We came here after hearing a lot about it. Very cool branding, beautiful interior, nice exterior too. The hype is real on the aesthetic front. Inside was so packed we couldn't find a spot. We tried to sit outside and every single table was sticky and dirty. Staff was very nice and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed, but from the time we placed our order to the time we picked it up was at least half an hour. We were short on time so that was frustrating. Food was the toaster oven type, similar to what chains do with their sandwiches. Not impressed. The drinks were creative and cute, packaging was adorable. My husband really liked his latte. I was okay with mine, not blown away. But the packaging and the branding do not match the quality of what's actually inside. Those two things don't meet each other. Besides the aesthetics, there is not much going for them in my opinion. Food needs to be a higher quality to be passable. I was fairly disappointed for the level of hype this place gets. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impresses me, I'll be happy to come back. Very odd coffee place. Somewhat disorganized to where you have to go up several times for your drink orders. The complication of assembling the cups let alone the beverage is incredibly time consuming. Finally the price is not worth the volume of the beverage. Way overpriced and subpar delivery of the beverage. On the bright side the staff was friendly enough. But not enough to make this a frequent coffee location. read more

La La Land is my new favorite place! My latest go-to in the morning is the banana cloud latte, which is available iced only. I just love how creamy it is with banana and cinnamon. You can easily customize it to your own liking; for example, I tend to get oat milk and decaf. Every time I stop by, I have to get a large one for it to last me most of the morning. I'm making an effort to add protein with every meal. When I'm short on time, I get their sausage cheese sandwich or pesto provolone sandwich. Make sure you dip the sandwich in the la la sauce - it's super delicious with a combination of mayo, garlic chili oil, and chipotle paste. When I'm craving something sweet, I tend to get their almond croissant. This location does not have a drive-thru. They have a private parking lot shared with other businesses. I would highly recommend ordering online through their website. It's amazing how they have my drink and food ready for pick-up at exactly the right time. I noticed that they are not as busy on Monday morning, but super busy on Fridays. Make sure you grab some of the cute yellow napkins and heart-shaped straws on your way out. read more

I still love the product. Hands down a great matcha in the area with some good pastries but my goodness is it busy! We've started doing online orders and while sometimes its great... this last time it was quite annoying. We had two separate orders for 1 pm and the first was out on time while the other was not. 10 minutes later we have 1 of 2 drinks and the workers are amazed at how one of the workers had things organized and STOPPED WORKING to take photos... now I've worked in food and sure, take your photos when you have time but not when you have over 10 people waiting for orders. Overall great drinks, but plan to stay a while for your order. Cafe still has plenty of seating and you might get lucky to get a table. read more

This is a super cute place with lots of seating!! The young lady I gave my order too was helpful and so friendly. I don't know if this is the norm because it was my first time visiting here, but I waited about 25 minutes from the time I paid attention to my clock until I finally got my drink! I got the strawberry latte iced and it was delicious along with the chocolate croissant! It was actually one of the best ones I have ever had but waiting that long was crazy. If you are just chilling with friends and it doesn't matter that would be fine but mine was to take with me! There was such a line of people waiting down the side of the wall! Adding a picture I took of some of the orders waiting to be made at just these machines alone. The employees were working hard to get them out but just couldn't keep up. Online orders seemed to be part of the issue. I will have to really think twice about going again unless I'm just sitting and talking to someone. read more

I was so excited to try La La Land while in the DFW area and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Perfect Latte (Iced) with oat milk and it was delicious!! The flavoring was wonderful. The staff checked their allergy book to make sure it was gluten free. I did not get any breakfast since there is a risk of cross contamination but overall it was a great experience at the coffee shop:) I love how they say bye to everyone when you leave. read more

