    Spaghetti with shrimp

Bizarre to go to an Italian restaurant in Mexico, but this one you'll want to make an excuse for. Simple restaurant but the drinks are great (highly recommend the Cosmos) and the food even better. Totally recommend the lasagna (large portion and doused in sauce) and the fettuccine with shrimp and asparagus. I swapped for spaghetti pasta and they did not skimp on the shrimp in the dish. The gnocchi was perfectly pillowy (it's potato not ricotta) and the bolognese added a richness. The chicken parmigiana was massive and delicious as was the fresh fish. We come here every time we visit and we will definitely be back!

The food here was sooooo good! Everything tasted excellent! The food came out surprising fast and the service was top notch. I ordered the shrimp and salmon pasta and it was amazing! So flavorful! Waiters came by to constantly refill glasses of water as soon as your cup was empty. The staff was very attentive. I was really surprised as to how tasty the plates were. And the desserts??? The best apple pie I've ever had, it tasted like it was fresh out of mommas oven lol. Highly recommend this place for the quality of food and the superb service. Will definitely be dining here again when in the mood for some authentic Italian food!

One of our friends told us about this spot. Located in the heart of the tourist district. With lots of Italian to choose from in Cabo, This became our favorite Italian spot in Cabo! The pizza is amazing! The espresso martini was the best I have ever has anywhere! Their Carpaccio is delicious! Sat on the patio and was able to people watch. Service was 5 stars!

It's up there with Romeo y Juliet for the best Italian restaurant in Cabo. The service is hands down A+ as multiple people serve you and in a timely manner. The food is so delicious and it's in a prime spot on restaurant row. I've had lasagna at Salvatore's and Romeo y Juliet but I think la dolce has the best in town. A must visit when in Cabo!

    Tiramisu

Still one of the top Italian restaurants in Cabo. Ceaser salad was on point and the cannelloni and gnocchi were over the top! Don't forget their amazing desserts. Tiramisu and flan finished the meal perfectly. Price is right!

Always a staple in Cabo. Nice setting on the patio. Warm bread is awesome. Menu is traditional. The margarita pizza is thin and crispy but not burnt. I usually have the pollo Parmesan. The atmosphere is Cabo-ish. Not to crazy but the mariachis are frequent.

Love La Dolce. Been eating here for over 15 years. I consider their pizza to be one of the best I've ever had in the world. Pepperoni and serranos are fantastic on a wonderful wood fired crust. We have tried their pasta dishes and haven't ever had a bad one. Shrimp and pasta has been a tad bit fishy on occasion but it's not a solid knock. It can be hot and have tons of flies during the wetter season and late summer. Never a disappointment.

Pizza compares to inexpensive frozen pizza in my opinion. Subpar crust not what I'd ever expect from a restaurant My wife's fish was very fishy and a bit salty My daughters lasagna was the best of our three meals. But not as good as my Moms or mine Our waiter very busy and quick but not to the point of being impatient

This was our favorite dinner spot ! Elegant scenery, efficient service, and amazing food! The waiters are absolutely amazing, fast, courteous and checked on us from afar to make sure we had soda/condiments/dishes out of the way, etc. We visited 2x in 4 days !! Dinner and late lunch !

Came here in 2014, the owner was so nice and welcoming! Came back again for a bachelorette trip and even had the same exact meal I had 9 years ago...still so amazing and delicious! Can't wait to come back again when I visit Cabo, very relaxing and comfy ambiance!

It used to be a LOT better. Not anymore. Now some of the sauce taste processed, I think they use that Mexican cream that comes in a can.

I'm going to preface this review with the fact that I'm not a fan of Italian food. Weird, I know,…read moreeveryone tells me that. My diet also is 99.9% tacos when I'm in Cabo. That said, my fiance is of Italian origins and so when we were highly recommended Romeo y Julieta by frequent visitors of Cabo, we decided to give it a try. This restaurant is nuzzled in between a coffee shop and other businesses, but has a romantic ambience. The parking lot is small and shared with the other businesses, so I'd recommend walking or taking an Uber. We were promptly seated after checking in with the hostess outside. The interior carried the romantic, cozy vibes throughout. There was live music the night we were there, which was nice. Our server greeted us and asked if we wanted bottle water, which of course we did since we don't want tap water. I assumed the shared small bottle of water would be complimentary or at least very cheap (you can get extremely cheap bottled water everywhere), so we were shocked when our bill arrived at they charged us $5 for the one tiny bottle of basic water. I could see if it was sparkling, but not standard water. The plus was the complimentary bread, which was a delicious assortment served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We placed our order of pollo parmigiana and gnocchi di ricotta. My fiance had the parmigiana and really enjoyed it. I had the gnocchi and it had good flavor, the spinach was a nice offset to the rich sauce. The portion for me was fine as I don't eat much, but if my fiance would have ordered the gnocchi he would have left very hungry still. Overall it was a good dinner and a nice ambiance. However, we both agreed we wouldn't return as the other food in Cabo is much better, in our opinion.

We ordered the salad, small pizza for the baby, chicken parm and the veal. The veal was on the salty side and I didn't like it as much. I only went once and probably would not visit again. They had live music and the guitarist played wonderfully. The music was the highlight of our dinner. Definitely try at least once for the atmosphere and their caesar salad. Maybe if we ordered other dishes it would have been a different experience for us.

The pizzas were wood fired and the dough was so chewy and airy. The pasta was al dente and the shrimp was so good. The kids loved the cookies too! A short 10 min taxi from the Westin. It is an extremely small space and they'll pass you multiple times without looking your way so you can call them over. We waited almost 15 minutes before ordering then didn't get our drinks for another 15 minutes (bottled water!!?). My boyfriend ended up going to the counter, which was about 12 feet away from us, and asking for it himself. It took about another 10 minutes before our carpaccio came and I was extremely hangry (sorry @ bf). However, after taking my initial bite, I was ALL SMILES! One of the best carpaccio plates I've ever had in my life. I ate most of it (thanks @ bf). Still, we were more than halfway done with the plate before our pastas came. I got the short rib rigatoni -- the short rib was decent but there were maybe 4 chunks in the entire thing (not huge chunks either) and the rigatoni was a level above al dente. I was not a fan, so bf and I switched pastas. The shrimp scampi fettuccini was OK -- there was actually a good amount of shrimp in it! The pasta was also OK, it just didn't feel like any of the sauce absorbed into it. Pasta was definitely on the thicker side. Overall, would not return. Definitely not worth the price. Might have given 1-2 stars if not for the saving grace: carpaccio. Actually, I guess I would return solely for the carpaccio as both my app and main dish. Highly recommend stopping in for that dish as a mid-day snack or what have you.
