    Oatmeal raisin pecan cookie
    Joseph C.

I hadn't been to this place in a while, so I want to stop in and try to get the mandolin cookie as they're so good. I was informed that they no longer had those or couldn't get the batter for them. This place is usually pretty decent and the atmosphere is cozy.. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I decided to go for the oatmeal raisin pecan cookie and a tiramisu treat. Both were awesome, but the cookie seemed like it was a day old, even though it was great.

Roman the cashier was magnifique! Stellar service! Accurate! He made up for less than nice service I received last time.

So tasty! Food is piping hot still as I'm writing this! The staff was friendly and helpful to questions I had about the menu! The vibe is nice and chill, just the right amount of noise :-) 10/10 definitely will be back

Half ham and Swiss baguette and cup of mushroom soup! Yum!

Fantastic experience once again at this amazing restaurant! They make the best mushroom soup on the planet and combined with a "half" baguette makes a lunch to die for! The restaurant is impeccably clean, well staffed, and the food is amazing! My wife had the tomato basil soup and a croissant which was scrumptious! We love this restaurant and is our "go to" place for lunch when in that part of town!

The restaurant is ok. There's plenty of parking spots, so you never have to worry about not finding a spot for your car. I also like that their menu has quite a bit of items to choose from. There's something light..or something more heavy...and you can opt for lunch or breakfast items at any time of the day. The only thing was just that service was hit or miss and price may not be the cheapest. It also may be a little confusing. One orders/pays at the counter, get a number for your order, and grab a seat (where the staff can bring out whatever you order to your table). Food tastes ok, but can be a lil on a pricier side. That said, it's good that their restaurant almost always has room to sit and it's usually quiet enough inside (and no one will bother you or try to rush you out).

We come here a few times a year and the food is always solid. Tonight was no exception. The customer service is hit and miss; unfortunately tonight was a miss. Cadence and Keylin were working the front of the restaurant and they were not the friendliest. They're both young so I thought maybe they had a rough day at school, or maybe someone called in and they were short staffed. Keylin seemed generally impatient with every customer and coworker. The place was basically empty when we came in and we were still told to sit down while we looked at the menu even though nobody was behind us in line. Several tables needed to be bussed and someone pulled out the mop and bucket when we were going to sit down which basically communicated to sit somewhere else. The mop and bucket sat out untouched the whole time we were eating. Service was slow even though there was nobody here and there didn't appear to be any to go orders. When the food arrived about 20 mins later, it was hot and delicious!

    Country French breakfast.

La Madeleine aims to give diners a French bistro experience, and for the most part it meets that goal. We were running errands and decided to have brunch there. You have to wait in line to order and pay for your meal. We both had the country French breakfast - eggs, sausage, a potato galette (fancy hash browns with green onions cooked in the mix), and a croissant. I also ordered a regular latte; I was charged for and received a double. The food was fine, well seasoned and fresh, but the croissant was the only French-ish thing on the plate. It was very good, though - flaky on the outside and tender in the center. I was disappointed in the latte, which was mostly milk. A double latte really should have two shots of espresso, IMO. Service was friendly and the French lessons playing in the restroom are a fun touch.

Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. The kids are happy, I'm happy, and honestly, that's a successful breakfast in my book. The only downside is the limited seating. It's a smaller location, so it can fill up quickly, especially during the breakfast rush. If you happen to come during a really busy time, you may have to wait a bit to find a table. That said, I don't think it takes away from the experience you just have to time it right. We usually come for breakfast since they're open for breakfast and lunch, and this time I tried the Grande burrito. And let me tell you, "Grande" is not an exaggeration. That is a LOT of food. I got the bacon-smothered burrito with red chile, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. I do wish there was something between the Grande and Junior because the Grande is a serious commitment, and I'm not sure the Junior would be enough. I'll have to try it next time and find out. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich, which comes with an Angus sirloin steak on Texas toast. It looked a little wild when it came out, but she ate it and said it was delicious, so apparently the presentation was just part of the experience. My son got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. He ate the whole thing, so clearly he approved. His only complaint was that the biscuit kept falling apart, but considering he's a little kid, I'm going to blame that one on the user rather than the biscuit. The staff has always been friendly during our visits. On this particular morning, a gentleman came around several times to refill our house coffee, which I always appreciate. Good service and a full coffee cup go a long way. And if you're into pastries and coffee, they have plenty of options. I've tried their blueberry muffin, and it is divine. They also have different baked scones, and I've had their lattes and macchiatos, which have all been really good. I still need to come back during the lunch hours because there are several things I want to try. The hot beef sundae caught my attention, and the Philly also looked really good. There are so many different options that I feel like I could keep coming back and ordering something different every time. This is definitely the kind of place where you can stop in, grab something really good, enjoy a little coffee, and get on with your morning. It's casual, welcoming, and consistently good. Limited seating is really my only complaint. Otherwise, I've been here multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Definitely a must-try!

So its a bit awkward because there is a sign asking you not to seat yourself until you've ordered your food. It can make you feel a little anxious because if its really busy, where are you going to sit. We saw people waiting around not knowing what to do. Let me start by saying our food took way too long to come out, I even saw someone walk out because they were waiting so long on their food. I saw someone waiting for their food who sat close to us, and it turned out to be a to-go and I was like darn, that felt like they waited 20+ mins. For what they have on their menu, I feel like they should be able churn out food orders pretty quick. A couple who ordered after us, got their full food order before we I got my French toast and everyone else at our table got their food. It felt like 10-15 min wait on my food after everyone at the table got theirs. There was also an issue with our order because we were waiting on a side, but then I guess it was never added to our order per our server. We sat in the front corner and you can see the whole cook area, this also means if ventilation isn't on point, your clothes will soak in that aroma, like my jacket did.
