Received a single empanada (even tho it shows 2 online), kids cafeteria looking chicken finger meal and the cake. Chicken wrap was missing completely but the 3 sauces for it were delivered. Chicken fingers included cold soggy fries that had a couple pieces of tomato and lettuce on it. So that tells me they definitely were not fresh. The empanada was just ok very onion heavy. I had lunch at La Granja and ordered the fish sandwich with fries--it was fantastic! The fish was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned perfectly, served on a fresh, soft bun with crisp lettuce, tomatoes with purple onions- chef's kisses. The fries were golden, hot, and just the right amount of salty. Dining in was a great choice, as the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. This is a very special place we frequent here quite often for many years. Tonight I switched it up and had something I've never had, the lemon garlic seafood dish with fresh fish, mussels, scallops and shrimp. The lemon garlic sauce was smooth and flavorful. My husband had the new steak, vegetables and noodles in a light brown sauce. They have a decent deal for certain platters. Quality of food is good and I've never had bad food. Only thing lacking is that I find the service to not be helpful or as friendly. WHERE IS THE OWNER?! Is this a corporation? I gave them 2 stars because the food was good and service was ok. They were helpful when it cane to fixing mistakes. But from the moment you walk in, the place is filthy. The majority of the tables were dirty, but the staff was watching world cup on their phone while taking an order... The floor is dirty, there is actually holes inside the restaurant! The floor needs to some painting or something because it looks dirty, and not to mention that there was food and debris all over it, why the staff is not attwntive to those details. On your way to the bathroom there was an open box on the floor instead of being on the trash, the lights on top filled with dust and basically the whole place needs to be re modeled. The color just throws you off. The corner where you get sauces was dirty and unorganized. One thing about the Granja is that the food doesn't dissapoint and i did peak over the kitchen and it "looked clean" for the most part. Bathrooms were a bit dirty, papers all over the place and toilet sit was dirty, and hall towards bathroon floor was dirty. Staff could definitely be more friendly and offer more stuff instead of saying is that it? I have 4 ppl standing next to me... one order its not gone feed everyone, don't ask is that it? Ask what else i can get for you? I'm a big fan of the Granja, my son loves la granja, he could eat that EVERYDAY, the one on pines blvd and flamingo BY FAR sets the expectations and have the bar so up high that you expect every other Granja to follow. I did go to one Granja in Orlabdo that recently open and it was great as well! You guys can read on previous comments. Ultimately whoever is running or in charge of this restaurant its slacking and needs to pay more attention to details, they are right in front of you, you don't have to dig to find this things. Love that there is a La Granja in Wellington area! It's at the mall but not in the mall-- genius! Twas looking for a good, quick meal on a Sunday evening and stopped in. This location also has a drive thru if so needed. We ended up going with the Family Deal- 1/2 chicken, 1/2 steak and 1/2 pork; also comes with a large rice and beans on the side and 4 drinks. The chicken was cooked to perfection and it blew all the other meat options in the deal right out the park... Could not be happier about the many locations popping up everywhere! First time coming here and it was a 50/50 for my family and I; I got a huge takeout order and some of the juices from the dishes were spilling inside the bag, they aren't experienced with packing a big order. The lady there was cleaning it and replacing the bags while I was checking my order to make sure it was all correct. I would highly recommend boxes to transport this amount of food (this is what I ended up doing to take this to my parents house). I also noticed that they have their spices bar open; with Covid, I feel this is very irresponsible, no one should be able to serve themselves the sauces due to cross contamination; would recommend them pre-packaging the sauces so people can ask for them on the front counter. My husband wasn't very thrilled with their chicken- it tasted dry. I had the arroz chaufa and it's pretty soiled in grease, I liked it but I wasn't too crazy about it. My brother had the pescado a lo macho and he really enjoyed it! My family had the jalea, nothing too crazy it was eh ok. We also ordered lomo saltado and that was actually pretty good! And lastly, I ordered tres leches which was good and one pionono which was actually pretty dry.... something else I noticed is they don't seem to put when they make it and when it expires on. People there are friendly, many Peruvians working there (makes sense) but most of them don't speak English at all!!! I am bi-lingual but it does make me pretty upset that if my husband were to go alone they wouldn't understand him, and that's upsetting! Simple good, food! We've been to several locations and the food is consistently good. The chicken is well seasoned, not salty. The seafood soup is tasty with a light coconut flavor. The yellow rice is fluffy and not mushy. Their grilled pork and steak can be dry at times so stick to the chicken. Their dining area is open, cafeteria style. Ordering and pick up is done at counter. The BEST part about eating their food are the SAUCES! Made fresh and addictive. I would eat their napkins as long as it is dipped in their sauce. They have 4 versions, I believe, the white sauce being the best in my opinion. There is also orange/reddish sauce, and green sauce. Vinegar, cream, garlic, tobasco, onion bases. All good. You know when you get so much food at a restaurant you kind of feel as if you should not complain about the quality? Yeah, that is my experience with La Granja (recently opened in Wellington.) I ordered the steak fajitas to go for $10.50 + tax. The wait time was very fast and the containers were packaged neatly. The quantity of the food was generous but the quality was a bit lacking. My steak strips were over cooked and cut into very large pieces that easily ripped my soggy and somewhat flavorless tortillas. The bed of onions were cooked well but they seemed to be coated in a soy sauce like substance as they were too salty. The side of yellow rice and black beans was pretty flavorless as well. I was most disappointed in the "salsa" choices. They seemed to have good flavor but they were displayed poorly and visually were unappealing. A few of the salsas were creamy and when asked what was in them, the answer came back as "mayo". I admit that I am not a guacamole fan but this guacamole was full of mayo as well and had a strong aftertaste. The texture was also completely blended and it came out mor elike a sauce and less like a thick guacamole. I was not impressed with the quality of my meal but I will go back to try the chicken some day as it smelled incredible. Overall: I still prefer Pollo. read more

They Also bring in a variety if authentic homemade desserts. they now also sell imported beers to truly make it an authentic experience. I have been going here since I was a kid. The first one of the chain was in Margate Florida. The food has always been great and the original owner used to get his vegetables from local farms. Even tough is really small, you can get the best chicken and salsas. They don't take your food to the table, but you can eat in regular plates, and real silverware.
