Ice cream was ok but the corn was a major disappointment. Corn should grilled not steamed. And it was not what I accustomed too.

My boss brought some of their popsicles to the office as a special treat and they were absolutely delicious! I got the mango fruit bar and it was so fresh tasting. I was expecting a more sugary taste but it was very fresh and tropical, not overpowered by sugar at all. I'll have to stop by and try the other flavors! read more

This place is pretty popular with the locals. The ice cream was delish. They have anything ranging from ice to milk base ice creams to popsicles. They also carry the typical Mexican treats. I can't name anything specific, but my friend and his family loves grabbing goodies from here. There are seats available indoors and one or two benches right outside, but this place gets pretty filled during the weekends. Overall, a yummy place to grab some good ice cream and treats. Oh. This place is located at the intersection of Atlanta Hwy & Memorial Park Drive. It's literally right behind the Texaco gas station. It is sweet, salty and spicy. Not everyone will like this, but everyone should try it at the very least. It's very interesting and hits the spot when you are PMSing and need that sweet and sour. We've had their corn on the cob; its slathered with mayo and all sorts of seasoning. This is about $2 and SOO worth it. This may be my favorite thing. Great prices, service and selection. At first I did not know what to think about this place. It was a little off the beaten path of Gainesville, but when I tried it several years ago, it was the worst mistake I ever made!!! I have tried mango chomoyada at other places but i have to say this place has the winning mango ice cream. Althou they don't have the real chopped mango in theirs but their mango ice cream is the bomb. It's the combination of every taste that you'd ask for: salty, sour, sweet, lil spicy, and the fine textured ice cream which makes their mango chomoyada better than others. We are fans of dining in and around Gainesville, and so when we saw homemade ice cream at the corner of Pearl Nix and Atlanta Hwy with good reviews, we had to try it. It's true, this place makes it's own ice cream and other deserts. My wife and I bought 3 scoops: chocolate, coffee, and strawberry-chocolate chip mix. While the space was clean and the attendants very helpful, we were deeply disappointed in all the products we purchased. The flavors are thin and it taste like they use a lot of gums and/or fillers. Additionally, this is not a high-fat content ice cream like Bruster's or Greenwood. You know things are bad when a choc-chocoholic like my wife stops after 3 spoons. This is a great place to take the kids, but it is not gourmet adult ice cream. Maybe it's a cultural thing. We don't know. All we know is that our ice cream ended up in the trash can. read more

Our family have enjoyed the fresh strawberries & cream, handmade ice cream in cones, chocolate dipped bananas with sprinkles, tostilocos (Doritos with a spice to it), fruit smoothies/ shakes and fruit drinks.
