Believe the negative reviews!!! My experience with La Mesa RV, and in particular Dominic Sparacino Jr., has been shockingly disappointing and offensive. I'm too exhausted by them to share all the very disappointing details of the experience. As one other review stated, they will literally tell you anything you want to hear to sign the dotted line and then you are treated like a second class citizen once you've made your wire. I bought the extended warranty. I have some cosmetic issues to fix. I called La Mesa (772) 882- 3813 and they told me I have to take the car to Port Saint Lucie (2 hours away) so they can evaluate the repair. I asked them what happens if it's a mechanical issue and I can't travel that far, and they said I would have to hire a tow truck. So basically, if you buy from La Mesa in Davie, forget about being able to use the warranty easily -- you're going to have a hard time if there's a technical problem, or it's just plain ridiculous if you need to fix simple cosmetic issues. If you're buying in Davie, just know that you're on your own if something goes wrong. The warranty won't work as wonderfully as they promise when they're trying to sell it to you. read more

I purchased a 2021 motorhome from La Mesa RV in Davie, Florida, and I deeply regret this decision. First, they made me wait almost 3 hours just to sign a cash deal. After that, I asked them to leave the RV parked so I could pick it up at 5:00 AM. When I arrived, the RV had been left without my temporary license plate. While driving on I-95, I quickly noticed the vehicle needed an alignment. After driving about 200 miles, I made my first stop and discovered that the tires had already worn down to a dangerously low level. This is extremely concerning for a vehicle that was supposedly inspected and ready for travel. I also realized that the oil had not been changed, even though they strongly promote that all their RVs are fully inspected and serviced before delivery. I was specifically told everything had been checked and that I had nothing to worry about for my trip. Unfortunately, that was not true. In addition, they replaced the upholstery before delivery, but the quality of the work was very poor and they left a significant stain on the new upholstery. There is clearly a serious lack of communication between the sales team, the service department, and management. After the sale, the manager was very unfriendly and basically told me they would not take responsibility because it was an "as-is" sale. To be fair, I would give 4 stars to Dominic (the salesperson) who tried to help during the purchase. However, my experience with the service department was very poor. I would give 1 star to Jessica in the service area and Marcial, and 0 stars to the manager Justin, who never responded to my emails or phone calls. In summary, I am very disappointed and truly regret buying from La Mesa RV in Davie. Buying an RV is a major investment, and customers deserve honesty, proper inspection, and support after the sale. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. read more

We purchased a brand new Winnebago Revel 44e from this dealership on 04/11/26, we spent the next 2 weeks getting accessories ordered and getting ready for our vacation on 04/25/26. We left our home and within 5 miles the van check engine light came on and it would not go faster than 30mph. We got the van home and I called La Mesa RecVan in Davie,FL where we purchased it, to let them know we were having problems with our newly bought 2025 mercedes Benz/Winnebago 44e, I get a guy on the phone let him know the van won't go over 30mph and right away he knew it was in Limp mode, he said "we will take care is this for you" I said I couldn't drive it there and he said "no worries we can get it towed" and he ask "who was your sales person" I told him Jessie he said "he was going to get Jessie and a few other people together and would call me back in 5 minutes" 10 minutes later no call so I call again get a different guy who tells me "if you can't give me a name of who you previously talked to I can't help" and "that there was nothing they could do" so I asked to speak to a manager he transferred me to service where a lady answered and she couldn't find any information about the van we purchased just 2 weeks prior in there system, she then tells me "you need to get down to us and that is your van, your problem and responsibility, we don't tow", well that's weird because the last 2 people we spoke to said they would take care of it. Obviously now we are quite aggravated with this whole situation. Everyone at that place is telling us something different, so I hang up and call back. This time right when someone answers I ask for a manager I get transferred to Joel a sales manager who tells me "it's mercedes Benz issues and need to have it towed to a mercedes Benz dealership" now if the first guy, who right away knew the issue had told me that everything would have been fine. Instead they led us down this meandering road of clueless people that eventually led to one very rude lady in service, and had we taken her advice we would have needlessly towed the van 90 miles to them for an issue that needed to be fixed at Mercedes, wasting time and costing us money. On November 5, 2024, my husband and I purchased the Zion Slumber with high hopes of beginning a road-schooling journey with our young children. The vehicle had only 10,240 miles on it and was presented as being in pristine condition. We made a $26,250 down payment and began making $955.06 monthly payments, confident that we were investing in both quality and trust. Unfortunately, after just one day of use (November 20, 2024), the housing electrical system failed. Following instructions from our extended warranty provider, Portfolio Protection, we hired a licensed electrician first week of December 2024, who diagnosed a faulty inverter and submitted a claim on our behalf. The claim was approved, and the new inverter was ordered. We waited until early March 2025 for it to be installed--only for the electrical system to fail again within hours. The electrician advised that the undercarriage needed to be examined to determine the root cause of these repeated failures, but he did not have the equipment to lift the van safely. As a result, on March 21, 2025, we drove over two hours to La Mesa RV in Port St. Lucie for further inspection. To make matters worse, the driver-side step malfunctioned--an issue that existed when we first purchased the van and was supposedly repaired by La Mesa Davie before delivery. Since then, the experience has worsened. We have repeatedly contacted both the Davie and Port St. Lucie locations and spoken with numerous team members, including management, yet no one has provided any meaningful assistance or follow-up. We've received no updates, no timelines, and no resolutions. As of March 21, 2025, the van has remained with the La Mesa Port St. Lucie repair team--unusable and unresolved. This vehicle has been a complete loss from the beginning. We invested in gear for travel-- vehicle insurance, bedding, bath items, tents, outdoor tools--all of which remain untouched. Our dream of traveling and road-schooling with our children has been completely derailed. Beyond the financial burden, this experience has raised serious concerns about the integrity of La Mesa RV's business practices. The volume of negative reviews from families like ours makes it difficult not to wonder whether faulty vehicles are being knowingly sold, forcing buyers into an exhausting cycle of breakdowns, warranty claims, and unfulfilled promises. We are respectfully requesting that La Mesa RV take full financial responsibility. If this matter cannot be resolved immediately, we will pursue legal action and explore the possibility of a class-action lawsuit, as we are confident we are not alone in this experience. read more

