I'm 48 years old and I can honestly say this is the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. No exaggeration. Araceli's restaurant is on another level. The flavors are authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced. Every bite tastes like it was made with care and tradition. You can tell this isn't just food it's pride and passion on a plate. The wet burrito? Absolutely unreal. Perfectly seasoned meat, generous portions, and the sauce is next-level good. I've had wet burritos all over nothing compares to this one. And the birria? The best I've ever had. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I literally drive from LA just to eat here. It's that worth it. If you're thinking about trying it stop thinking and go. You won't regret it. I can't wait to come back again. 10/10 every time.

Best pozole 5/5 I've had in the area! * Only on weekends sadly The fact that they do patitas (pork feet) in there makes it so much better! Also had a steak and eggs breakfast burrito which was good, nothing crazy 4/5 Al pastor vampiro 4/5 (would of loved onion/cilantro on top) came playing with pico on the side Asada Vampiro 3/5 meat wasn't the best Tripa tacos 3.5/5 good but super greasy Would definitely be back but just for the pozole, other menu items look good as well. Service was good, cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. There's a few tables to sit at inside and outside as well.

Wet burrito asada and shrimp with green sauce. Best burrito in town

Absolutely love how the restaurant and the market are connected! First time here, not a big fan of burritos, and whenever I want them I'm SUPER PICKY where I get them from. But I've heard a lot of good things about this place, that and my dad enjoyed going here when he used to come out this way. I like that this place is decently clean, a little on the dark side seeing there are only the windows towards the front and they're pretty shaded. But all in a all a nice little spot to grab lunch for sure I've always been a taco girl, that's my go to! But I've heard so much about the burritos I opted to get a super carne asada burrito. Let me tell you! This thing is as big as my forearm! Portion is definitely enough for 2! Everything was well seasoned, I only had 2 sorta kinda issues. They put lettuce and tomatoes in their burritos. I understand most places put pico de gallo but it was just chunks of tomatoes. (I hate tomatoes but I love ketchup and spaghetti. And YES , I'm one of those kind of people lol) not used to lettuce in a burrito. It was an unnecessary option in the burrito though. And second, the burrito wasn't wrapped well so most of it leaked and came out of the bottom of the burrito. But let me just say, both THE GREEN AND RED SAUCE WERE DELICIOUS! Gave the burrito the right uummph! Do not forget to get extra sauce! You will definitely need it. Other than that, none of the took away from how great it tasted. The staff was very kind, patient and quick. We had a group of 6 people but ordered for 4 more as well. All in all I say a good experience, definitely worth another visit.

Thank God for another meal, because this place definitely did not serve one made with care…read more The experience started off confusing before we even got the food. We pulled up around 12:50, and the sign on the door said closed, while the lighted sign said open. Mixed signals right away. We literally had to call just to find out if anyone was even there. I ordered a super burrito wet, half green and half red sauce. I was told what it came with, but when I got the food, key ingredients were missing. No real sour cream, no proper pico de gallo, and barely anything that made it feel like an actual super burrito. I also ordered another super burrito and asked for ranchero meat, because that is clearly something they sell there. If you sell ranchero tacos, then obviously ranchero meat exists in your kitchen and should be an option in a burrito too. Instead, the burrito came in a box looking like they already knew it wasn't put together right. When I got home and opened it, I was honestly disappointed. The photos speak for themselves. This was not a super burrito. It was a sloppy tortilla overloaded with rice and meat, with almost nothing else inside to balance it out. No beans, barely any vegetables, no real pico, and no care in the way it was made. It looked like somebody just stuffed whatever was easiest in there and called it done. And before anyone tries to say I didn't ask for certain things, you can literally see tiny pieces of tomato in there, which shows some kind of veggie mix was supposed to be part of it. But overall, it was still mostly just rice and meat. That is not what people expect when they order a super burrito. The wet burrito was just as bad presentation-wise. It should have been smothered properly, with that melty, flavorful, put-together look. Instead, it looked rushed, sloppy, and halfway done. Even the cheese on top looked like it was thrown on without any effort. This whole meal felt like it was made with no pride. Confusing service, missing ingredients, weak execution, and burritos that looked more like a struggle meal than something worth paying for. Grateful to have food, always. But I would not come back for this. Here's a shorter, sharper Yelp version too: Pulled up around 12:50 and the sign said closed, but the open light was on. We had to call just to see if anyone was there. That should've been the first warning. Ordered a wet super burrito, half green and half red, and another super burrito with ranchero meat. What I got was a sloppy mess. The photos speak for themselves. These were not super burritos -- they were mostly rice and meat stuffed into a tortilla with missing ingredients and no care. No real pico de gallo, no beans, barely any balance, and the wet burrito looked rushed and poorly finished. The cheese on top looked thrown on, not melted and smothered the way it should be. One burrito even came in a box looking like it had already fallen apart. If you sell ranchero tacos, then ranchero should clearly be available as burrito meat too. No excuse there. The places was alone for it to be lunch hour . Not a lot of people Overall, this food looked and tasted like it was made with no pride. Grateful for the meal, but definitely not worth the money.

