We have been to this hidden gem several times over the past few weeks. The food is Perfection. It's truly like an infomercial. "But wait ... there more!" You will come for the empanadas - which are exquisite. Then you'll stay for dinner. They bring out a simple side salad which has you moaning in pleasure at how delicious it is. Then they bring out your dinner - and conversation stops. Everyone gets lost in the deliciousness before them. And - the wine! To be fair - we've only tried the Malbec. But - why try anything else when this pares perfectly with every dish? Then - atmosphere. When you walk in - you immediately feel like a long lost cousin. When I say they treat you like family - I mean it. I have to remind myself that this is still a public establishment & I need to keep my shoes on & not recline with a book nor nap after eating. read more

My wife and I had the following Empanada's: Spanish Chorizo, Taconda, Fresh Catch, Cuatro Quesos, Spice Beef, Chicken, Bacon Lover, Ham & Cheese. We also had a side of Truffle Frieds I also had a non-alcholic Brooklyn Special Effects. Total bill was about $52. Great value, super great friendly service, and I would recommend this establishment to anyone. If going with a large group, I would encourage calling ahead so that they are prepared since the venue is smaller in nature. I plan to visit this place again since it was soo good. read more

We met our son and girlfriend there for a new experience. It is a jewel in the many restaurants around Dayton. It is so refreshing and well decorated. We had some outstanding appetizers and I was so happy because I came hungry. We all ordered the sampler of meats (split for two) and veggies which also came with two sides and a to die for salad. They offered a papaya dressing which I had never had and it topped the salad perfectly. We had the server and the owner out talking with us. Absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. We eat out a lot, but this was truly the worst food and service. The menu was vague, I asked the server questions several times. She just answered with "I don't know". It was unreal. The food came out, I was with 3 other people. No one liked their food, for two of us it was inedible. Mine had chopped chicken and sauce over a minute rice that was completely unseasoned. At the bottom of the rice was a big piece of romaine lettuce, cooked from the hot rice. Sauce had zero flavor. Husband had steak and sausage. The sausage in a curled up poop shape, and was raw inside. My husband ordered his steak medium rare, a friend ordered his well done. The waitress mixed up the dishes so both guys got the wrong steak. We talked about going next door to the teriyaki place so we could actually eat something. We stopped in here for the first time tonight and it was very good, modern decor on the inside. We were greeted immediately and had very attentive service. We started out with a glass of wine and empanadas, one pork and one chicken, both were very good but I loved the pork. The pork had a lot of flavor with raisins in it as well. My daughter and I shared the ambassador steak (8 oz) with a side of the provincial french fries. The fries with that provincial seasoning (Italian parsley and garlic) were so good! Our table also ordered the Short Rib Flanken Style, flattened out short rib steak that tasted like it was marinated in chimichurri. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate empanada (chocolate, banana and hazelnut) and the warm churro with chocolate, they were both awesome! One of my friends suggested we try this place after leaving the cinema. We met the owner as we walked in, and she is so sweet! She explained their wine, empanadas, meats, etc. We each (3 of us) got 3 empanadas. I got the taconada, Spanish chorizo, and breakfast along with some chimichurri. Delicious empanadas!! I also got the El Presidente steak since it was well-priced ($25 for 12 oz). I ordered it well done, and the cook was perfect! It was neither too pink or burnt and had plenty of juiciness left. I sprinkled a little lemon on top along with some of the spiced orange marmalade (not a combination I would have thought of but amazing) provided, and it was some of the best steak I've ever had! The service was overall excellent! The owner and waitress we spoke with were super polite and helpful. Lastly, the ambiance was very cozy and cute. I especially enjoyed the llama (or was it alpacas) picture in the women's restroom. Overall, this restaurant is a 10 out of 10! I will definitely return. read more

Made Valentines Day reservations and every aspect was phenomenal. Our drinks, appetizers, and main course were fantastic. We enjoyed a dessert to complete the experience. My husband and I tried La Embajada for our Date Night this weekend. We found it on Google, and it looked delicious (plus I love Argentinian food, since I am from New York). We shared the Meat Sampler which came with two salads and two sides. Absolutley delicious! It was fresh, the meat was cooked great and filled us both up. First time coming here and they did not disappoint. The owner is a super sweet older lady and was telling us that she is bringing in her personal china from home for the Mothers Day lunch and dinner. I also love the little seating area and the games they have that the kiddos could use. My only minor feedback is that they have limited side dishes that come with the food. They basically have fries and mashed potatoes. A salad comes with the main course. Maybe a veggie option would be nice. Besides that all was good. We will come back again. read more

We were greeted by the charming and delightful owner, who explained her concept and highlights of the menu. The decor and atmosphere had a clean, classic vibe, and the restuarnant was spotless. About the food - WOW. My friend had the Beef Milanese, which was cooked perfectly, and not dry or greasy as this dish could sometimes be. His mashed potatoes were creamy and rich. My steak was cooked to perfection - rare on the inside, with a nice char on the outside. The side salads were just the right side, with an interesting spinkle of potato straws as a garnish. We had no room left for desert, so next time (and there will definitely be a next time) we'll have to plan on it. Although we didn't try any empanadas, the huge selection gives options for any palate. That's our goal for the next visit - empanadas and dessert! read more

La Embajada is such a cute little place. I didn't have the chance to dine in, but their food was DELICIOUS. I got my husband a steak, and I tried a bunch of empanadas. My personal favorite was the pernil version. They were all so flavorful and had a great proportion of filling to dough. I can't wait to go back and try more items off of their menu. This place was shockingly great. Apparently it's been open since July 2022, and I have no idea how we've never heard of it. The vibe inside is relaxed, quiet and eclectic. The owner came out and spoke with us. She was wonderful, as was our server. With all that, we had high hopes for the food and they did not disappoint. The empanadas were delicious! My wife and I stopped by and tried a series of empanadas. I'm Cuban, but I have a special place on my heart for Argentinian food. The empanadas had a perfect crust, the meat inside was savory, the sauces were also very delicious. As for dinner their steak is seasoned to perfection. My family likes the varied menu with many choices, all of them authentic Argentinian and very well prepared. The owner is always present and seems committed to providing a good experience. First time trying this Argentinian restaurant. They have a lot of different empanadas which were very tasty. I had the beef, chicken and steak with the garlic sauce. The sauces are an extra cost. I think you get 3 for around $12. The entrees were good but the portions are very small for the price you pay. We got a chicken skewer and beef rib. You do get a salad though. The server and owner was nice. Food takes a bit of time to get out. The chocolate/banana empanada was delicious but not very big. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated but I feel like they need to play some dinner music. read more
