This visit, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try their seasonal special: lavender, double cookie dough, and peppermint. Surprisingly, the combination was absolutely delicious -- unique, bold, and perfectly balanced. From the outside, the shop looks small, but once inside, it opens up into a spacious and inviting space. The staff was friendly and patient, especially with my group as we debated which flavors to choose. That said... when did ice cream become such a luxury? Between my seasonal scoop and a two scoop cup, the total came out to nearly $20 -- definitely unexpected. Still, the quality and flavors make Jeni's hard to resist.

Thankfully, I watched someone else's order before ours arrived and was able to remove some of the ice cream and put it into a separate cup for myself. I didn't notice any high chairs, although I wasn't specifically looking for them. The ice cream itself was good but fairly average. The highlight for me was the cute building and old-fashioned atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't the best fit for our family.
