We come here a lot to get food. Mostly via drive thru. The staff is usually friendly and the food is pretty decent. Sometimes the chicken can be a bit overcooked but most times it's fine. The inside is just casual nothing fancy.

As a latina I just don't approve. Everything tastes like soy sauce, I got the pork and the steak.

Service was wonderful, our server was friendly and answered all of our silly questions and didn't laugh at us when we butchered the words of the ingredients in dishes. She checked on us often and provided suggestions to make sure we got plates we would enjoy. The cocktail menu.....wow! It was so beautiful visually and the drinks came out looking just like the photos! They tasted great too! It's apparent that time and care went into every decision on this menu. As for food, we started with the croquettes. They came four to an order and it was the perfect amount of food to hold us over until our entrees came. Our entrees came out and we were both surprised by the portions! I got the Chaufa Charapa and it came in a beautiful stone bowl. The portion was huge, it just kept going and going! My friend got salmon and it was the biggest piece of salmon i've seen served at a restaurant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had leftovers to take home. Overall we were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Pisco Peruvian and can't wait to return!

This visit was no exception -- the food was genuinely excellent. That said, the business model is starting to feel aggressive. Every interaction is an upsell opportunity, and you quickly realize you're on high alert the entire meal, almost battling the server at every turn just to avoid quietly running up the bill. It starts the moment you sit down: "Is bottled water okay?" -- which, of course, is an upcharge. When we ordered Pisco Sours, instead of just bringing the standard version, the server recommended the Peruvian one, about $5 more. For starters, my wife wanted a chicken dish, but the server suggested a beef dish, mentioning it could be made with chicken instead. The catch: there was no price reduction for swapping to chicken, leaving us paying $12 more than the original chicken dish would have cost. I had the Lomo Saltado, which was fantastic, and asked for fries instead of the yellow potatoes. I don't mind an upcharge -- but it would have been nice to be told upfront. A simple "there's a small upcharge for that" would have been fine. They also take photos of you at the table, which is pleasant enough on its own, but by then you're conditioned to wonder what it's going to cost. When the check arrived, an 18% gratuity had already been added, with the option to tip more on top. We declined to add extra. The food really is excellent, and we may go back for that reason alone. But be prepared to stay on your toes -- every choice seems designed to nudge the bill higher, and you'll spend the meal defending your wallet rather than relaxing into it.

Wow!!! This place was amazing!!…read more It was a first time visit for us, and this restaurant is located in a well-lit shopping strip on Narcoossee, just a few minutes from the 528. This place was a vibe, so much so that we are actually supposed to go to a neighboring restaurant last night; however after driving past this place, we had to change our plans. The food was exceptional. Between my wife and I, we split 1 entree and shared an appetizer. My wife isn't very adventurous when it comes to eating but for whatever reason caved in when the server suggested their octopus as an appetizer. That appetizer was super unique!! It was basically this extremely thin octopus swimming in this very delicate layer of ceviche, with an accompanying side of wantons. For our entree we ordered the Rissoto with braised beef. This was most excellent with a very flavorful 8-hour slow cooked beef with a sweet flavor, whose flavors were contrasted by the very amazing rissoto. I initially ordered a Coke, but ended up trying their Peruvian crème soda which was maybe the best crème soda I'd ever tried! My wife ordered a sweet rum that was red and had this awesome smoke bubble on it as it was presented to the table. Our server, Gabriela (Gabi) was very friendly and most assistive and patient as we asked a few more questions than normal as we'd never tried Peruvian food before. She was pretty attentive to our table and remained kind and professional. We were so happy last night after our dinner that we went ahead and booked our daughter's 18th birthday dinner here for early March when we'll bring 18 of our relatives from out of town back here to enjoy what we did last night. Great great find!! Cannot wait to go back!

Drinks during happy hour, lunch, or dinner are always a win & the espresso martini is great! First time trying the duck and it was so good, I even took some home. The shrimp salad? Spectacular (I may be biased, I love salads & shrimp). Service is always attentive and friendly. A bit pricey, but always worth it.

There were only a few other parties seated, but it could've been the early afternoon hour we chose. Sitting outside would definitely be nice, but this was a day where Florida had yet to acknowledge that fall is here. Our waitress was attentive and kind, especially considering my two coworkers both had severe allergies. I ordered the fettuccine with the peruvian style huancaina sauce and chicken. Absolutely delicious! My coworkers had the lomo saltado and a ceviche bowl, both of which I'm told were delightful. Will definitely be back! Unfortunately, it may be priced out of my frequent favorites, but it would be a great special occasion location.

I was invited by some relatives for late lunch and even at 2pm, the place was packed so I already knew it had to be good. As far as food goes, the servers were friendly enough to help me navigate the menu and land on the seafood options. I had the Arroz con Mariscos and it was presented beautifully, was sizable, and most importantly had incredible flavor. The calamari was a highlight of the dish. It was cooked perfectly. My family enjoyed their food as well and cleared their plates. Though I can't recall what they ordered, I know it was delicious. I stole bites. The plantain side dish also stands out in my mind as a must! I don't live particularly close by and it was a hike coming out but I have it book marked for a future pop in!
