    Lomo Saltado

Food was delicious, service was amazing. I attended this restaurant with a large group of friends and I had the Lomo Saltado. There were no food left on any of of my friends plate because it was so good. 10/10.

The food was actually very delicious, and the presentation was so pretty. I don't think I've ever been served a rice pyramid lol. The meat was very flavorful and my plantains were perfect! I prefer my plantains on the sweeter side and these did not disappoint! I had never had Peruvian beans and while different they were quite delicious! I do recommend them but just keep in mind this place is a little on the pricey side for a small restaurant. Worth it, but pricey. I didn't mind paying I just wasn't expecting the $100 price tag. (Expensive is not a bad thing, but i think you should get a heads up!) Oh I also tried the Inca cola lol and it reminded me of a thumbs up but with a slight after taste worth trying something new!

Excelente el sabor, la atención y una vez más el sabor a Perú Gracias Sabor y Sazón!

I want to start by saying the food was absolutely delicious. However, the prices were OUTRAGEOUS. Don't be deceived by the modest, hole-in-the-wall location--we spent $75, including tip, for just two plates, oh, and there are no refills on their drinks. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, which tasted great, but it only had about seven pieces of steak and cost $27. Initially, we thought these prices were standard for Peruvian cuisine, but after checking out other Peruvian restaurants nearby, we found much lower prices. For example, Peru Cafe Express is highly rated, and their Lomo Saltado is only $17.50 with much more generous portions. I've been to Peru Cafe and def recommend that place over this one. We also got a shrimp soup that was tasty but also priced at $27. While the food was good, the prices and location were insane. If there prices were reasonable at the least I would have given 4 stars.

Second time coming this week, I'm visiting from NY and I've try Peruvian food before, but this one is my top top!! I had the fish croquets and chicken chaufa and the flavor goes beyond amazing. They serve lunch with a small soup. A delicious soup. Definitely coming back

So usually I review the foods in Spring Branch since I was born and raised here. This Peruvian Restaurant is absolutely delicious and stellar beans came with the seco de carne. It's cozy, they had a large fan blowing inside but it kept you cool/comfortable in this Houston weather. It's simple and prices vary from 6-18 dollars but the taste of it is one of a kind. Service was quick and friendly. Just raise your hand and they come to attend you. I would gladly come back here anytime.

After a recent trip to Miami, I've become a fan of Peruvian food. Service is friendly. The prices were average. I got the classic lomo saltado, which tasted like Vietnamese shaken beef. The dessert tasted like a coffee flavored mousse with a nutty taste and drizzle of chocolate on top. Overall, I thought the food was good and look forward to visiting again.

This was our first time trying this place and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, we had Papa a la Huancaina, liked the presentation and taste, the Lomo Saltado was amazing, the meat was tender and fresh, and the Jalea came with a very tasty sarsa of onions, tomatoes and canchita, yumm!! We've gone to several Peruvian restaurants around the Houston area and I am from Lima, this is one of the few places that offers food with a very similar taste to what Peruvian food should taste like, so we're definitely going back!!! While we were there, we also noticed that every table was complementing the staff for the amazing food! Looking forward to trying the estofado, which I haven't had in a long time!!! Congrats and keep up the good work!

If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.

It was a beautiful day, so it would have been the perfect day to eat outside if you like that. I'm an eat indoors kind of person, but if you like to eat outside, they do have a few tables for that. I was meeting a friend for lunch and she suggested Ember & Green. We really couldn't decide what to order, so we decided to order a few things and share them. We started off with the Persian Cucumber Sald. It had Persian cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, red onions, and Kalamata olives with oil and lemon dressing and topped with parsley and feta cheese. Let me tell you, thats lemon dressing was delicious! It went so well with the cucumbers. Next we ordered Blackened salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa, served with charred broccolini, roasted carrots and potatoes on a bed of cilantro green pea quinoa. I'm really not a huge fan of salmon, but I'm trying to like it more by trying it different ways. The spices that they put on the salmon were really good, not too spicy, but also, not bland. It was also cooked perfectly. Oh, and that lemon butter... that lemon butter made the meal if you ask me. It was so good. So good in fact, I had to try and make salmon with lemon butter at him the very next week. Mine didn't come out as good as Ember & Greens, but it was decent. That just means that I need to leave the cooking to the professional. For dessert we decided to share the Skillet Cookie. Its a house made chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with Amy's Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream and chocolate sauce. This was the only thing that we ordered that was a nope. I dont know what happened, but it didn't seem like it was cooked at all in the middle. We took a few bites, that was all we could eat of it. All and all, it was a good experience and I will go back. I'll just skip dessert next time.

I wandered in not expecting much, but my experience here ended up much better than I thought…read more I went with their August prix fixe and went with their Truffle Deviled Eggs, Crispy Sweet & Sour Shrimp, and Key Lime Tart. The deviled eggs make good comfort food and was satisfying. This version doesn't have much of a kick, but it's very creamy and you can definitely taste the truffle oil. The homemade potato chips also add to the texture and salt between bites. The shrimp dish was fun with a light and crispy batter, well-seasoned and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. The cool ranch surprisingly added to the shrimp and enhanced the chili sauce rather than overwhelming it. The made-in-house fries were far better than expected. I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. Fruits tasted like they were on season, even though it should be a bit too late for strawberries. I'm also a sucker for meringue. I'll have to come back to see if it wasn't a fluke, but there were a lot of dishes here that looked good. Maybe even swing by for happy hour, we'll see.
