side of rice, all vegan. The rest of my party ordered typical breakfast options and loved their meals as well. Staff took good care of us, constant refills on coffee, and were very helpful. We decided to go out for breakfast and usually head to Poncho Gringos but it was not open. Really never heard of this place but it was open and it was breakfast. To our surprise this place was awesome. We walked in and it was not so busy, the staff was kind and inviting. It was quiet and plenty of tables. We ordered. I did not take any pictures this time for I was hungry and wanted to really take in the ambiance. I ordered two taco with egg and churro with bacon and cheese. I will say the two were filling and delicious. My daughter order a bean and cheese which two filled her too. My wife had some eggs beans and a whole plate of food. I wish I remembered what she ordered but I will say none of us were disappointed. The waitress had our coffee filled and checked in reasonably, unlike other breakfast places where they are on top of you or ignore you. I will say when we were leaving this place was getting packed. So, my opinion is this is a good to go place, you want a good breakfast, lunch with a kind and enjoyable atmosphere this is it. read more

We were those people & arrived 30mins before they closed. A party of 13 , we didn't know they closed at 3pm in our defense. But man! They were so gracious and understanding. The moment you walk in they greet you, the waitress are very sweet. First thing I noticed when I walked in was them making some freshly squeezed lemonade. No naturally , I ordered that. Unfortunately there is no refill but that didn't stop me from drinking 2 large cups! It's so refreshing and not overly sweet. We all ordered diff things and all the food tasted amazing. I ordered the menudo & the nachos Coronela. Super delicious. I love that they bring out everything in disposable cups/plates/silverware. I love that their tortillas are all handmade. The chicharon con huevo was good but the other tacos were pretty bland even with the salsa I was tryna drown it with. The carnitas were dry I needed a coke to drink it with and when I finished one the waitress took forever to come around and I had to stop her and ask her for one. WOW!! Just WOW!! I just stumbled across this place as looking for a place close to my wife's work. My wife had the taco plate, pictured below, and I had the puffy taco plate and both were awesome!! The street tacos were great it started with the fresh corn tortillas and surprising with grilled onions as well as the fresh onions. The puffy tacos were great and I love puffy tacos and amazing disappointed that there are only a few places that do them right, t his place has been added to the list. The meats were seasoned perfectly and the veggies were awesome, I loved the beans and the homemade corn tortillas were great. This place is GREAT! When compared to all the other Mexican joints in the area for breakfast tacos - this is the supreme for sure. Their beef fajita is actual beef, not the imitation, stringy or odd tasting beef fajita you'd taste anywhere else. The tortillas are homemade & sized perfectly. The potato, egg & cheese taco was STUFFED and well made. The bean & cheese is also from scratch & not just beans from a can. The coffee is also nutty & fresh, not the typical coffee you'd get at a taco joint. 10/10 definitely recommend. read more

Over all a good place with delicious food. Faithfully go here about 1 a week if not MORE. BUT this is the 2nd time I order a soup and get hardly any vegetables. I finally decided to call this time since i asked for no chicken and no corn in my chicken soup thinking I'd get extra vegtables. Upon calling they said they did. 1 extra vegtable per vegtable in the soup so total of 2 extra vegtables to make up for the chicken & corn not put in my soup and a total of only 1 potato. A total of 5 vegtables with soup, rice and tortillas for nearly 8$ is OUTRAGES. I was better off making it at home for my daughter which i had to do anyway because theres no way that would be enough. I wish i took a picture but i was too busy trying to call only for them to say well thats what we were told to charge and we did give you extra vegtables which they DID 1 carrot and 1 squash was the extra. If you come here do not get their soups unless you're not a fan of your veggies. The cook is told to put 1 vegetable of each per small soup. This will be my last time ordering soup here since my baby loves her veggies. Will be taking my business elsewhere for future soups. read more

I've eaten here several times and they have yet to disappoint me. Carne guisada is great, the enchiladas are delicious, but their hidden gem is their carne con chile. I don't know of many places that serve this, but of the few that I know of that do, La Coronela has the best ones. You can't go wrong with any dish here.
