Very Good fast Food We had a business meeting where they catered the lunch. 1/4 chicken with black beans and rice. They gave us plantains and chopped onions. Very good value.

The chicken they gave me was weird Like look like they put some Animal part in there that looks so nasty

So my younger brother recently moved close to the Hardrock, and we have been on the hunt for decent places close to him. This place totally fits the bill. I actually liked it enough that I intend to visit the location closer to me! The bottom line here is that you are paying really reasonable prices and getting large quantities of fresh food. It's very similar in pricing to Pollo Tropical, but I feel like you are getting more food! Service here was prompt and friendly. All of the side sauces they offered were tasty! Definitely feel like this is a fresh affordable place to eat out with the family, and the place is so laid back you don't have to worry if young kids get noisy.

La Granja is 3 star, A-OK ranking for me. In summary; nothing to complain about, nothing to be blown away by. I was working close by for a few days with an ex Broward County guy who loved La Granja and had great memories of it. He compared it to Pollo Tropical, which I happen to love. For me La Graja is not as good as Pollo, however they are in the same class and serve similar food. La Granja is a decent place for a lunch or dinner. The chicken was good, the steak was good ... and really what else can you ask for besides good, decent and reliable food. The service was fine. The atmosphere was a bit of a factory for meals when I was in during two busy lunch times in a row. La Granja really cranked out food for a large lunch crowd the two times I was there. Hats off for delivering the goods.

Five dollar lunch special. Chicken breast and wing, black beans and rice.

I love getting deals, and a five dollar lunch that brings the protein is a great value for me. So, I headed over to La Granja to give their lunch deal a shot, and I am glad I did. I will be honest, I almost didn't go in. I arrived a few minutes before they opened, and no one was there. I thought I would do my usual swoop in and get out before the lunch crowd arrived, but alas, the crowd started arriving before they opened the doors. Next thing I knew, there were ten people practically pressing their noses against the glass. It kind of reminded me of the Walking Dead. I sat in my car for a moment to gather my thoughts. I squeezed my steering wheel and thought to myself, "Do I really want to go toe to toe with the lunch zombies? Can I do this today?" At that moment, someone opened the doors and they all filed inside. I could see through the glass that there was plenty of room, so I sat there for another couple minutes to give everyone a chance to order. Then I noticed more zombies showing up, so I stopped thinking and jumped out of my car and bolted for the door. I was taking no prisoners. I was going in, and I was going to get that five dollar lunch special, and I was going to get some sauce too. Oh yes, I was NOT going to let some lunch zombies steal my joy of a good deal. I got to the counter, and placed my order. I asked for the five dollar lunch special and the server knew exactly what I was asking for. He took my five dollars (and some change after tax) and handed me my receipt. Out of the corner of my eye, I spied the sauce station and made a break for it. By some miracle, no one was there. All of the zombies had found tables and were patiently waiting for their food. Well, some zombies were hovering near the cash register. I would not be deterred. I sampled the red sauce first. Wow, nice kick, but not today. I sampled the white sauce. Oh, garlicky-works for vampires, maybe zombies too? Hmmm...maybe? Then the green, Nope, reminds me of zombies too much, maybe next time. I filled a couple containers with the white sauce, and just as I was putting the lid on several lunch zombies began to hover near the sauce station. It was time for me to make a break back over to the counter area so I could retrieve my five dollar lunch special. Would I make it? As I approached the lunch counter, several zombies were lingering around. I was thinking that NOW would be a good time for them to call my number. Please call my number! Do it! Say it! "Number 9!" Please say the number! And then it happened. Number 9 was called and I swooped in and grabbed my five dollar lunch special and headed for the door. As I pulled away, I didn't notice any zombies in pursuit. I was safely on my way back to the cave, or well, office. When I made it to my desk, I opened my five dollar lunch special to find a nice piece of chicken. It was half a breast and a wing. "Wow," I thought. "White meat even?" Actually, I prefer the dark because it's juicier, but I was impressed that the deal came with white, which is normally more expensive. Plus, I had that sauce, and it worked great on the chicken. Also, I was able to get more protein in the white meat, so I was set. They had a huge cup of black beans and some white rice to eat with it. I may not enjoy lunch zombies, but I love getting great deals!

Steak combo, I always get fried yucca instead of plantains.

