That said, the food has some catching up to do. The complimentary bruschetta is a nice touch in concept but the execution falls flat. The bread is a basic sourdough with a thin, uneven drizzle of olive oil and herbs. Some pieces arrived nearly bare. A little more care and consistency here would go a long way. For my entrée I tried a salmon pasta special. The salmon itself had a lovely texture, which gave me hope but the sauce threw everything off. It was oddly sweet which clashed with what should have been a savory balanced dish. It's not bad enough to send back but it's not something I'd order again. Overall, this spot has a solid foundation with its friendly and efficient service. It was a pleasant enough experience but don't come with sky-high expectations for the plate.

It came out fast, but I believe all items that our table ordered were not freshly prepared or at least the ingredients were not fresh or stored at proper temperatures to prevent food borne illness. The lasagna my nephew ordered came out with about a cm of grease on the top and was barely edible. The Caesar salad was literally a plate with some lettuce and dressing with mounds of Parmesan all over - no presentation, worse than cafeteria food. I was really excited for this meal and was disappointed and then violently ill. Never going back.

You can get items out of the market space to include drinks in food items to take home. I tried, salad, and meat pizza-all were fabulous and well flavored. Had a sandwich to go, probably would have been better in the restaurant, the bread was kind of difficult to eat later. Would return. Good food. Good prices. Parking can be tight.

I've heard constant praise of this spot so we came for lunch yesterday…read more The pizza is yummy. You can get a slice/individual size/family size. I went with a full size of Caesar salad, slice of pep and a Diet Coke and my partner got two slices of pep. I completely understand it was a very busy day for them (from the waitress's response to customers), but the wait was a bit unbearable. I got my Caesar salad relatively quickly but finished it with no pizza in sight. The Caesar salad was medium. We hoped because we got slices, that it would be fairly quick. We even asked the waitress how long a customized whole pizza would take and she said approx 30 mins. It took 30 mins to get our slices of pepperoni pizza... Now I understand the pep could have been out but a warning to say "hey it's busier than usual, our slices will also take a while to come out" would be nice. Others had their order taken before us despite arriving a few mins before them. It was chaotic. Almost all tables were full, so I get it. But I just wish there could have been communication. After 30 mins, I finally got up and asked her at the register, "any ETA on the Diet Coke and slices of pizza" to which she finally got me my drink and the slices of pizza followed. I'm not thrilled about waiting on something as simple as a canned soda. Would I visit again for a sit-down lunch? Maybe if I had extra time. Pizza is good and I don't think her service was poor. Just a little more communication would have been appreciated.

What a delight!!! Tonight was my second time visiting here (first time was restaurant week-…read moreeverything was great) and I can't wait to visit again. For restaurant week I made a reservation, but this time (on a Saturday) we just popped in after visiting All Good, the beer/wine/cocktail next door (they also have an awesome antique spot). I don't leave reviews, normally, unless it's super great or horribly bad, and I would 1,000% like to shout out some positivity for this Italian spot. Massive Plus: - told we had to wait at least 30-45 minutes wherever by a very nice and sunny redheaded host (I did not get their name, but they were really nice and had a super cute dress and I just want them to know that they're awesome- hence being more descriptive). We got a text in about 10 minutes that our space was ready!!!! We had gone back to All Good to wait (BTW, if you're waiting for Cibo and go next door to get a beer, your drinks are $1 off!). We tried to chug, but we decided that our burpfarts would be best saved for after dinner than delicious IPA chugging, so we left the majority of them on the bar. -Food: Just order everything. We were sat at the bar and had a front seat view of the kitchen. Although everyone on the line was awesome, I asked the bartender/server the name of the person at the head of the line. His name is Gayo and he is a f***ing bad***!!! The restaurant was busy as heck and he just...did it. Watching him (as well as the rest of the kitchen staff, bar staff, and servers) work, was a pretty gorgeous ballet that I would suggest you pair with a bottle of wine. -That being said- our server/bartender was Christine and she was such a delight!!! I CAN NOT stress enough how many amazing people you get to meet when you're relaxed, calm, and have a sense of humor when you're out dining. Christine suggested an amazing Rosé (I definitely could chug that...nbd) was kind, funny, sweetly sassy, and you could really tell that she had dealt with busy days many many times before. There is almost zero space between the bar/kitchen/pass and everyone does such a great job dealing with it. Myself and my husband have already decided this is our new Italian spot and we hope you will love it too!!!

Dear Cibo, you have officially lost your way. My family would come here weekly prior to COVID…read more During COVID we ordered delivery a lot. Over the past couple of years we come in, but the experience hasn't been the same. Last night we walked out shortly after we had been seated due to the first 10 minute impressions. We stood in your entrance, waiting to be seated for 5 minutes and 6 different employees passed in front of us and didn't say a word...two employees passed us by multiple times. Finally, someone decided we were important enough to acknowledge and seat. As we followed her to the table, we were able to view her baby blue bra with her backless spaghetti strap dress. JFC...develop some uniform standards already so that I am not being engaged by someone in their trashy underwear. She came back to drop off a dirty water carafe and didn't say a word...not hello, not can I get you something to drink, not so and so is your server...nothing. After sitting for another 3 minutes with no interaction we got up and left. You were excellent at one point in your history. You had standards, you cared about service, and your food was reasonably priced. So basically, you are now offering much less for more. This is how restaurants go out of business in this ultra competitive hospitality environment.
