Crispy and golden on the outside, tender enough to melt in your mouth on the inside. I added onions and bell peppers, and next time I'll ask for extra because they belonged together. Let those onions and peppers come on out and join the party! The bacon was a good-quality cut--not thin, cheap, or pretending to be pork. As a genuine pork lover, I appreciate that.
