They now started selling it by the jar to take home! We started with calamari and mozzarella sticks, for the main, my husband always orders the tortellini di leo and I had the carbonara. All of the dishes were so flavorful and portions are large. One thing to note is that they don't take reservations, so expect a wait if you go around their peak dinner time (around 6pm). Worth the wait though!

Very old-world-Italian-esque. We got seated in a nice corner and got started. I started off with an order of Bruschetta (Toasted bread topped with marinated tomatoes, garlic, basil & a sprinkle of shredded Parmesan) for the table. These were the best I've ever had. Nice, thicc chunks of toast that were actual toast and not just crackers. Also, the pieces of tomato were multicolored and very well coated with that garlic, basil, and Parm. Seriously, the best I've had. Very good stuff. For my main, I had the Veal and Shrimp Parmesan (A classic surf and turf: Breaded shrimp & veal, lightly fried, topped with marinara and baked with melted mozzarella). Wow. This thing was a spectacle. The veal and shrimps were very well pounded thin and very nicely coated with a seasoned breadcrumb mixture. Fried crispy, tasty marinara, tasty melted mozz. Just another great dish. Overall, if you specialize in national chain Italian places, definitely step outside of your comfort zone and come to mom 'n' pop places like this. The quality different is astounding. I loved it here. I'd come back.

Time to update my review from 6 years ago…read more Seasons 52 is a chain restaurant, as most people know, but I enjoy the fact they switch up their menus seasonally (hence the name). We recently made reservations to celebrate our son's and fiancee's engagement. The service was very good -thanks to Chad- in spite of a very busy Friday night, and also surprising because the four of us each received a champagne flute with a couple ounces of the bubbly, courtesy of a manger, to hep us celebrate! Of course the dark wood accents, the booths for a little more intimacy, and fires (real and video) really enhanced our enjoyment of the night. We selected flatbreads, entrees, a starter and a side for our meals. My Lump Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Mushroom started my night right with a wonderful crunchy combo kept hot in the little iron pan. I found that the Chipotle BBQ shrimp flatbread toppings complemented well, with the spice and heat of the poblano peppers mixing with the sweet acidity of the pineapple. My 3 ounce pour of the Côte Mas 'Rosé Aurore' from France provided a mellow yet slightly sweet taste that paired well with my seafood. We finished off with the mini desserts which our son and his fiancée thoroughly enjoyed, and I orders a cappuccino that tasted lovely and hit the spot. Seasons 52 showed their best for us tonight, and it was a very enjoyable night as a result.

I found City Buffet on Yelp, and it looked like it would meet our needs. The building is a little strange because it looks like a barn -- not the kind of building you would associate with Asian food. The landscaping is also not well maintained, which makes the place look neglected. My daughter said she had passed by it many times and assumed it had gone out of business. Happily, the inside looked much better. There was a mural of the Great Wall of China along one wall, along with chandeliers and colorful lighting. The hibachi station runs along one side of the room, while the buffet bars are located in the center. City Buffet was on par with pretty much every other Asian buffet I have eaten at. Cold foods included salads, sushi, seafood, and peel-and-eat shrimp. The hot food selection offered a good variety of hibachi items, fried favorites, and a mix of chicken, seafood, noodles, vegetables, and other dishes. Standouts for us included the dumplings, green beans, seafood bake, crab Rangoon, and coconut shrimp. They also offer a selection of soups if you're in the mood for something lighter. Dessert had plenty of options too: fresh fruit, Jell-O, pudding, small cake slices, and ice cream. One thing I really appreciated was that the ice cream comes in individual pre-packaged cups and bars, which is much more hygienic than the typical buffet setup. Unfortunately, the first ice cream bar we opened had clearly melted previously, but the others we sampled were fine. We all really liked the coffee-flavored cake, which tasted similar to tiramisu. Service was prompt -- almost too prompt. They were lifting plates out from under me as I was raising my fork to my mouth. A couple of times, they took plates before I had even finished with them. The strangest thing about City Buffet was the overwhelming and off putting smell of cabbage in the restrooms. I was very puzzled by what was going on with that. Overall, I would say your enjoyment of City Buffet depends on how much you enjoy this kind of buffet. My family does, so I am rounding up from 3.5 to 4 stars.

