    Hidden GEM!! I live in LAKEWOOD,CA I was in the Santa Ana area for a high school baseball game. In my area I have tried so many panaderia's and they are all an EPIC FAIL. Finally I found one of the best authentic REAL MEXICAN PANADERIA's I was in HEAVEN! My FAVORITE was the HUGE CONCHA I ate in my car and devoured it. I went back inside to buy some more and they were all GONE. The nice Latina lady told me those are the ones that sell out first. They have other breads and sweet goodies that you may want to try. But if you want to try a bread that MELTS in your mouth the bigger CONCHA will leave you SPEECHLESS!! The inside of the panaderia is SUPER CLEAN and the staff is also SUPER friendly.

    Cakes are so delicious! Ordered a tres leches for 2 birthdays now and they were both a big hit. Great service and fun options.

    I thought their pan dulce was very good! Large variety and so cheap - we got a bunch of things for $11! I am not sure what the cake slice I had was but it was so good and had a light lemon flavor. Everything was good but that was for sure my favorite item.

    The bakery has delicious bread. I love their mini conchas for 0.60 cents and bollios 3 for a $1. They don't accept eBT SNAP for food though.

    I don't really leave reviews but let me tell y'all this panadería is so good!! I usually go in the mornings and get a mixed variety. Must haves for sure are the croissants, bolillos, and concha's. 10/10. Soft, warm, fresh, and delicious. The service is quick and fast and it's all affordable. Definitely recommend.

    I saw a friend come here for pan dulce and rave about it, so I had to give it a try. Especially since I was having a concha craving. It did not disappoint! I had a hard time picking what to choose as my plan was to only get a concha and bolillos. Which then turned into a second concha, churro, and chocolate chip cookie. I did refrain from buying more cause I totally could've have bought like 20 items LOL. Everything tasted so good!! And the bolillos are so huge there's leftovers. {enter happy food dance}

    Best pan dulces, just moved to OC so I was looking for a good place to grab Mexican pan dulce and I finally found it. I will be coming often.

    A missed spelled cake .

    Please tell me how do you sell cakes and can't write happy birthday correctly ? I could have done it better and could have done a better writing and I hope this cake is actually 3 leches and strawberries inside and not dry either . Very disappointed on the presentation of this cake .Not only that the lady was rude they have bad customer service. This cake was $42 dollars Will I return maybe but not to buy cakes from there . The bread is not the same either over the years this bakery has changed don't know if it's the same owners but yeah I should have just gone to Albertsons.

    Beautiful cakes!

    The conchas were dry. I bought $16 worth of pan dulce and only 2 of about a dozen breads were good. Such a disappointment. :(

The chocolate was so rich and the perfect sweetness 3. monkey bread crossiant: 10/10 a pleasant surprise! sticky, sweet, crispy, with such a yummy texture 2. ube croffin: 10/10 the ube cream inside the croffin and the toasted vanilla cream on top were made so well, perfectly sweet and fluffy, both ube and vanilla flavors strong and prominent, the texture of the bread was airy and had a great chew 1. Croque Moniseur Crossiant sandwhich. 11/10 best bite! Loaded with flavor! There was a generous amount of meat and sauce. The jalapeños added a good level of spice and pickle. A filling and very worth it item!!! The staff were all friendly and the wait on a Saturday morning at 9:30AM was not too bad just 20 mins. Beware it is street parking! This is definitely my new favorite pastry spot. I need to go back to try different pastries very very soon!

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.
