It's open on Sunday yayyyy! I had an appointment for 3pm and I arrived early. Well Amy was great most of the ladies are but today my nails wouldn't dry because I got regular polish. Typically I get dip powders or gel. I decided I need a break. Anyhoo Amy re polished my nails and they still wouldn't dry. I asked for quick dry spray which they accommodated. Unfortunately it still wasn't dry. Next time I'll tip before I leave. Also, I was told why didn't I get dip powder like I normally do. I know it wasn't meant maliciously BUT it's my money. I've been coming here for over a year now, and the experience has been consistently amazing. The customer service is always phenomenal. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure you leave happy. The quality of the nails is unmatched. They use high-quality products, and their attention to detail is incredible. Nails were okay, asked for regular nail polish. The polish is already smudging 20 minutes after service. My issue lies with one of the technicians (has short brown hair), Lan Chen, who kept harassing me during the appointment. She was constantly harassing me for a tip during the appointment. Before she applied the nail polish, she asked for payment and tip. I paid for the service and she asked for me to tip later via Venmo. I did tip in order for her to back off but the persistence for a tip throughout the entire session ruined the experience for me. read more

My daughter and I have had three appointments here so far, gel manicures and pedicure. This nail salon is by far the best of the many we've tried. We love the clean, wrapped packet of tools that is used for each manicure. The estheticians make sure each nail is perfectly clean, cuticles trimmed, nails filed and shaped before the polish is carefully applied. They are gentle, too, never painfully twisting my arthritic hands. My daughter requested a design based on a photo she brought and the esthetician recognized it as a magnetic design which she artfully applied. It was amazing! Highly recommend. read more

This was insane. Had an appt for 2:00. Hands not touched until 2:30. Had a hard cut off at 3:30 to go home to get ready for an event. The girl next to me has her fingers in foil for 45 minutes. Told the manicurist I wanted gunmetal chrome French tips. Pushed my cuticles back incredibly painfully. Took an hour globbing on incredibly thick chunky acrylic powder. Shaving it off to make it not so insanely crazy thick huge chunky fingernails took what felt like forever. The manicurist then proceeded to tell me that french nail painting (80% less polish) would be $25 more. And $20 more for chrome (which is a .00001 gram of a glitter product) that takes less than two minutes of applying. She had no idea what she was doing at all. I know I have thick larger nail beds but this hot take on a mani was not it. They cut my cuticles and made them bleed. My nails look like disgusting gross globby thick chunky nasty trashy rave chick nails. And I'll be stuck with them for three weeks! read more

I called in to make an appointment a day before, and received my desired time without any issue. [scheduled appt - Friday at 10:45] I scheduled a gel pedicure, and I decided to upgrade my services by getting the vegan spa pedicure ($50), gel ($20). This pedicure included a sugar scrub, a leg masque, heel paraffin, stone and a 15 min massage. My nail tech worked wonders on my big toes that broke! I was sure if they'd have to use a silk wrap treatment, but she shaped them well enough where a cut/file is all I needed. I try to do my nails at home since it is so pricey but once in awhile I splurge on professional mani because they look so nice and last so long. I came in as a walk in for dip and the nail tech really rushed on my nails - you can see the results are very bumpy, not filed to be uniform and not smoothe. They look terrible and there's dip powder residue around the nail bed. She accidentally smudged the thumb twice (this does happen) and struggled to set the thumb because she was really rushing checking before it was dry.. then finally just used gel for the nail since it wasn't drying fast enough. It still has a dent in it. I ultimately just left after she struggled with the one nail.. i think she would've done a better job if she didn't rush so much. I absolutely hate to waste alll that money when I want to immediately remove the polish when I get home. Considering asking for a re-do. I've never had to ask for that before read more

I don't think I've ever left a bad review on Yelp. I'm usually singing the praises for most of the goods and services I've received, so...this is highly unusual. After just 9 days, my dip manicure started chipping and it's gotten worse and worse. I also did not have time to get it fixed right away. I am wary of going back there to get them to fix it, since I have had many dip manicures at other salons that lasted over three weeks without incident. I found it odd that they didn't use UV light to dry the layers. My daughter was there with me at the same time getting a pedicure and felt it was overpriced for the level of service. Three weeks later and my nails didn't break! Went to get them done yesterday, but unfortunately wasn't able to see Arielle again due to time conflicts. While still a decent dip powder manicure, I wasn't as happy with it this time (blue nails). I tried to capture it in the picture, but it's almost like there's dust/powder stuck under the top coat. Their prices seem to keep going up & then they advertise one price but charge a higher price (I've never seen where gel/dip removal wasn't included when getting the same service). They've also stopped trimming cuticles the past few times as well, so my edges look so sloppy within days of the service. I hoped maybe it was just how one person did it, so gave them another chance since I've used them consistently for so long, but it seems to be the new norm. Let me preface this by saying, I've exclusively gone only to this nail place for a year now, and my nails are ALWAYS amazing. Today, I just got my nails done, again, brilliant as usual, I love them. However today, I was really pumped to cash in a full punch card for the nail bar for my free service as listed on the card. I spend anywhere from $50-up to $65 per service on my nails the last year, as reflected on the card each time. I used to do full set acrylic, and now I've gone to SMS probably the last 5-6 times. Imagine my surprise when I am told a full punch card is only worth $30 (base price service)!!!!!! It states clearly on the card, a full card is worth a service of equal or lesser value, which should be my full service of what I've spent there the last TEN times. It says nowhere it's only worth $30 for the base price of their service. After going back and forth with them about their policy, they would not budge even when I pointed out to them, they should be listing that on their card instead of their false advertising. You'd think they would be willing to honor what their card says and then make necessary changes, NOPE. I paid $30 today with a full card that should have been a free, WHOLE, service, as to what I normally paid to fill up the card. LA Nail Bar, I sincerely hope you reach out to make this right with me or change your cards to reflect the TRUE value of a full card no matter what you spend on each service. EXTREMELY disappointed. This once loyal customer will not be back, and will be spreading the word on this poor customer service unless it is made right. read more
