I was also impressed with their level of talent, cause I feel like most nail salons aren't capable of exotic designs. You usually have to go to in home nail techs for that. But no. The lady next to me was getting a Halloween set done with spiders, webs, blood, etc. she it looked so good. This place is good! We came in at like 6:40pm (they close at 7) to get a mani pedi the day before a wedding. We didn't have an appointment (I'm retarded) but the wait wasn't very long! After going through the 5 min rigamarole that is required for me to make any decision, I chose my polish colors. We sat on the couch for a while before we were called. I was with my boo and they accommodated both of us next to each other! This was really appreciated. The girls doing our nails spoke english really well and didn't appear to obviously be talking shit about us in another language. Also they had like CLAW, khloe kardashian tips on in neon yellow and was still able to do our nails. Impressive. Apparently $48 mani pedis here are standard but for a NY bitch I was shocked. I can get a mani pedi for $24, MAYBE $30 in the big apple. This was no frills, no warm rock shit against my leg, absolutely no attempt to massage me whatsoever, which is fine! I posted about this salon exactly 14days ago. So here we are 14 days and $60 later. I'm missing 1 nail from my left hand with 2 others lifting. On my right hand I'm missing 2 nails and the 3 others lifting. The lifting is occurring from the front which tells me the the glue their using is bad. My question is, is that on purpose? Just to answer the common question. I do have my hands in water a lot. But for it to make a difference in my nails, (i.e. washing dishes/dish detergent) I wear plastic gloves all the time. I am also a licensed Cosmetologist so I know product and I am 99.9%certain it's the glue their using as the reason you have to keep going back before your ready or should have too. Usually, other nail salons don't try to remove ingrown nails or go above and beyond the regular pedicure but let me tell you, Anna and Jill were AMAZING! Woohoo!! As good as it gets! I literally have nothing but great things to say. It's clean, its neat, everyone is SUPER nice and my nails consistently look great. They abide by whatever little personal quirks I have about doing my nails. I try to always get my toenails filed instead of cut because of an "accident" at another nail salon. 4 Seasons is completely understanding of that and accommodate me, never have I left dissatisfied or unhappy. Heard great things about this place, so I went to go try it out. Went for a dip manicure with added tips for length. I was pleased at the start of my service until it got to the end. I had noticed my nails were bumpy and all had ridges in them. It has been 2 weeks and the bumps are clearly visible, my friend thought it was a "design".. sadly no. I am torn becuase they do such an incredible job. I put a deposit down on my services to secure an appointment, but I woke up this morning with a stomach virus and can't get out the bed. I called to reschedule and was informed that I will lose my deposit and must put down another deposit to secure a new appointment. I asked if there were no concessions for illness or emergency and the tech kept repeating "that's our policy". I asked if she thought that was fair to penalize people because of sickness to which I got another round of "but that's our policy". I've never had an issue until this time, I don't know what possibly went wrong but I completely wasted $30 . 2 days after getting them done the polish cracked on my thumb nail the first time, then 4 days after getting them done my pointer finger and middle finger completely cracked and chipped . However, the interior is really nice. I came in for full set acrylics, coffin shaped, gel polish with a design on each ring finger. Total came out to be $45. Pros: The people were really friendly They have a good size seating area and water is available Cons: Acrylics - coffin shape was uneven, too thick, and top layer of acrylic was not smooth. (I didnt take good angle pics of this) The nail design - marbling looks pretty sloppy. It looked better in other pictures. The store smelled awful. Overall, maybe its the lady that I got that didnt do the best. She looks like she is in her late 20s with short hair. Never got her name. Had a pretty good experience here. Cane in to do a gel manicure during my lunch break. It wasn't very busy and was seated right away. The color I chose was chrome so I was charged an extra 15$. The male manicurist paid close attention to detail and made sure it came out perfect which it did. I initially wasn't into the color after the manicure it seemed much more metallic than I saw on the sample but it's grown on me! It changes not the light from a blue to a purple. So I had gel nail polish on, the ones that you do yourself at home. Not being an expert at nails I assumed that they would come off as if it was regular nail polish. Anyways, the lady that helped me made a big fuss that it was gel & not normal nail polish. Okay, I understand that it was a mistake for me to say normal nail polish but I believe the reason for me to pay for nail service is so you can accommodate to the best of your ability. If the lady was able to tell it was gel nail polish, I would assume that the correct way to correct a customer is to inform. Absolutely unbelievable. During my entire service she seems edgy like she was having the rose day ever. Horrible attitude. She grabbed on arms constantly to reposition them, flung my hands away when she was completed with it and grabbed my next. She literally held my hand until she left a little mark. Exaggerating? I think not. My reason for not flipping shit, I need to make sure she completes her job responsibility (doing my nails to the best of her ability) before informing about such an horrible experience I had. This has recently become my mani and/or pedi go to spot when wanting to stay right in Philly. I'm always happy with the outcome, I love the extensive amount of color swatches they have, and the establishment is kept clean and tidy. I'm especially a fan of their gel manicure and pedicure deal for $50! Definitely one of the best offers I've seen in the area. They take their time with the procedure which I really appreciate. Although all of the staff is great, I must give a special shout out to my girl, Jill! She is very meticulous, patient, and super friendly. My only complaint is their $5 charge for gel polish removal EVEN if you are getting gels again. The only time they deduct that $5 charge is if you're getting a mani and pedi package. I recently went to get a $25 gel manicure, but had to pay an additional $5 to remove the gel polish I currently had. I was previously getting my nails done at a place a bit outside the city, and I was never charged gel polish removal if I was getting a gel manicure again. I hope I'll someday be able to update my review to five stars if this change is to be made, but until then, four stars from me. read more

I find that there are dozens of color selections from different brands in both regular and gel polish.