Great new addition to the Southlake area! The iced latte I ordered was strong and a good size. They have a Mickey and friends collab right now so the packaging is super cute. The service was a little on the slower side. This is likely due to them training some new staff and hopefully won't be an issue in the future. I wish the location had a drive in as there really isn't a ton of parking. I plan to return to get one of the Mickey and Friends kids meal as it comes with a toy! read more

I came here for their soft opening and since then. The wait wasn't too long in the heat and the line moved quickly. They have cute merchandise available, however the profanity on the merchandise is off-putting and is something to be mindful when bringing in little ones. They don't accept cash so make sure to bring your card. The service is friendly and your order is fulfilled in a timely fashion. The portions for food/dessert is generous and portion size for drinks are decent. The food/dessert and drinks are expensive. The drinks were so delicious. I love the atmosphere. Very bright and happy with the yellow. We came for one of the grand openings and they had a deal for 50% off drinks if you order through the app. We got to skip the line while we were eating at a restaurant nearby. I ordered the perfect latte, husband got the strawberry matcha, and my friend got the banana latte. Everyone liked their drinks! Minimum I'd say is $6.50. They also have some snacks and sweets I saw. There's plenty of seating inside but it was very popular when we went. Luckily there was more seating outside and we chatted while we drank our drinks. This was our first visit at this location and since the fall menu arrived, and we were thoroughly impressed. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a La La Land. The girl at the end of the line who hands the food and drinks was so rude (short light brown hair with glasses). There were no napkins anywhere )and I made sure to check before asking) because I don't want to waste anyone's time. She told me that the napkins are behind me, and pointed where they usually are. I politely told her there are no more napkins- I checked. She looked annoyed and said to give her one minute. She then grabbed a stack of plain white napkins, came out from behind the bar, and restocked the area which they usually are, not saying a word to me. Good customer service would have been to hand me a napkin after asking for it instead of walking all the way around the bar out of your way to stock them; But whatever, I'm not here for good customer service. I came here for the avocado toast, which had absolutely NO avocado on it. I wish they would have told me they ran out of avocado, and I would've gone to another La La Land to get an actual avocado toast. I just wasted $20+ on a rude attitude and buttered toast. Horrible experience 0/10, would not recommend this location. Side note: I literally lost my job last week unexpectedly, and my cat died this week (also unexpectedly), and I'm in a better mood than the worker here was. I'm not saying she needs to be jumping up and down, smiling with glee that she's at her job. But I do expect bare minimum decency from a person in a CUSTOMER SERVICE role. This place I saw while looking for cafes in Dallas and I saw this spot was extremely popular and definitely knew I had to come, I came literally a day before Keith Lee posted trying the matcha so it was extremely packed. The baristas were extremely nice and even though as you see the rush they still helped me and gave me recommendations, the area was super aesthetic and vibrant and super clean as well, it was so in theme. The drinks were amazing, I had the iced matcha and it was the best matcha I had in Dallas! my friend order and iced latte and a hot cappuccino. They all loved it. I was given a gift card and took advantage of the opportunity to give La La Land a try with my brother. The Sunday morning crowd was thick! Definitely go with some time if you visit on a weekend. The lululemon chai was sweet and tasty. The matcha chai had absolutely no sweetness whatsoever and didn't taste like chai but once sweetened was a good drink. The egg bites and sandwich were good, improved by the tasty spicy sauce that came with them. The avocado toast was quite good and loaded with avocado. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the mix of yummy flavors. This place is fun and has some great options for a coffee treat, or meet-up with a friend. I am torn with my experience today. I've visited a few times before and due to the popularity of this spot this can lead to a higher wait time. To solve for this, I ordered ahead. I got in line and upon asking was told I could wait where the order is handed out to the right hand side. When I got there, since I wasn't sure where to go to pick up my order, I asked someone behind the counter where to go for pickup. She handed me my drink, and I asked about food she turned around and walked away. I then had to wait another few minutes until I had to get the attention of another person. We were about 15 mins after my designated order time and I got worried because I was taking lunch to my child at school.
