There is plenty of parking in front, and even a Tesla charging station. Clean outdoor and indoor dining and a drive through.. It appears as though Pollo Campero is expanding and opening in other locations around Florida. I didn't realize they do curbside pick up and delivery, there's even a mobile app. The restaurant is immaculate and staff is friendly & efficient. After seeing photos of their fried chicken online, I just had to come here to try it for myself. Our lunch didn't disappoint. In fact, it was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. And if you compare it to other fast food places, it's head and shoulders above them. If the setting was more formal, you'd be calling it a gourmet version. This restaurant chain was started in Guatemala. There are a couple locations in Dade, I think. But this is the only one, so far, in Palm Beach County. The place was packed when we stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There was a line at the counter to order -- and it stayed busy. You order and are given a number. Your food is delivered to your table. There were lots of large families here. They were ordering huge platters and sharing. I now know why. We got their four piece fried chicken dinner that came with two sides. We requested all white meat and paid a bit extra. We got two wings and two breasts. For our sides, we chose plantains, and black beans and white rice. (They have a number of other sides -- including mashed potatoes and gravy which I would get next time.) We also got a dinner roll with our meal (or you can have tortillas). The chicken was lightly seasoned and lightly battered and crispy. The white meat was cooked all the way through inside, yet was still moist. It was delicious. The plantains were very good -- sweet and caramelized. The rice and black beans were decent, but not anything special. ( Note: most folks were ordering their red beans). So glad we came here. We've found our new fast food/fried chicken place. read more

I always drive by this place on my way home at night. I decided to stop based on the reviews here on Yelp. I ordered the two piece chicken drum and thigh with yuca fries and a chicken empanada. The chicken empanadas was good and flavorful and the chicken itself was also very flavorful. The euchar fries we're good but in my opinion not as good as Pollo tropical. The meal cost $13 which in today's economy is a bargain. The staff was very friendly and when I told them it was my first time in they came by my table a couple of times to see if I was enjoying my meal. I wanted the 12 piece chicken dinner (only the chicken) usually it includes legs and thighs. I really wanted some chicken breasts (grilled) and I knew there will be an extra charge. It was like my mother opened the backdoor to her kitchen and was calling us inside to eat. This place is no Pollo Tropical and that is a GREAT thing. It also happened to my dad the last time i came here. We reported it to a worker named Roberto, he shrugged it off saying "oh well" which we found very rude. we had the same worker attend us Roberto. My daughter apparently had her feet on the seats. She didnt even have her feet on the seats, it was on the end hanging off. For some reason he didnt like the fact that my very young daughter had her feet on the seats when she didnt. My daughter is really young and she doesn't know her mistakes anyways. Apparently this angered Roberto and told me and my daughter VERY rudely to take her feet on the seats. When she didnt have her feet on the seats. He also delivered the food aggressively.
