Our chips were getting low and before we even had to ask, she noticed and immediately brought us a fresh basket along with more salsa and bean dip. That kind of attentive service makes such a difference! For our meal, we ordered the Chile Verde lunch special, which was a really good size and very satisfying, plus two à la carte tacos. Servers were nice, brought out drinks out, with chips and salsa. 15 minutes later the breakfast plate was delivered. I had to ask for silverware, as there wasn't any on the table. 10 minutes later both taco plates were delivered, asked for silverware again. Server asked if there was anything else. Wife asked about her flutas? There was a bit of a scramble and then it appeared that they put the flutas order in. Everyone finished their food, and the Flan was brought out. Flutas finally arrived, wife was not happy. Asked for a togo box and we left. When asked what happened, she had nothing to say and dropped off 2 $5 off passes for our next visit. That's it, nothing more. Hope this helps management/ownership make some useful changes or at least gives them some valuable information.

This place is a joke. Their food sucks but their service is even worse. My dad got verbally abused but two racist white "men" (more childish than anything) on 9/4/2020. My parents were just sitting waiting for their food and for whatever reason these two "men" decided to start yelling racist, derogatory terms at my parents. My dad turn around to see what was going on and these two maskless "men" starting hurling insults. What did the staff do, just stare. It got to the point of getting physical and you didn't bother to call the cops on two idiots harassing a man and his family. My parents couldn't even get their food as these idiots started following and harassing my parents. To La Costa, please make sure to provide a safe eating experience to your customers. We have been customers for YEARS, even when La Costa was a shack we supported you yet you failed to provide a safe eating environment for loyal customers. I never thought I would ever write this type of review but here we are. Thanks for the many years of "service" yesterday was the last time we will be patronizing your establishment. If you find yourself out in this area, you would be silly not to stop by La Costa for a burrito and/or taco. This place is just lovely. A rather new restaurant with a beautiful covered outdoor eating area and a large dinning room, La Costa also serve up yummy tacos and burritos. We had carne asada tacos - They were pretty cheap $1.50 and there was plenty of meat and onions and flavor. They had a red salsa on them that added a little spice - wasn't the most original flavor but it was solid. The burrito ($6), again carne aside, was generous and came with sour cream. Most regular burritos I order don't have sour cream and so that was kind of a disappointment as it made the burrito a bit soggy. There was a salsa bar but I was a bit disappointed to see that their pickled carrots and peppers came from a huge industrial can. Made me wonder if their salsa was also industrial (I hope not). read more

one thing I love about this food joint is that you can be sure that you will always find your favorite meal. But like a lot of bars I feel they charge way too high for their draught beer. I feel that this is not fair. They should consider revising the price for beer or introduce better alternatives so that the average income person does not feel out of place. While my love for the restaurant goes strong feel like in due to the economic environment is they do not revise their prices, I will have to change my preference and look for a place that I more affordable. Alternatively, they should make up by subsidizing the price of food so that there is a balance and this might be a way of keeping the customers form fleeing the place. read more

I love this place! Someone recommended us to La Costa in Oakley so when we were in the area we made a point to check it out. We definitely prefer the Oakley location over the Brentwood one. Great prices for fresh, good food! Love the pico de gallo on their generously sized burritos ( enough for 2 meals or sharing)! The food is very fresh due to the fact the food does not sit around at the Oakley location. We've tried a few different dishes there and usually opt for take out, but when the weather is nice, you can sit outside by the fountain which is nice and very casual. The food quality certainly rivals more expensive restaurants. It is a great value for little money! read more

I have been going here since I was little and I can say honestly that this place is the best Mexican food in the area. When this place first opened their doors it was just a little taco shack on the side of the road. Now it's a full blown restaurant with inside seating, soda fountains, and a salsa bar. They took the salsa bar away for a short period of time but they brought it back due to popular demand. I usually order a carne asada super burrito and it's delicious. I highly recommend this place for their delicious food, great service, and excellent price point. read more

I'm not one to give too detailed a review for this place since I am a very picky eater who eats very little Mexican food. This place however, it's usually pretty good. Once in a great while my meat n cheese quesadilla tastes completely different. I always order the same, so, I'm assuming it's who's on that day to flavor the meat or cook it. The service is impressively fast, and the staff are genuinely friendly, which makes for a pleasant dining experience. I ordered the asada and shrimp burrito, and it was packed with flavorful, well-seasoned meat and shrimp from start to finish. It was fresh, satisfying, and easily enough for a hearty meal. I also ordered the horchata, which was creamy and very tasty. My only minor suggestion would be to add a little more ice, but the flavor itself was excellent. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with generous portions and great taste, I definitely recommend giving Aracely's a try. I'll definitely be back!

The burritos were 10 out of 10. For sure hit the spot. The sauce on the burrito reminds me of fideo soup, iykyk, more of a tomatoey flavor versus an enchilada style sauce that you get at other establishments, but soooooo good! Also, the tacos were very flavorful! For sure give it a try!
