The salon was super clean, and everyone there was really friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of OPI colors--maybe even more than I realized, so I'll definitely be back to check out the rest! Natreese did my color change on my toes & Rosana did my hands color change. I enjoyed both of their services. Natreese really took her time applying and making sure the color was precise on my toes. Rosana did a decent manicure color job, however I felt like she was rushing, you can see the difference of the first and bottom coat on the edges of my nails and I personally don't like that. (I posted picture for reference). I was very impressed with the organization they have in this salon. I made an appointment the day before, as I was in for the weekend for a wedding and my manicure had chipped. I checked on yelp and found this establishment nearby. They already had name tags made of the clients who had appointments for the day, it also included the service that they needed. I found that to be very helpful so the workers know who they are working with and there isn't much confusion. The staff themselves had black top scrubs with their names on it which is nice to know exactly who is working on you and if you like their service you can schedule with them in the future. Everything was very clean. They also have someone walking around providing a small complimentary neck massage. It was exactly what I needed. There is a small clear bowl towards the back if you would like to tip her for the nice quick service. (You can also opt out of getting the massage.) I was informed that they also provide other services upstairs such as lashes, lash lift & tint, waxing and massage. Lot's of nail polish colors to pick from. Parking isn't the easiest, I made sure to leave half an hour before and was able to find 2 hour street parking in the streets between, not the Main Street. I did see there's a parking lot about a block up on the main street, you do have to pay for that thought. Overall it was a good place, I payed $40-$45 (I forgot how much exactly it was) for both, my hands and feet color to be change which I believe it's a lot. I hoped it would be a perfect job. Came in for a mani & pedi. They do not do water soak for mani. They do give you some collagen gloves & massage, which is a nice touch. My manicure came out ok. They did try to charge me extra for a nail polish the receptionist actual selected w/o informing me of the upcharge. It was reluctantly removed after I questioned it. The pedicure was fine as well, although she could have done a better polish/cleanup job. I only came here due to the location while I waited for my son to complete his placement test. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a nail salon. I went in for a dip powder manicure and asked for tip extensions on a few of my nails, as they had broken and were significantly shorter than the rest. I also asked for the chrome effects powder on top. The nail technician told me she would do the tip extensions but was not sure if she would have time for the chrome effects, even though my appointment was at 5:30, and they close at 7:00. Then, when the nail technician started on my nails, she skipped the tip extensions altogether, even though that was not what we had agreed on. She ended up doing the chrome effects powder, but never mentioned that it could cost an extra $20 on top of the $55 for the dip manicure. I left the salon with uneven and misshaped nails. My left hand nails were left long and almond shaped, while my right hand nails were cut short and round shaped. Overall, the manicure was done very sloppily, and it felt like they did not care about me at all as a customer and cared more about moving my appointment along to move on to another. I ended up paying $84 for a terrible manicure that I will need to go elsewhere to get redone tomorrow. read more

It's my go to place in the neighborhood for nails, waxing, massages and even lashes. It's a convenient location for me. I am one of the earlier customers of Polish Lounge and have seen them grow over the years. They have a lot more services now. Everyone is friendly for all the times I went. The quality in staff in term of nails improved a lot. There could be some more improvements with nail art. Similar to lashes, there is only one person who does them. She is good. It's just harder to make appointments when there is only one person doing it. Overall, it is lovely to have Polish Lounge in the neighborhood. I really appreciate them. I come for pedicures, which for the most part is great when it comes to cleaning my nails up. Paint job isn't usually something I rave about (not even coats/sides aren't fully painted), but for what it's worth/convenience of the location it gets the job done. BUT this past week I came for dip powder manicure (done by Feliza) and underarm wax (done by Rosana) and both services were fantastic, professional, and I'm very happy with the results. I live in Chicago, but was in town visiting family and desperately needed a gel mani and pedicure before a wedding in a few days. I called Polish to get an appointment, and they were quickly able to get me in for the following day. Upon arrival, you are asked to grab a name tag. I didn't put in on at first (because this is weird and made me feel like I was in kindergarten) but was quickly asked to wear it. They have a large color selection that was organized by shade. I didn't like that they did not specify if they had the matching gel color of a polish- so I was a bit disappointed when the color I chose for my pedicure didn't have the matching gel. Most nail salons have them labeled to specify if they have it in gel. The pedicure was top quality. However The pedicure station is really uncomfortable. It's not in a reclining chair like most are, and you have to sit straight up on a bench. They offered drinks and a free back massage while getting my manicure. Staff was super friendly. Overall this place was pretty good- just definitely didn't like it as much as my typical place! read more

I was very excited to try this place but I have mixed feelings. I wanted a polish change on both my hands and feet since I recently gotten a mani and pedi but was not allowed lol no polish change here so I scheduled a mani and pedi. They are VERY strict here, almost uncomfortably, with the covid regulations and overall energy. They spray the bottle of your shoes and literally will not let you step inside without a whole security check. Ok so I was rushed to the back to pick out a color and rushed to pick a color (I felted my entire experience was rushed) with the help of the receptionist picking up the polish bottles, etc. I was seated with a nail tech who cut and filed my nails horribly. I hate telling people how to do their jobs, in any industry, but I also don't wanna leave with jacked up nails!! My nails were very long but I broke one to the skin while on vacation so I had her cut them all short. Should be easy! I kept asking her to make them even and the same shape. They literally were so crooked and some round some square. She started speaking in another language quite a bit and then had a guy finished my nails. He did a great job fixing the shape. They moved me to the pedi bowl and my feet soaked as he painted my nails there. (Rushed) She started working on my feet and was pushing and pulling my feet just rushing (what it felt like) the whole time. I noticed imperfections in my hand nail polish which could've been correctly and at the end of my mani, my hands were so dry! At this point I was just so over it. At this point, you're probably wondering why I have given 4 stars. I had all intention to give 3 but all in all my manicure and pedicure was solid! 