In the past year I've begun to return to LeMadeleine in North Arlington. They open at 7:00 am which is perfect for morning commuters, medical staff, airline all night shift folks. I typically order the French Breakfast, but this morning just wanted a breakfast sandwich. So yummy! And their bakery!!! Highly underrated! Has a good vibe and service which makes you feel like you're at a local cafe. The food is always great and has plenty of options. After you order you get your tag number, get your drink, silverware, and sauce at the back and sit down and they'll bring you your food which I think is very effective. Never rushes you to leave and is a great study spot too. read more

Honestly, the food was pretty good overall. It did take a bit to come out, but nothing too crazy. The waiter was a highlight -- super friendly, upbeat, and genuinely made the experience better just by checking in and walking around with good energy. The sodas were surprisingly spicy, which was interesting, and I was really hoping to leave with one of their baguettes... but sadly, they were all gone. Absolutely love the food and customer service here. I love sitting by the fireplace in the evenings during the cold months, however, I won't be doing so at this location. It has a smell that makes my stomach curl. The closer you get to the bathroom the worse it gets. I don't know it's actually the bathroom or the rug in front of the drink machine but it makes the entire place stink. They need a deep clean and to be realistic about the smell and the cause. read more

Normally this location has service. Tonight not so much. Stood and waited minutes to get someone's attention to place and order. No clean glasses, no ice, no unsweetened tea. I had to ask for each item one at a time. What is going on at 7:00 pm? Now we have waited almost 30 minutes for our meal. Still no unsweet iced tea. Not a good night at La Madeleine. One dish has finally arrived. Still waiting on the other meal to be brought to the table. Oddly same dish ordered on the same ticket. Service FAIL! After waiting another ten minutes for the 2nd meal to arrive ice cold. It'll be a cold day before I set foot in the restaurant again. They should be embarrassed to have the doors open. read more

Stopped in for some late night dessert. The place looked like a homemade Panera type with a mini bakery case. The food that was coming out looked very good but we only had the dessert. This is my first time coming to la Madeleine in nearly a decade and I must say... I was BLOWN AWAY. We wanted a quick meal before heading over to Hurricane Harbor and it was a great experience. We ordered a whole french dip, nutella crepes, tomato soup and coffees. We also ordered mimosas which were ONLY $6! They give you an entire bottle of champagne and a whole cup of orange juice so you get around 3 glasses of mimosa, which makes it only $2/glass! I was so amazed by this -- the champagne is not the best quality but it is still a great deal and the orange juice was amazing so it balanced out. The french dip and nutella crepes were both very good -- people have a misconception that this place is overprcied but it is equally as expensive at IHOP or Cracker Barrel. Overall, this place was a great place to visit and again, the mimosas are A1. Needless to say, we ordered another round and were very happy by the end of our meals. Ordered the salad sampler and all three choices were fresh and delicious. Chicken salad has large pulls of chicken and is flavorful and good. Cranberry pecan salad served on fresh spring mix leaves. Strawberry Romanoff- fresh strawberries with a white sauce that tastes liquor like and is creamy and delicious. Lots of tables to sit at including directly next to the fireplace and outside tables. I had come in here twice this week b/c I was driving by and needed my fix: Once on Monday and Once on Saturday. I'm only giving 3 stars for the review today b/c both times i was in, there was an ENORMOUS infestation of flies toward the bathroom where the bread/butter/preserves station was. Flies EVERYWHERE. it was very disheartening. On Monday i thought...oh it's just an off day. But when I came back on Saturday and saw all the flies, I thought "Oh no...I need to not come back for a little while until this gets cleared up." That sandwich is so creamy and crispy on the outside, I absolutely love it With the tomato soup!! My fiancé had the eggs and bacon, he thoroughly enjoyed it, and it came with a nice buttery croissant. Just for reference, you must have a mask when you walk in, and all of the utensils are wrapped for sanitation. You have to ask for extra bread or any other condiments or utensils . They no longer have it sitting out for anyone to grab. Although you may still get your own drink once you are get an a cup. Management is really fast and efficient, everyone here is so nice. I really like La Madeleine they have some really good food. The Chicken Friand is wonderful. I get the mushroom gravy on the side. Sometimes they do not have one ready which is bummer. So you wait or come back another time. The Caesar salad is very good and so is the French onion soup. I had some of pasta meals and I was happy with them as will. The bread and jam that comes with the meal at no extra cost is very good. And they have the best Mango iced tea. They do have breakfast which I had once and I like it as will. They do have very pretty dessert and that taste good. I like the setup of La Madeline you go through a cafeteria like line and you pick out what you want. Or if you order from the menu. Then they make your order and bring it to your table. It is not waiter service so you save by not tipping. But the price is still a little steep. Kind of annoying but not the end of the world. When we got there and asked the girl for our missing item (not the same girl who gave us our order) she stated like a deer in the headlights for a second and another rolled her eyes and said "it doesn't even matter" and went and got the item. Like THEY were the ones getting inconvenienced for the whole ordeal. I normally don't write reviews but the level of rudeness displayed was incredible to me. We kindly asked for the item we paid for. Accidents happen, but the reaction floored me. No apology or anything. I know it's tough to get help these days but they really need to have a talk with their employees about professionalism and customer service. We were thrilled when La Madeleine opened their first Oklahoma location in Norman. Unfortunately, we're not in Norman frequently, particularly in the mornings, and with several great breakfast spots closer, 35 Miles seems a bit far to drive. But since business has taken me to DFW these past two weekends, I've stopped here a few times. The Quiche Lorraine was very good, and is honestly enough for two people. The egg was set well, the crust flaky and a good amount of ingredients. On my next visit, I chose the breakfast crepe with ham, onion and green peppers. I was a bit surprised that it was served open-faced, but it was wonderful. The eggs were as creamy as any I've had in any restaurant. I enjoyed it throughly. The food is still pretty good, but the presentation lacks a little, especially when it comes to the French onion soup. They throw in the bread and the cheese, and it's no longer toasted. We ordered several things on the menu, and we weren't disappointed. My nephew loved the pizza that they just added to the menu! The avocado toast is always an easy winner, fresh and light. It was on Mother's Day, so there was definitely a wait. Their breakfast dishes are delicious and the amount is perfect. The breakfast croissant sandwich was very good, but it lacks aside item to go with it. The cafe sampler had a great amount of salad to go with the quiche and my soup.
