We ate our dinner at the restaurant. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. Waitress Christina was nice. She's got some sass which made it fun as long as you like that kind of tone and demeanor which we do. The food was good. I wish they would print in the menu what ingredients are in the food instead of just the name of the food. But the food came out quick and exactly how we had ordered it. They give generous portions. We will go back to try more options for sure. My only negatives would be the salad was soaked in dressing, the pita seemed store bought, and our main issue was the woman clearing tables kept interrupting our meal to ask if she could take our plates. The servers are very friendly and attentive, and we've never had a bad meal there. Some of the standouts include: Fattoush Salad: La Mia's Fattoush Salad is the best I've ever had; it is always super fresh. All of the vegetables are fresh and crisp, and the toasted pita chips are never soggy. The dressing is absolutely delicious, and they put the perfect amount on it. Crushed Lentil Soup: The crushed lentil soup at La Mia is one of the best I've ever tasted. It's seasoned without being too salty, and there is a nice hint of lemon in it that makes it really taste fresh. Some lentil soups can be too thick and overpowering, and La Mia's is always consistent. Garlic Spread: The garlic spread at La Mia is not too strong like it can be at other Lebanese restaurants. It has a good balance of being garlicky without having that burning bite to it that some garlic spreads do. Falafel: The falafel at La Mia is also the best I've ever had. Falafel at other Lebanese restaurants can be overpowering with the seasonings. La Mia's falafel is perfectly seasoned; it's flavorful, but not too strong. It's also perfectly fried every single time. Mixed Grill: The mixed grill at La Mia is fantastic. It's a combination of chicken and beef shawarma, and both are perfectly cooked. The chicken is not dry and tough, and the beef is super tender. It's served on top of a bed of their rice pilaf, which is also delicious. Chicken Cream Chop: The chicken cream chop at La Mia is one of the best I've had as well. It's always perfectly breaded and fried. The breading is crispy, and not at all greasy. The chicken is tender, and they slice it in very thin pieces which make it even more appetizing. All of their wraps are delicious; I've had the shawarma, the hummus and tabbouleh, and the falafel wrap and each one is delicious. They are all generously filled with the ingredients and the pita is nicely toasted without being dried out. Lastly, the Lebanese iced tea at La Mia is refreshing; it has a hint of mint to it that gives it the perfect flavor to balance the spice of the dishes and refresh your palate as you're enjoying your meal. read more

This place is incredible!!! Was a blessing to have La Mia right next to the hotel we were staying at. The staff is super friendly and were extra helpful helping us pick out our meals (which are among some of our new favourites). We went there 4 times during our trip, and the staff really made us feel like family, big thanks to the people at La Mia for making us out-of-towners feel welcome! Have eaten here quite often, and usually opt for a rock-solid Chicken Gyro Pita. Fresh grilled chicken, and heaps of fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, and they absolutely won't short you on the Tzadziki sauce. (Hint: It's OK to order it on the side!) Truly a blissful gut-stuffer when you need it. The side Lebanese salad is a good value, but like at so many Middle-Eastern restaurants, they can't quite grasp the concept of "light on the dressing", and your lettuce is drowning in oil. Hit-or-miss on the speed of lunch, but in the past year or so seems to be gaining in consistency in that dept. All-in-all, one of the better options in the general Mt. Great food. The Fattoush was on-point authentic and fresh with real home-made pita chips! I got the grill mix dish which is one skewer of chicken and kafta kabob with rice and toasted almonds. The pita and garlic appetizer was okay, the pita wasnt fresh and the garlic sauce was not so either. The service was fast. Nothing here is authentic in any fashion. Also the staff is lazy, kinda rude and may need a shower .The price is what you pay at a place like Marhaba in West Bloomfield not this shit hole . Love it! Every time I go (which is often), I'm always greeted by friendly staff. I quickly got to know the people working there and they are very personable and accommodating. I'm a huge fan of middle eastern food and have tried several places in the area. With that said, their food is some of the best. I have tried almost everything on the menu so far and do not have a complaint. Some of my favorites is the beef or chickens shwarma. I will argue that their shwarma is some of the best. Anytime I have a friend that has never tried middle eastern food and sceptical about trying it, I always suggest La Mia's shwarma dish and then their hooked. I would also highly suggest the garlic dip. They sell plastic cups of it and I often buy a tub of it to put it on sandwiches at home. I will warn it's extremely addicting. My favorite thing to get though it the tabbouleh. Every time I go, no matter what dish I get, I always need a side of their tabbouleh. Although I never had a bad dish there, the tabbouleh is worth going alone. I have cravings of their tabbouleh. By far, the best. I would also grab a bowl of their rice pudding while you're there. Called to order for pick up...Yelp says this was closest shawarma place nearest partridge creek mall...I ordered 3 beef shawarma sandwiches...I got there in 15 minutes, order was ready so I asked how much my total was and it was $21.60. I said ,I have the 3 sandwiches..and the overworked lady says "yeah that's your total." I said I didn't even order sides...so it's a $7.00 shawarma...just the shawarma..one shawarma for 7 bucks..it wasn't even good,it tasted like really old beef stew,almost like consistency of pulled pork drenched in old grease..and to top it all,i had diarrhea after ingesting the shawarma..so there's your $7.00 shawarma with a splash of e.coli. I had to toss the other 2 shawarmas, my white husband had one look at it and said "don't feed that to the kids". And my husband likes his mid-eastern food...don't come here, you will get sick..or maybe if u insist on coming,order something else..good luck :) read more