3.5. I would def give them another shot. I would maybe request a different nail tech, but I'd give them another shot. Not sure what exactly I don't love about this place. The nail technicians are talented, pedicures make you feel like you are at the spa. Most nail techs are friendly, some are not. I definitely feel rushed out even when I'm not in a rush to be in and out. I think that's the part I don't love. The music playlist is great. Lots of pop. This is my local salon and have been going for the last 3.5 months. All in all I love the job that they do with my gel manicure. The price is also very fair. It lasts for about 3 weeks and the color selection is great. I do feel as though it does seem a bit rushed because of the allotted time slots, but the place is extremely clean and the ladies are polite. I'm surprised by how disappointed I was with my experience yesterday... First, the good: everyone was friendly, their COVID precautions are great, because they use natural products the place doesn't reek of chemicals, and that hot stone massage on my legs felt great. The not-so-great: when I booked, I was told (and emailed) that I'd be receiving an overlapping mani-pedi (pedicure starting at 2:45, manicure starting at 3). That sounded great to me, as I had a rather busy day. However, they did a pedicure then a manicure, so I was still there at 4:30 PM! I noticed that the polish on both my thumbs was uneven, so I asked if they could redo them, and they did... and the polish is still uneven. The technician (who was very nice) explained that it was because of the way my nails were shaped... but no nail tech has ever had a problem before? Salon charges extra for a gel soak off or you can try their "at home kit" which damaged and ripped off the top layer of my nail! I stopped going to the salon for 3-4 months because of it. I received a "we miss you 20% off your next service" *note that the only "rules and restrictions on the email are that it cannot be combined with other discounts. " I decide to give the salon another chance... I got a gel pedicure (total $55) when I showed the receptionist the email she tells me the total after discount is $51! Hmm this doesn't sound like 20% off. She explains that the way they "enter it in the system" is that it's 35$ pedicure + 20$ for gel. So I'm only eligible for 20% on 20$!!! WHAT A SCAM!!! Before they stopped providing the soak off service i was a local customer for 3+ years. My past services were never rang up this way. Cheap and deceiving. I always like to try the new more trendy places here in the city and i must say i was impressed. The decor here is very chic. My services were a little bit more on the pricey side but well worth it. I paid 63 dollars for a pedi and mani. However my pedicure came with hot rocks, hot wax, and a sea salt scrub which i usually pay extra for anyway. They had complimentary massages while you sit to dry your nails. And they also have wine tea and coffee if you would like it. After reading reviews, I booked an appointment for a gel mani and regular pedi. I used the MindBody App and it couldn't have been easier. I didn't have a preference for technician so I got my desired time slots for both. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave me a brief tour of the different Opi gel and regular polishes. She was happy to give me color advice before I sat down for my mani. I definitely needed the color advice- there were so many gel and regular polish options to choose from! Angel handled both services and was professional, thorough and efficient. I was able to sip the glass of wine he provided as he worked. Pedicures can be a little painful for me but he was gentle. The pricing was market average; for the quality service and nice atmosphere, that's a deal for me. Like most salons, you can't leave tip on the card. I absolutely loved that they allowed you to Venmo the tip to your technician. The salon was clean and had a posh atmosphere without being uppity or pretentious. The rest of the clientele seemed down to earth people looking for good service. First time and last time. The person who did my pedicure made me bleed not once, but twice. She cut my cuticle, and then was so rough with the pumice stick that she ripped my skin and made me bleed. Not once did I get an apology from her, or anyone else in that shop. They awkwardly did my feet and nails, all at the pedicure tub, which was very uncomfortable, then stuck size 6 flip- flops on my size 11 feet. Almost two years ago, I came here after taking off my acrylic nails that I had for the longest time. Underneath my nails were long and brittle. I had heard great things about Polish Nail Lounge so I thought I'd give it a try. I went in and had an appointment with Nash, she was super friendly and I had already picked out my color. She discussed with me my overall nail health and recommended that I try the powder nails so that my nails could be strengthened. She said they were very weak from the acrylic and that they wouldn't last long with regular gel. Since she didn't specialize in powder nails, she referred me to another nail technician. I had the powder done, and I couldn't have been happier. Within six months, I had long healthy nails for the first time in my life. I owe that to Nash and the Polish Nail lounge team. Nash is now my go to technician and I couldn't be happier. My nail health is now extremely important to me and Nash goes above and beyond to make sure that they always look their best. My nails are done every two weeks like clockwork and I love how they treat people. Everyone is treated like a Queen while they are here and it is so refreshing. If you have a 6 o'clock appointment it'll actually be at 6 o'clock unlike most salons that make you wait forever. I can't say enough good things about Polish Nail Lounge. I have been coming to Polish religiously for almost a year and I look forward to it every time! I've been to many a nail salon in the city, and Polish is by far the best. Many nail salons give off the vibe that they're trying to hustle you in and out, but not at Polish! I always feel pampered and relaxed during every visit, and going is the highlight of my week! The quality of work is excellent; I've never had a crack or lift, which has happened at almost every other salon I've been to. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I've gotten great suggestions from their technicians for color and designs. I've been successfully converted to powder (aka dip) which lasts FOREVER. Their all-natural approach to nail and skin care has helped my nails look and feel better. I used to be a nail-biter and my hands were a mess, and now I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go!
