She said she used to cook st a Thai restaurant in Irvine before opening this place. I noticed other customers approaching staff directly for assistance, so I eventually did the same. The employee behind the counter selected four beautiful salmon steaks for me. However, while packaging them, the bag split open and all four steaks fell onto the floor. The employee quickly picked them up and took them back behind the counter. It appeared that he attempted to rinse them off and package them to sell to me anyway. When he brought them back, I asked, "Didn't those salmon steaks just hit the floor? Could you please get me four new ones?" His response, said quietly under his breath, was, "Oh, you saw that." He then selected four replacement steaks, weighed them, and labeled them for purchase. I was very disappointed that anyone would attempt to sell food that had fallen on the floor. That experience left a very negative impression and made me question the seafood department's food handling practices. The rest of my shopping experience was fine, and the highlight of my visit was one of the restaurants inside the store--a boba and milk tea shop. The service there was excellent, and I had one of the best yogurt and pumpkin milk teas I've ever tasted. That positive experience is the reason I'm giving three stars instead of one. I'll likely avoid purchasing seafood here in the future, but I would definitely return to visit the shops and restaurants inside the store.

I called the towing company listed on the sign, and they said this market called them and signed paperwork to have my car towed and gave me some BS reason saying that my car had been parked there for more than one hour. There is NO signage that says one hour parking. The signs in this lot say "Customer's Only" and "No Overnight Parking." Apparently someone working here thinks they're some sort of parking police and the entire parking lot belongs to them to power trip and inconvenience people supporting local businesses in the complex. Absolutely infuriating that I had to waste 3 hours to get my car back, which was towed for no reason. I have parked here several times for tattoo appointments and have not had an issue until yesterday, (02/08/2026). Thankfully my tattoo artist was understanding and waited for me to get it resolved before staying late to finish my tattoo. Edit: The business owner replied to my review, however that contradicts what the towing company said over the phone when I called them and asked why they're towing my car when I'm a customer in a business near the area I parked. They said someone first noticed my car at 3 pm, and then called the tow around 5 pm. What made the situation even more upsetting was that after refusing to serve us, the cashier immediately rang up the customer behind us. If the store was truly closed, why were other customers still being checked out? The entire interaction felt targeted, disrespectful, and humiliating. While I cannot know the cashier's intentions, being denied service while another customer was served moments later left my friends and me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Rather than argue, I left all of my items behind and walked out. I have shopped at 99 Ranch for years and never expected to experience something like this. I hope management reviews the surveillance footage and register activity from Register 14 around 9:00 PM on June 6, 2026, and addresses why customers were falsely told the store was closed while others continued to receive service.
