I always look forward to a nice sweet treat after a long day and La michoacana is always my favorite place to go. I have enjoyed each flavor I try and they have a huge variety always fresh and satisfying. I definitely recommend trying the creamy flavors if you are a sweet lover and the fresh sour flavors are amazing on hot days when you want something refreshing! This place is a rip off. Normally la Michoacana sells you 4 fruits cut up in a small container. This place only gives you two choices. I was sold mango + pineapple for 9 dollars. The reason being "we're not like other places, we cut up our fruit at the time of order". Don't come here unless you want to be ripped off. read more

The place is very clean and bright lighting...they're not hiding anything. We ordered a large Bionico to go and it was a big hit with family members. A good variety of fresh fruits like papaya, strawberries, apples, cantaloupe and more I don't recall. Fresh sweet cream and granola mix was provided separately as we didn't know if the family was allergic to these items and it also kept fruit from becoming soggy. Maaaaaaaaaaan, this place is gonna put the elotero who walks around town outta business! The elote entero (whole corn) here is the BEST I've ever had. That corn is SWEET, and they know how to layer that mayo, cheese, butter and chile on it! They've also got all the other classic Mexican "antojitos" (snacks) available, as well as the world famous paletas for you. My absolute favorite it the Mango and Chamoy paleta. DANG! That thing is seriously good! Me and my kids come here like once a week now! read more

-Service (not well explained) The young man didn't want to sell us two different ice cream flavors. When the customer after us was able to order the two different flavors of ice cream. I asked why they couldn't sell the same to us. Then the lady explained we had to buy two different flavors. After the fact we had already purchased. They could have explained as we were ordering. -Options (ice cream) They did although have a variety of ice cream flavors. Some were unique to name a few piñon, guava, etc. read more

31 Flavors who!? You haven't tasted flavors like this! Made with fresh fruits and they have awesome flavors such as tres leches, arroz con leche, strawberries and cream, just to name a few! They also have made-to-order drinks that include fresh fruit, ice cream, chamoy, etc. AND, they have chips that you can add different toppings to, such as nacho cheese. We always come back to stock up on our popsicles aka paletas. I would give 5 stars IF their ice cream place didn't reek of Fabuloso (a popular Mexican disenfectant used to clean!) Wnen you walk in an icee cream shop, you should be able to smell the fresh fruits and sweet smell of the ice cream. read more

We were visiting from San Jose, CA and we stopped by after searching for an ice cream place on Yelp. I'm so glad we did, everything was so delicious! Their ice cream is the REAL DEAL. Doesn't taste artificial or too sweet, just perfect! I tried so many flavors that I was indecisive about which one I wanted cause they were all so good I ended up going with the pistachio, but the cheesecake was BOMB too The nachos with jalapeños were yummy too.. will definitely be back next time I'm in the LA area!! read more

Sucks that I just paid $16.00 for 2 esquites. Worst part about this is that they had NO mayo in the cup. They girl making it even asked if we wanted lime. Guess what No lime either. So I got a bunch of melted clumped up cheese and corn swimming in corn water. read more

I love their Mangoladas! The place is always clean and smells like Fabuloso (lol). The employees are nice and they give free samples in case you aren't sure what you want. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, but my favorite is Mango and Limon. They have punch cards and you get a free ice cream after 10. There was no seating available as it was take out only. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and mask are required before you can go in, no exceptions. read more

By far the nicest Michoacana, I've ever been to. It's really big, and as soon as we walked in, we were hit with that authentic, clean smell of Fabuloso. The woman who took our order was very pleasant, and patient since it didn't know what I wanted. I was extremely surprised to find this gem, in this shopping center. This was gross and waaaaay too salty and watery, I feel like I just wasted my money. I've had waaay better this was more like a watery corn soup with too much salt... so disappointed. The corn tasted old. Sign outside says they are under new management so I figured they would start off good but no way. Service was okay. I asked for a small elote en vaso. The woman asked me if I wanted everything in it to which I answered yes. I tipped her. I came to eat my snack & it was too spicy. I tried to eat past it but my stomach began to hurt before I got halfway through the cup. So I went to go ask for a less spicy elote en vaso. The same lady said she couldn't give me another, less spicy elote en vaso without charging me for it. I went on to tell her it is making my stomach hurt. She laughed. I also found a green corn kernel and other inedible parts of corn in the cup. I was completely unsatisfied and upset about this experience. I won't be going back. read more

