What a great Mexican restaurant. The service is outstanding. Our waitress was so nice. The restaurant was packed. So it must be pretty popular with the locals. I can see why. I ordered the chicken enchilada, that came with a small side of black beans and rice. The chicken in the enchilada was so tender. It just melted in your mouth. It was so good. There was a green sauce on it. That was so scrumptious not really spicy, but had like a spicy kind of flavor. The beans were great they had small chunks of pork. The rice was green. I'm not sure if it was mixed with cilantro, but it was light and fluffy and that was amazing. It was a wonderful dinner and quite filling.

Decided to meet here since it was a good meeting point & we are so happy we did! The restaurant itself is very modern & updated, nice finishes. We were seated right away & our server was very friendly. We all loved the margaritas & spicy margaritas. The food was delicious & had great flavor!

What a nice place! I was truly impressed by the ambiance, the decor and the service. I was a little concerned about having a table right by the door, but it wasn't an issue on this Sunday afternoon. The little pillow in my chair...nice! We all ordered margaritas which were not weak by any means. The queso was tasty and different than expected. I ordered the pollo enchiladas, my husband had the brisket enchiladas, I'm not sure what others had but I heard the quesadillas were a new favorite for one of us. My pollo enchiladas (3) were so good. The verde sauce was subtle, the chicken was tender and wrapped in a soft tortilla. Sometimes I've gotten tough tortillas--not the case here! I'm not a big fan of black beans, but they were good as well. The cilantro rice was great not mushy, not dry, just right. You can over do it on cilantro, but the taste was very good. Our server was great and so helpful. She took great care of us. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it isn't your typical taco cabana. I would definitely come back.

    Beef and chicken fajitas

Hands-down, the best fajitas I've ever had!!! I also recommend the fajita salad also!!!! so good!!!

    Fajita Nachos!

Great stop between Austin and San Antonio. We had nachos and drinks, and both were very good. Our waitress, Micayla, did a great job taking care of us. Definitely a nice place to relax, grab a bite, and break up the drive.

First time eating here, the restaurant was nice and clean. The service could have been better. Waitress was very friendly however she was slow getting us our drinks and the check. I know you maybe thinking it was busy at the time however it was not. Only a couple families were inside when we arrived at 5 pm. We walked in and seated immediately. The food was pretty good. Overall good experience.

Great food, love the chips and salsa. The salsa comes out warm even hot. The food taste really good, it is quite pricey, so for me this isn't an every day eat place. The bathrooms are clean and nice. The dining room is elegant. I think this is a great upscale Mexican food restaurant with really good Mexican food.

Invisible Man Syndrome: When bartender gives you a terrific margarita, amazing chips and salsa, and delicious looking orders are served to patrons at the bar to your right and left, then you wait. Do I get a menu? No. I wait, and wait. Nada. I've become invisible. I get up, walk to the exit, hold the door open for other customers entering, and leisurely walk away.

Hands down, some of the most delicious Mexican food around. We started with the guacamole as an appetizer and ate it with the chips they serve. Even the chips were yummy! I had the fajitas with wagyu steak and the chicken tinga tacos as a main course. I know two plates! But I couldn't decide between the two and neither one disappointed. Our server Kyle was awesome! We were seated in a semi- private are because we were a nice size party, 11 of us, including a baby, child and a couple of teens, and he was patient with us as the teens took a little while to decide what to order. My only complaint is that I forgot to take pictures of our food

    Carnitas Quesadillas

I decided to come out to La Cosecha with the fam to have a nice birthday dinner. The restaurant has a nice ambience. From the moment you step in you are transported to an old Spanish hacienda. The staff is friendly and the service is top notch! Their drink selection is great, definitely recommend having a Paloma or a margarita. I ordered the Carnitas Quesadillas which are very tasty! Definitely recommend for anyone who is craving some quality Tex-Mex.

