Make sure you get their boiled seafood as the fried stuff is just okay. But the boiled platters are of large quantity and excellent. Some of the best seafood I've had this far from the coast. My husband enjoyed his fried catfish meal. Just the right portion. I chose to make my own boil, which consisted of 1/2 pound of clams, mussels, and shrimp. Two pieces of corn and three potatoes came with the boil. Could not choose which sauce but our waitress was helpful. She recommended the La Juicy sauce, which was a combination of all offered. Never Again! Driving through KY, we checked a local restaurant that had decent reviews and found La Juicy Seafood. We left there not wanting to rely on reviews again. I had the seafood pasta and couldn't finish the dish after biting into a piece of crab meat that tasted like it was sitting on a hot sidewalk for a couple of days. The sauce was watery and hardly clung to the pasta. The restaurant in general was disgusting. I always end up ordering the same thing, 1pound of shrimp that has been peeled, deveined, no tails, it comes with boiled potato and corn on the cob. Six of us ate at La juicy around 4pm on the Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving. Being a resident of North Central Florida our expectations of seafood in Western Ky we're not very high. We were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and seated immediately. We didn't see but two servers but the restaurant was not very busy and they were able to take care of us Someone we assumed to be the owner or manager also checked on us three times to make sure we were satisfied. The shrimp were large and succulent. Some had clams, mussels, and crab legs. All were cooked perfectly. The portions were ample to satisfy our big eaters.