I visited in the afternoon with a friend and I got a Mangoneada with mango and fruit ice cream. The Mangoneada had a generous serving of frozen mango bits on top; there was enough that I could eat the whole thing while still having bits of mango at the bottom of the cup! I chose to put both the fruit and mango ice cream in mines. The fruit ice cream had a strong papaya taste, which was very good but in my opinion, would have been even better by itself. I absolutely loved the mango ice cream and will definitely be coming to get that one again. They have a very large selection of flavors and I will definitely be coming back to try more! Ordered $50 worth of bubblegum paletas--they tasted horrible and didn't even have the gum balls on the bottom like they typically do. The prepackaged paletas they sell at the gas station taste better than these--with freezer burn and all. Ordered two regular churros and they sent me two churros filled with some gross gooey filling. Disappointed to say the least, what a waste of money. read more

Located in a sad strip mall in a sketch part of town... Right across the street from the historic baseball field where they've filmed countless movies/tv shows! Definitely wouldn't come here at night, but well worth the trip out here during the day! The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is the pungent smell of Fabuloso floor cleaner~ they keep this place SUPER clean! The employees are friendly & there are a ton of paletas & ice cream flavors to choose from. My girls and I have yet to try anything that we didn't like! The paletas are all really good~ you can get them dipped in chocolate & covered with toppings like coconut, peanuts, etc. But lately we've been coming for Tosti-esquites & Taki-esquites... They are AMAZING!!! They cut the bag of chips open & top them with freshly cut corn off the cob, mayo, cheese, lime, & your choice of hot sauce (ours is Valentina)... OMG... Life-changing, albeit diabetes in a bag (lol)! We've been to a LOT of paleta type places like these, but this one is our favorite by far! The product is good, but your workers are very rude. My boyfriend and I came in about 2 days ago. He's been there many times, it was my first time. We came in and there was no line, we got walked by several times and ignored and then a rush of people came in and they continued to keep passing us. Finally because we were glaring at them for so long, one girl told us in Spanish that she couldn't help us because she only spoke Spanish and another girl would come and help us.....my boyfriend is full blooded mexican and Spanish is his first language. He told her I do speak Spanish and she just ignored us until the next lady came. We got passed up by 3 different guests with 3 workers at the counter....I don't know about you, but that's pretty racist if you ask me. Don't assume someone doesn't speak the language just because they look like a guero. read more

Donuts: The donuts are pretty, that's for sure. Plenty of options and donuts I think ranged in pricing depending on the specialty level. The ones we got range from $4-$7. We got half a dozen donuts along with breakfast items & coffee to try. We got the ube mochi, hello kitty character, unicorn, Banana Pudding, Oreo and Nutella donuts to try. We added an extra shot to the cold brew. The cold brew was good. The Ube Vietnamese coffee was good too. It's a premade coffee drink and not customizable. It's more on the sweeter end than a traditional Vietnamese coffee. I usually like it not as sweet but it was the combo that I was curious about and went with it. Good flavors. Wished the coffee was a bit more bolder for the Vietnamese coffee part but it's not bad. Service was nice and friendly. Service was fast, friendly, and just good energy all around--no stress, no chaos, just vibes. I genuinely wish they had one closer to me because I would 100% be that person pulling up way too often. There isn't any seating inside, although there is room at the right of the entrance for a table or countertop with barstools. I requested to upgrade to the "Like It" size, and the employee then filled the first two cups to the correct amount. Shortly after, another customer ordered two kid-size and two "Like It" sizes, and all of her cups were filled generously and over the rim. I pointed this out and asked that my children's cups be filled consistently with the other customer's order, but the employee refused. He then told me he would not give me the third ice cream at all. At that point, I placed the other two cups on the counter and left the store.
