The day to have La Michoacana is when you need a refreshing treat. The best part about it is, I wasn't certain if there was one in the same center as Northgate, but there it was. A quick left and we were in line! We ordered mangoñadas, one with limón and the other with tamarindo. We called them diablitos, but she knew what we wanted. They were made with the perfect ratio of chamoy, nieve, and nicely chopped fruit on top. The small size was perfect for me this evening. Honestly, I was just so happy eating this. The only confusing part was their menu. Not all TVs were on so I wasn't completely sure if they had fruit salads or tostilocos. It looked like they had the ingredients by the looks of their counter though. They wore masks, wore gloves, and there was hand sanitizer available at the register. I will not complain about the customer service of this place because although they aren't super friendly, they are there to work. I will complain about the quality of products though. You can tell they buy the cheapest ingredients and the quality is not good compared to other Michoacanas. I have given this place multiple chances but I will not be going back. Everything I have tried there has been gross and not as yummy as I'm used to. I would rather go to any of the places in Vista because they just have better stuff in my opinion. read more

I went to this location in Fallbrook. The service was horrible while I was eating my chips. I noticed my chips were stale. I told the cashier and she told me it's only been two days didn't even offer a refund. I also had to throw away my toddlers ice cream. This ice cream shop is horrible. And to top it off the ice cream shop had no AC. It was super hot inside. I couldn't even enjoy my food while I was there. read more

I have been going to this location for many years, and the quality of not only the employees but the product these employee send out to the public have improved significantly. The two ladies that work the afternoon shifts at the shop have welcome me and provided me with excellent service. Nice discovery here in Fallbrook. They have so many flavors of ice cream. I had coffee and pistachio and my Grand had Oreo cookie. The place is very clean and the staff (owners?) were so friendly and helpful. It was a warm day here in Fallbrook (imagine that?!?!), so we enjoyed the air conditioning!! We'll be back to try some new flavors. My Grand counted 48 flavors!! They also have Nachos, Agua Frescas, natural juices, shakes, etc. Enjoy!! read more

I introduced my fiancé to Mexican desserts as he is not a fan of sweets. I have never been here in my hometown so I wanted to try it. We go mangoneadas with everything the chamoy, tajin, and pico pico. I admit the fresh mango on top and throughout was not ripe and really killed my appetite for it. The sorbet that's with it was a little too fake and too sweet for me. I like how at the place I usually go to it tastes tangy and natural, like I'm biting into an actual mango. The pico pico pieces got hard from being cold and I almost broke a tooth, please have a warning or something! I wasn't prepared to bite down and almost crack a molar. If you're willing to sell old corn at least make sure there isn't mold. The flavor was really nasty, stingy with the Cheeto dust and I had order four elotes, and one of them came without Chile power. I went in here for the first time today. They have a large selection of things to choose from and it was really nice and clean inside. The girl that helped us was nice. I got ice cream. Great employees, came in during 4th of july and wanted to tip the workers 100 dollars but they don't take card tips i asked why and they said they don't. Probably bc of management, tips is amazing way for you employees to earn more money. Smh read more

I ordered an esquite and an ilote here in the fallbrook michoacana and I came home and the esquite has nothing but water in it and a little bit of maynoise they for got the salsa and cheese and the corn taste as if it came from a can . They need to have real Hispanics working there to teach them . The ilote corn on a stick tasted so bad and saugy as if the corn was a few days old. Very poor customer service. I paid so much money I had also bought 3 hot cheetos with cheese. And turbo chips. . But this is rediculous I will never come back to this place and if you go to google to get the number to try to call them they dont have a number listed because they probably dont want to deal with all the complaints they get. My husband had to take it back and she said it was the maynoise that's making it bad and my husband told her no it's your old corn it taste old and saugy and you dont know how to make them because we had came in before and this place just doesnt know how to make nothing. Trash ass place if I could give 0 starts, I would. Their corn tastes like it's from a can and they look grey and taste very bland and soggy. You're better off making your own and end up saving money because all their items are not cheap at all and they taste trash so this is definitely my last time getting anything from there. I tried this place with my husband. The service was terrible, the staff treated us like they didn't want to help us and we were bothering them. I got the feeling that they felt like we didn't belong there. We were even asked if we lived in Fallbrook when we checked out, and when we said yes the lady behind the register acted surprised. I won't return here. I will keep driving to Oceanside for this kind of stuff because obviously this shop doesn't want to be bothered with my business. Walked in and the location was well kept and great music was playing. They had a wide variety of frozen ice cream and delicious goods. I had gone in to get some esquites (corn in a cup). The woman working behind the counter was very quiet and very unwelcoming and on top of that she was not wearing a mask. Funny when the sign at the door is requesting that customers come in with some type of facial barrier. My girl friend and I were served our cups of corn and the presentation looked great. Once we had already left amongst the first bite the corn looked very dark and odd. The taste was awful and actually tasted like hominy . The corn tased as if it was already old sitting in the water which it was boiled in. On top of it all the corn was cold so therefore the toppings did not mix well. I love the Michoacana in general and I understand they just opened this location but the customer service here has been pretty awful. I went in there not even being acknowledged that I even walked in the store. I only ordered two drinks and it seriously took 25 minutes, mind you there was no one else in the store besides me. I waited and waited patiently. And the last time I came I was told they don't sell things that were clearly on the menu, I believe it was just pure laziness from the employees part. Please hire people who enjoy to be at there job after there getting paid to do customer service. Learn to do your job with some delinquency and passion if not maybe find another career. read more