You order at the register and receive a number to bring back to your table, where a runner will bring by focaccia, olive oil, and an herb blend. Our food came out within 10 minutes and was absolutely delightful! Even with my no-goat-cheese modification, my chicken menichino was so tasty and perfectly seasoned. I also tried a glass of their Gavi di Gavi, which was such an excellent complement to my meal. My partner tried the daily special, a beef brass to, and was blown away by the tenderness of the beef and the large portion size. We were too full to get a dessert to share in-house, but we stopped by the dessert counter and received amazing to-go recommendations, which is how we ended up with tiramisu, a lemon ricotta cookie, a snicker doodle, an espresso cookie, and a slice of cake. (We'll be back to try the gelato!) And, on my out, I spotted a family-friendly detail I didn't expect - a changing table in the restroom stocked with diapers of all sizes and wipes! What a wonderful touch. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant. Everyone we spoke to was kind and incredibly efficient at their jobs, providing quick, welcoming service and great food recs. The food was delicious and well-portioned. I'll be back to check out the happy hour!

Must try: Calamari appetizer, ribeye, beef Wellington, lobster mac and cheese, potato au gratin,…read moreand mandarin cake. These were absolutely amazing and much too much food for two people. I basically got 3 meals out of my ribeye and lobster mac. The calamari was crispy and tender. The bread was so fluffy and delicious. We had to restrain ourselves from eating multiple loaves of bread before the entrees even hit the table. Lobster Mac was FILLED with lobster. Both side dishes were cheesy and seasoned so well. My boyfriend raved about the beef Wellington, he claims it may be the best Wellington and sauce, he's ever had. Special recognition: topping your protein entree the Oscar Style. Lump crab meat, hollandaise, and asparagus....this was utterly amazing and decadent. Still delicious but not on the same level as the must tries listed above: mandarin collar, dirty martini, caesar salad. Caesar salad was just a plate of greens, nothing noticeably remarkable about the dressing or seasoning. The garlic cheese croutons were fun but there were only 4 croutons. We would probably pass on the salad next time. Both cocktails were well-made! Service was fantastic. From the moment we walked in to the end of our meal. I believe our server's name was Jerry and the back server packed our food with more precision than I've ever seen anywhere else. Sebastian the magician started off the night perfectly. He was entertaining and personable. We came here for our anniversary and it was perfect. The mouthwatering mandarin cake was courtesy of the house. Prices on the menu may look high but for the quality, quantity, and dining experience...it's well worth it. The two of us ordered 1app, 2 sides, 2 entrees, 3 drinks, 1 salad, 1 dessert, and had 2 loaves of bread. It was easily 3 meals' worth of food. Can't wait to come back to Christener's!

Let me start by saying that I really, really was hoping to love it here. I've read many positive…read moreremarks and have friends who dined here in the past who had nothing but good things to say. Additionally, it was recommended heavily on a foodie forum I am a member of on Facebook. With all that being said, it was, to our surprise, a huge disappointment. Prior to going, I read quite a few reviews that mentioned the service was either poor or slow but the food made up for it by being outstanding, so that ultimately is what convinced me to keep my reservation. Not only did the service leave much to be desired, but the food did as well. Upon entering the building, the interior of the restaurant gave off old school, classic steakhouse vibes and instantly reminded me of Golden Steer in Las Vegas (iykyk). Sadly, comparing Christner's to the Golden Steer's vintage charm was my first mistake. Thinking the food might be up to par with theirs was my second. The service was lackluster and nothing to write home about, as was the food. I had notified the restaurant ahead of time that we were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and absolutely nothing significant was offered at all to acknowledge our special occasion besides "happy anniversary". But sadly, the food quality was the biggest let down of the evening. The bread was nothing special, the calamari was soggy, my crab cakes were mushy and tasteless, the chateau potatoes very under salted, and my husband's beef Wellington left much to be desired (no golden crust, meat to pastry ratio was off, and it was very rare). The only decent dish we had were the onion rings, but the fact that the sauce it was served with was ketchup, we thought was an odd choice. Needless to say we declined trying anything from the dessert menu as we were worried we would be met with yet another disappointment. While this wasn't the worst dining experience we've ever had, it certainly fell short, didn't live up to expectations and felt severely overpriced for the food quality that you receive. In the middle of our dining experience, we shared a mutual admission that we wished we had chosen somewhere else we had known we loved, like Kres Chophouse or Christini's to celebrate instead. While we appreciate trying new dining experiences, this one simply missed the mark for us and we likely won't be back.
