I'm not a huge fan of this restaurant chain, although I have many friends and work coworkers who really enjoy these restaurants. I find the flavors to be slightly above average. Not super delicious nor do I crave their food. However it is good. I find the ambience to be clean and mostly locations just like this one was inside and out. The parking lot is large and does share with retail stores and even a grocery store so it might be difficult to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. the service for me is really at the cash register and that's where you order, so that's why I'm giving it an average three stars for services. I'm not necessarily tell me about that. They have to go to this restaurant because it's so great Norma discouraging anyone to go. I know I'll probably be back because that's a lot of times where we can meet people instead of going to like a Starbucks or another kind of restaurant so I guess it's an overall inviting atmosphere. They do play French words in the bathrooms so that's quite interesting. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

I placed this order through yelp via Apple Maps. Beware ordering food on here .. When I arrived at the meal was not ready but I was willing to wait. My mistake for not checking the food before I left the restaurant. However, when I got to work and seen what I received, I was highly disappointed. I drove back to the restaurant and explained that my meal was incorrect. The entire meal was incorrect. I simply requested a refund as I did not want another greasy croissant. They refuse to give me a refund. The manager explained that order is placed on here go through grub hub. However, I was trying to explain to her I need to order number because I do not have a GrubHub account and would not be able to call them without some kind of information about the order. She was unable to do so. Offering a coupon for a next visit. I simply declined and left with food that I did not want. Unfortunately, I do not think I can return to this location due to the smell of the restaurant.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a la Madaline. The pastries tasted like they were made two days ago. The ice tea was bitter. The staff could've cared less and when approached about how bad the pastries tasted, they just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry and turned around and walked away. This has been a staple in my life for many many many years, and although I know that not all of them are this bad the prices have gone up. The quality portions have gone down and even the staple of bread and jam that used to be a part of the cost of eating there is no longer available. If they continue to treat people like this, I know this location will not last much longer, which is a shame because it's in a neighborhood, that should support it well. As my party was sitting close to the register, we saw four other people come up to them with complaints to which seem to have no resolve.

I was surprised to see that you don't go through a line picking your food items. You order at the counter, they give you a number and they bring the food to you. My tomato basil soup and caesar salad were delicious. I bought a Nutella croissant muffin to go. It was ok. Sort of dry! The bread by the slice is self-serve. You get a free French lesson when you go to the restroom. I was surprised to hear the music of Pink Martini playing in the background, "Je ne veux pas travailler."

Came here for breakfast this past weekend. The front door is not ADA compliant as we saw the people before and after struggling to open the front door. There was no wait. Ordered our meals and got our food quickly. The tables and dining area is well spread out. The quality of the food is cheap here. Got a bad reaction to the preservatives they use in the food. Also the girl taking the order randomly asked if I wanted a mimosa once we were done ordering but I was clearly pregnant? If someone wants alcohol they will ask for it. A last attempt to get the bill higher was kinda turn off.

I know carbs aren't in, but the reason to dine in is the free bread and jam. I love it. Got a glass of wine and a slice of napoleon cake plus two brownies as well for $20 after tax. I heard if you can sing the French national anthem, in French, on their national day you get a free meal. génial!

This was my first time at la Madeleine & was not disappointed. The American breakfast was good. I really enjoyed the bacon. The mushroom soup was soo delicious especially with the croissant. The food came out quick. Will be returning.

Fairly average food. Big portions for the price. Lots of good options to choose from. The bread for my Chicken Riviera was rock hard though, and the side of Tomato Basil Pesto Salade was room temperature, almost like it had been sitting out giving it more of a soggy texture.

Their Cinnamon Bun French Toast and a Grilled Cheese with French Onion soup

I don't come to the Galleria often but I decided to try this location when I came here with a friend. I usually like La Madeleine's food at their Meyerland location but I was a little disappointed at this one. I ordered their cinnamon bun french toast and it was okay but a bit dry. I also ordered a side of fruit and it didn't taste the freshest. My meal totaled to about $16 which I think is definitely overpriced. My friend ordered their grilled cheese and french onion soup and she said it was good. The line was a little long but once we ordered our food came pretty fast. It was overall okay but I'm not sure I'd come back to this location.

What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service.