I love this place, but this visit absolutely sealed the deal all over again…read more We ordered the carne asada super burrito and it was perfection. It was packed with flavorful, juicy meat and had the ideal ratio of beans, rice, and cheese -- every bite was balanced and satisfying. No skimpy filling here. Just a beautifully built burrito done right. The chips and guacamole were just as impressive. The chips came out hot, thin, and perfectly fresh -- that light crisp that shatters just right. The guacamole tasted bright and fresh, clearly made with care and real ingredients. We also tried the pastor torta, and wow. It was loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat, and the bread was soft, fresh, and toasted perfectly. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- exactly how a torta should be. Every component worked together so well. And the piña agua fresca? Super fresh and refreshing -- the perfect complement to everything we ordered. We come here often, but this time we switched it up and tried the burrito -- and it did not disappoint. This is easily one of the best taquerias in town. Consistently delicious, generous portions, and clearly made with pride. We'll definitely be back (soon!) to try the quesabirria. So grateful to have a spot like this in town.

The plate was extremely hot, the pork was very tough and seemed undercooked for a dish that should be tender, and nearly half of the meat was fat. I also found multiple bay leaves mixed into the burrito. The chips were so heavily salted that they were practically inedible. I actually had to rub some of the salt off before eating them. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it will probably be our last. ***** PLEASE READ BEFORE EATING HERE *****…read more I normally do not leave Yelp reviews unless an experience is truly bad, but after today I felt people should know before spending their money here. I chose Guadalajara because I had previously tried their food truck at an event and really enjoyed the food. For Mother's Day, my 17-year-old son wanted to do something nice for me and took me there with my other kid and my mother. Unfortunately, the experience was awful from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was completely dead with barely any customers, and the woman working the front register looked irritated that we were even there. She was unfriendly, rude, rushed us while ordering, and made us feel like we were bothering her the entire time. While ordering, we noticed there were no cooks in the kitchen. After we placed our order, she told us they were "running behind" because there were no cooks available. She also got part of our order wrong, specifically the type of meat we requested. When we politely questioned it after seeing the receipt, she immediately became defensive and insisted we ordered it that way, which we absolutely did not. She eventually said she would fix it before the food came out. The problems continued after that. The bathroom had no toilet paper, there were no napkins or utensils available anywhere in the restaurant, and every time we had to ask her for something she acted irritated and inconvenienced. When my food finally arrived, it was extremely spicy. When I asked why, she claimed I had personally requested it extra spicy, which never happened. At that point it became obvious she had rushed through our order and was not listening to anything we were actually asking for. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming the entire time. My mother even went to get napkins from the car because she did not want to "bother" the cashier again due to how rude she was acting. I felt terrible because my son had good intentions bringing me here for Mother's Day, and he honestly felt bad afterward for recommending the restaurant. I appreciated his thoughtfulness, but sadly this experience completely ruined what should have been a nice family meal. I will never return here, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Whether this woman is the owner, a family member, or an employee, management needs to understand that this level of customer service drives people away. Word of mouth matters, and customer service can absolutely ruin a restaurant no matter how good the food may once have been. One star.