The tortilla soup is absolutely amazing! The flavors are a perfect blend of deliciousness! It has the perfect amount of ingredients that are flavorful and authentic. The service is always good, no matter where you sit. The atmosphere is over the top! Oh..and the chips and warm salsa are impeccable!

The hair I pulled out of the salsa.

My husband and I ate at this establishment a couple of days ago and had a absolutely horrible experience. For the price of the plates you would expect a better experience. He ordered the brisket tacos and I had the cheese enchiladas. We also ordered the queso and a coke and unsweet tea. We were there about 6:00 PM so at a busy time. The queso was not hot and was not completely melted. The waiter never refilled our drinks after the initial drink was brought out and after returning to the table 3 times never asked if we would like refills. On top of that I found hair in our salsa. Instead of making a scene my husband spoke to the manager after we paid and the manager said he would take 15$ to 20$ off of our bill for the inconvenience however that did not happen either. He instead took off $10. I will not be recommending this place to ANYONE. We had been warned by a reputable chef but decided to try it anyhow. Big mistake! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else with better service and more care placed into their food.

Only issue I had was the food was just barely warm, not hot like it should be. It was tasty though and the service was excellent.

They say New Mexican cuisine. What part of New Mexico? While the food may be good, it has nothing in common with New Mexican cuisine.

It has a classy, tasteful speakeasy vibe without feeling overdone or pretentious. They also have a private room that would be great for a special group gathering or a more intimate celebration. The grand piano in the room adds a really elegant touch and makes the space feel even more elevated. We went on a Monday night, so it's hard to say what the normal energy is like on a busier evening, but the overall atmosphere was still very pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The only thing I would have loved was a little more creativity or guidance with the cocktails. The space gives the impression that you're about to get a true mixologist-style experience, but the recommendations we received were pretty standard, like Old Fashioneds and martinis. We were hoping for something a little more unique or original, maybe a twist on a Sidecar or an elevated take on a classic Old Fashioned. That said, it's still a beautiful spot with great ambience, pleasant service, and a very nice overall feel. I would definitely go back, especially on a busier night to see the full vibe.

You go way to the back and down a steep flight of stairs. My son, his wife, and I left my wife and grandbaby in the saloon and headed down. When you get down there, you are suddenly in a beautiful Tiki bar with so many amazing things to gawk at. It sort of felt like waking up in OZ. We were the first people there, so we got to sit at the bar and watch our drinks being made. They have about 15 or so different specialty tiki drinks. Each one comes in a particular piece of glassware. I don't know how the bartender keeps them straight. He was constantly pouring different things into a shaker. Then he would shake it and pour it into the glass that was already filled with crushed ice. One of the drinks even had a smoking cinnamon stick. My drink was really good. It was the Three Dots and a Dash. It came in a barrel and was decorated with a skull toothpick that had three cherries and a piece of pineapple to represent the dots and dash. It was super strong! I was ready to risk it all and go for another drink, but it had gotten packed inside the bar. We could tell the bartender was stressing. They really need two for times like that. My wife spends the night at my son's house in New Braunfels every Thursday to give them a date night. Evidently, this is where they always go. I can certainly see why!

Our mixologist, Logan (absolutely wonderful human being) not only made us the most delicious pecan praline whiskey cocktail but he also gave use some incredible history on the space & of course the ghosts! The limestone walls are original. Much of the decor adorning the walls was found in the building. Some of the wall hangings include an original bond and doctor prescriptions for whiskey. The furnishings and accessories complement the rooms to enhance the feeling of old-west prohibition. The velvet pieces exemplify burlesque. Total "hitch your horse to a post, mosey on down for a secret drink and a good time" vibes. Logan spun a tale of ghosts appearing in selfies taken by previous guests. The story was sensational and I was all about it. A wonky thing happened with the POS system while we were there that required a reboot. I joked that the ghosts thought I was taking too many pictures. Dark, moody, sexy, and relaxing...everything you want in a speakeasy---& good drinks too, of course. Absolute works of liquid art!
