The quality, taste, and consistency are always great, which is why I keep coming back. That said, the customer service is often questionable. When you walk in, the staff rarely acknowledge you--no "hello," no greeting, nothing--which immediately makes the place feel unwelcoming. While ordering, the staff can sometimes make the experience uncomfortable. I'm not expecting anyone to hold a full conversation with me, but a basic hello or acknowledgment would go a long way and is really just common courtesy. This most recent visit stood out enough that it made me feel genuinely uncomfortable while ordering. I really enjoy the food here, but the lack of basic friendliness takes away from the overall experience. Fine. I got regular bowl and hokkaido milk tea. Average id say. Rice is not sushi rice or sticky rice really... more like jasmine rice? Veggies were fresh... but meat tasted a bit like tap water. So poki id say is sub par... The tea is fine. Actually the caramel drizzle saved it and really enjoy it so thank you. I would come back just for the tea. On our way to Japanese food and saw this new store. Wow...finally a boba and poke bowl to go to in Fallbrook. Store name can be revised. The layout is tad bit confusing (if you don't see the sign). If you are getting a bowl you start right away upon entrance but if you are getting just drinks you go straight to the cashier. What is the "i" after "dragon" and before "tea". Maybe simple Dragon Tea would have been better but to each their own. We weren't prepared to get boba drink but we knew our son would want one so we got a basic Thai tea boba. Wow...it was expensive! The price of the bowls were pricey too but I will go try that next time. Overall...really can't complain about price if there isn't anything else out this way. If it's decent then it's worth the price....cuz it will cost more in gas trying to go to the next convenient location. read more

I love poke I can literally eat poke every single day. This place is super clean. Super nice to eat at whether you're sitting down or just taking to go super simple I ordered online and it was ready for me. Their drinks are really good. if you get green tea, I suggest letting it sit if you have popping pearls in it because the green tea is very strong. But I ordered from here twice while I was there visiting my family for two weeks over the holidays. My mom loves it and will go there at least once a week or two weeks. I've been to several other Poki Poki's in North County. This is the one closest to my work and thank goodness it's an option in Fallbrook now! I can't speak for the drinks because I've never had them, but the bowls are amazing. Service is pretty fast and there's a good amount of toppings to choose from. I came here because I was realllllly craving a boba and driving out to Temecula from Fallbrook is kind of a trek during rush hour. I ordered the Classic Jasmine Milk Tea - The boba was soft and the sweetness level was good, but the tea could have been a little stronger. Also, I waited 15 minutes for my drink which I felt was a tad on the long side since there were 3 people in front of me all ordering drinks as well (docked 1 star for that). So I've been to this place a few times. The boba is 5 stars and honestly, I wish there was more stars to give just for the boba. The bowls? I've had better. Way better. The ahi is slimy and not very good. The portions of fish are tiny - so don't be fooled by the 'they offer 3 when others offer 2'. Was a little disappointed with the toppings/sauces. Would like to see crispy onions and soy sauce offered rather than 'doing it yourself'. The sesame oil adds a really light and refreshing taste and really did make my bowl more flavorful. Staff is so great - service is really slow. Should allow you to order boba first because the wait time after your bowl is ready is disappointing. I'll keep going to the establishment for the boba and only choose salmon and shrimp going forward. read more

I was really excited that there is finally a poke place here in town, and I heard so many good things on "friends of Fallbrook" Facebook group that I couldn't wait to come try it. I am really hoping that I came on an off night and maybe it's new and they are still working the kinks out. My bowl was just ok- the fish did not taste fresh, and actually tasted fishy. Not like how fish is supposed to taste, it just wasn't right. I was afraid to finish eating it. I ate maybe 8-10 bites and decided I shouldn't keep eating it. What was great about this place?