For our walk thru we had Will. He was absolutely amazing! He answered my million questions I had and even wrote my chasis and generator oil information for me. He did measurements for getting a Brooklyn Bedding mattress by RV MATTRESS later and measured my door for getting a keyless entry door lock. Marcel was so great for the financial and the closing! Let me start by saying that they will go all out to sell you an RV and call you all day to try to make a deal. Once you close on the deal you are on your own. They don't care about you or the problem anymore. I purchased a 2017 Hurricane RV from la Mesa on Sept 2024.They told me that the RV was throughly inspection twice before they sell it. Once when they receive it and once before I would buy it. I told them that my biggest fear was having the RV with leaks or mechanical issues.They told me not to worry about it that they inspected it. I believed it and purchased it.The day of the purchase they gave us a walk through to teach us how to operate the RV.During the walk through we noticed a beeping and error message on the panel for the automatic jacks/levelers.They called a technician that told us that all it needed was a reset.He showed us how to do it and we believed that there was no other issues.We took the unit home and my husband noticed that it was beeping all the way home and the error message came back on. When we got home he did another reset and the message went away. Then within 14 days of having it we took it camping to find out the beeping and error message was still happening.It was raining that day and we have a massive leak coming from the slide and also a leak from a light in the middle of the RV roof. All the things I was afraid of and they told me not to worry was happening.I contacted them right away.The sales person Tony forward all the video proof I took of the problem and send it to the manager.After weeks of getting the run around and no one answering my calls I was finally able to talk to a manager named Mike.He promised to take care of the RV and pay for the repairs.He told me to take it to their service center in Port St. Lucie which I did.Service department called to pick up the unit because it was supposed to be fixed but when we got there the problem was still happening.They had to call a tech to come out and see it again.I left it there and drove back home which is 104 miles away.They called me and said that the problem was the hydraulic system and it was 2500.00 for the part and 300.00 for labor. I called the Davie office again to find out that Mike doesn't work there anymore and they refuse to pay for the repairs. Now I am stuck with a huge bill because they claim we bought it as is and they don't have to fix anything. I explain that I did address the problem the day of the walk through and was lied too about the seriousness of the situation. They said sorry but nothing we can do. I purchased a class B RV from LaMesa RV on January 11th 2024. From the beginning I had problems with LaMesa RV. At time of purchase I was sent off with only a set of keys. there are several different sets of keys, keys for the drain hose compartment, keys for the hood and bike rack etc. It took them three weeks to locate my keys. but that's not the kicker. My purchase came with a two year warranty on the RoadTrek side. after one year that warranty was no longer valid due to LaMesa no longer doing business with RoadTrek. I contacted RoadTrek and the first correspondence I was told they didn't have an alternative service option. I contacted them again two weeks later and was told I could take it to Gainesville Fl. ( Which is over 400 miles away ). Did I mention that I paid cash in the amount of $126,000.00 for this headache? Save yourself a headache and avoid these people like the plague. So I am left with no other option than to make or pay for my own repairs. One last thing avoid Good Sam and Camping World as well. I took out a policy with Good Sam and paid them $70 a month for coverage on my RV to include parts and labor. The first time I took it to them for repairs they refused to pay for the labor which was @ $190.00 per hour times 2 1/2. so I had to settle for installing the parts myself. This is such a sad story. The average RV buyer is older and needs that extra touch of customer service. La Mesa salespeople, service managers and location managers know this and lie through their teeth about the level of support they will provide post-sale. I have been completely unable to get ahold of ANYONE that will even call me back to help me with my RV which is completely down and would not start, battery errors, etc. I reached out to the service department yesterday and am still waiting for a callback, text the service manager in the Davie location, my salesperson -- no response. Called the service scheduling desk over and over and still nothing - they gave me the number to Winnebago support which I called - I got a voicemail that said all technicians were in a meeting and to call back later and then it hung up on me. This is disgusting. Calling the BBB and the ultimate CEO of La Mesa so they know what happens after the sale and how it leaves people feeling. read more
