Under new ownership! Used to be Rinconcito Mexicano at this location but they are now La Barca Bakery #2! Pictures attached of all the menus and bakery items. They've got drinks too! Cashier was super friendly and answered all my questions about the confusion of restaurant names. This location does not have a phone number set-up for pick up orders. They are open from 5am-8pm Monday through Friday. Will update with pictures of my chorizo breakfast burrito. It was our last morning visiting the area and happened to run across the panadería by chance. The bolillo was just coming out of the oven it was soft and warm. Picked up a couple of those and some pan dulce. Everything was very good. We wish the pieces were marked if the were filled we didn't realize u til we got home. It's unfortunately off of busy road not easy to park not easy to get out of your car to get inside the place. It's a little hole in the wall place but the Palm dulce was fresh. I believe they sell tamales as well and they were pretty good. My only complaint is the location. And how hard it is to park and get back in and out of your car cuz of the traffic. read more

I am very disappointed how I was treated. I have been buying tamales weekly from this bakery for months and I always get chicken tamales. I went in the morning and bought 8 tamales before I came to work. I open the bag and I have pork tamales. I am allergic to pork. I called and they will only replace if I go in now. I explain I'm at work. Won't return. Won't be going back and disappointed since I've been a great customer n bringing business to them. We were looking for a place for tamales and did a search on Yelp. This place did not disappoint. The tamales are excellent. We had planned on eating them the following day but when we picked up our order they just smelled so good that we had to try one as soon as we got to the car. OMG talk about a great flavor!!! The best pan dulce and birote in town. Great variety and yummy taste. They have tamales and other food but I've never tried it. Now the 3 stars are for their customer service and their cleanliness. There are 2 ladies that work the cash register who always have an attitude when I go. They never greet me and are simply not friendly to say the least. Zero customer service skills. Normally I would just stop going but their pan dulce really is the business. Their cleanliness is another issue. I went once and there was a fly inside where they keep the bread, I told one of the ladies and she said she would get to it but I didn't see her do anything and that time I did end up leaving empty handed. The trays used to pick your pan are never clean either. I hate to always have to ask to have my tray wiped clean. I find myself going less and less because I encounter these same problems, might just make the extra drive further down to another bakery. read more

You have to be bright and early on the weekend if you want to have there food. A hole in the wall. The place isn't the prettiest. They have some seating inside to have your meal. It's pretty busy so people are all around while you are having your meal. My go to place for pozole. The pozole is served with very spicy chili. Do not make a mistake and drown your pozole with all the chile you will regret it later. Yes, you have to go very early. It's only served on the weekends. They have menudo, birria and great tamales. Having grown up in household where we often had delicious warm bolillos every weekend, I was really bummed about not finding a place where I could buy them and keep the tradition going. Tamales!!! Thanks again Yelpers for reviewing with honesty. The holidays always brings the smell and taste for tamales! Always looking for good, meaty and reasonably priced. It's always the hole in the walls that satisfy this need. Without me having to take a trip to LA I pulled up and took home 1/2 dozen chicken. If you follow me and read my reviews you know how I am about chicken and how it must be fully cooked. Often people just throw in all kinds of parts of the meat when making these and that just boils my blood!!!! So I often inspect my bites and this has passed the test with flying colors! Mind you I've only eaten 2 thus far but the meat is legit! No fat, no sightings of veins etc! I'll update my review should my other family members find something different but for the most part we're family so we are all on the same page when it comes to eating! read more