I love La Granja for a few reasons, but most notably the sauce!! Their sauces are the stuff dreams are made of. I used to eat La Granja about once a week, until I decided that that much rice in one sitting wasn't sitting well with me. I know lots of people who can make a La Granja meal in to two meals, but not me...once I start with those delicious sauces I just can't make myself stop. My go to meal is the steak with rice and beans, I sub out the plantains for fried yuca...and then smoother the whole plate in the white/yellow sauce and the green sauce. I believe the white/yellow is supposed to be a mild garlic sauce, and the green has hints of lime and garlic. I skip the spicy red sauce, but that one is good too. If you're looking for cheap, then stick to the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans, plantains and a soda for ~$5. If you're looking for authentic Peruvian flavors (think Chinese food mixed with Spanish food) try one of their mixed seafood rices. The only reason I don't get that dish often is because adding sauce really isn't necessary and I really do have a sauce obsession here. Take-out is the way to go here, and the fact that they added servers (inefficient servers) if you choose to eat in annoys me.

The staff is very welcoming the minute you walk in and explains the special(s) that might be happening at the time. If you arrive during their Lunch Special, I recommend doing it as you get an appetizer, entrée and a drink with your order. Certain items are excluded from this special but it is noted on the menu. I was luck to arrive during to lunch special which I ordered Papa a la Huancaina. This yellow, creamy sauce over potatoes had so much flavor and the right amount of heat that I was scrapping every drop sauce off the plate before handing it over. For my entree, I ordered the Linguini a la Huancaina w/ chicken. This overall dish was super delicious. The chicken is flatten when cooked and the pasta to Huancaina sauce portions are perfect for each bite. Ceviche was order by my co works order which I recommend everyone to try at least once at Peruvian restaurant. For someone who is not a fan of fish or certain seafood, Peruvian ceviche is made a certain way to mask that fishy/ seafood flavor. You get this acidic, yummy bite from lime juice and onions that are included. I do recommend bringing some kind of jacket or coverup because the inside of the restaurant was very nice but extremely cold. I saw many parties chose to sit outside after being sat inside due to the temperature. Also the bathroom location, there is a hallway near the bar you will need to walk down to get to it. Smells like fresh limes walking down the hallway and is very clean but can be a tad confusing looking for it generally.

When we first arrived, our waiter completely forgot about us and another waiter had to step in and help. My husband ordered a seafood soup, and the waiter's assistant brought it out... but with no spoon. We waited about 5 minutes before she came back with a tiny dessert spoon for a seafood soup I asked the hostess if we could please get a proper spoon. She kept walking in and out until finally she told us that all the spoons in the restaurant were occupied and we had to wait. Meanwhile the soup had already been sitting there for over 10 minutes getting cold. At the end, Alejandro the only person actually trying to help finally went and found a spoon himself. By then my husband didn't even want the soup anymore. Our original waiter finally came back and asked if we wanted him to reheat the soup ‍ My husband said no, please just take it away and bring the check. Then the waiter says, "Look, I removed the soup from the bill," as if that fixed the situation The saddest part is that no manager ever came over, nothing. Everyone acted like this was completely normal. The only person who genuinely tried to resolve the situation was Alejandro.

I especially loved that fresh lime taste; it made the dish feel so vibrant. My friends ordered a few different entrées, and I got to try a little bit of everything. Everything looked amazing, but I especially loved the shrimp risotto. For dessert, the maracuyá cheesecake was completely out of this world--so divine. It paired perfectly with an Americano coffee and was the perfect way to end the meal. The one disappointment for me was the sangria. I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! This establishment has been Tamied™.

I would definitely recommend the poyoroki or the Lomo Saltado! Friendly waiter and staff, they told us about some fun events they have on weekends. Nice drink menu too with lots of options

I felt compelled to leave this review because my experience was extremely disappointing--from the…read moreservice and ambiance to the food itself. I'm a big foodie and don't mind paying top dollar for a great meal, especially when it comes to Peruvian cuisine, which is one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately, this place fell far short. The service lacked attention to detail from the start. We were given a tablet for the menu, but the first one didn't work. When we finally got a functioning one, it was difficult to navigate and honestly made the experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. The space is also very cramped. We had a stroller, and while arriving wasn't too bad since some tables were empty, leaving was a nightmare. No one offered assistance or made any effort to help us navigate out with a child. It felt unwelcoming and inconsiderate. As for the food, it was not worth the $126 bill. We ordered a ceviche and a chaufa. The chaufa was overly greasy and didn't seem properly prepared. We requested shrimp and fish but were only given fish - and were charged an additional $9 for it. On top of that, our drinks arrived last, and I had to repeatedly ask for water and even a spoon so I could feed my baby some rice. I felt bad doing so because the food was simply not good. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend it. Save your money and go somewhere else.
