Watch who you go to as they all have different methods and techniques. The person I saw (tony) did a full set, and a week later a fill in. These nails lasted me two weeks, and EVERY SINGLE nail snapped off at the tips (see pic) as easy as press ons. As soon as this happened, I went back in to tell the owner what had happened and I wanted a new set since they were clearly done wrong. They told me it was my fault for what happened and they offered me 50% off to get them redone. I don't know how I could've done anything to make this happen. I have a desk job working 40 hours a week and I take very good care of my nails. I've never had this happen in the 8 years of wearing acrylics until I came to this place. Them blaming me for what happened and refusing to redo the set for free was very upsetting (since it was clearly their fault). I would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service, terrible nail job that didn't last, a waste of money, and just plain out disappointment!!!!! I call to make a reservation with Q because it's a popular and busy place and he's my favorite and does an amazing job! Great pricing too. I was referred here by a coworker and we're both addicted! This place is a big rip off! I went for a French gel manicure and regular pedicure. My tech did not do my cuticles or a hand massage after but my friend got both and was charged extra for it!!! Since when does a manicure not include doing your cuticles or getting lotion put on afterwards and I didn't know it was extra and I was not asked if I wanted it and she did a horrible job on my pedicure. I usually get a tip on my nails and always have a nail salon take them off because they soak them off and it hurts way less. NOT THIS PLACE. The lady promptly starting cutting my tips and ripping them off my nail and when I asked if they could soak them off she said it "takes too much time" however I was watching a lady across from me get hers soaked off. I told my nail tech that her ripping off the tips was hurting a lot and I didn't mind that it would take longer to soak them off but she refused and continued to rip off my nails after asked not to. My nails hurt the entire rest of the day and I could not believe she refused to do what I was asking nicely to do. read more

Price is a little high gel nails look beautiful I always go with the standard French manicure nothing is more classy than a simple French manicure I say I will be coming back the lady that did my nails very professional all of the equipment was cleaned. THE RUDEST people I have ever encountered and probably the greatest lack of customer service I've received from a salon. I have never left less than a 20+% tip and this is the first time I left $0. When customers ask questions, responses should be polite. Talking about one's customers to other customers in English and in Vietnamese is both un-professional and just bad business. One never knows who understands Vietnamese (hint, hint). This salon is very large and was almost empty. No wonder why!!! read more

Very friendly staff and everyone does a great job! My only complaint would be that it gets a little unorganized with scheduling. If you make an appointment you are usually not taken at that time because of double booking. Either way it does not take away from what they do. When someone is doing your nails they take their time. The shellac I got lasted for 3 weeks without chipping or peeling! read more

I went in to try dip for the first time and get a pedicure. Q did my mani and it is amazing! I'm already obsessed with this product and he was so meticulous. The nail techs are good but the time management for appointments is terrible. I had a 1pm appointment and wasn't taken until 2pm. I was 5 minutes late but I shouldn't have had to wait an hour. They were taking walk-ins while I waited. And no Tim, it wasn't 1:15. read more

They have a lot of dip colors here and seem to be getting more each of my visits. They are also giving the place a makeover it looks great. I have to say that the majority of the staff is great (they have many staff members so there's not much of a wait) I've had 1 bad experience with one or them but he seemed better the next visit. I really hate to leave a bad review for independent businesses especially ones that are in my area but I had to comment that this place has one very rude tech that made me never want to come back. The manager who is a male was always kind (I went to the place maybe twice before) and very friendly but on my last visit I had a lady who never smiled, never talked, never even really responded to me at all. I can understand someone not speaking English but does that mean you can't crack a smile? I can understand someone having a bad day but that didn't seem like the case because I saw her laughing and smiling with other people while she was prepping my pedicure. Ok whatever maybe she is shy and I'm not a big talker anyway I prefer not to talk when getting a haircut or anything of that nature.. But then after my pedicure was finished she scoffed and rolled her eyes at my request to sit next to my friend while we get our manicures. Seriously? Is it that big of a deal? My friend was halfway through her full set when I was ready to begin my manicure but at that point I was so shocked at the treatment and lack of just basic common courtesy (non-english speaking people can smile too) that I cancelled my manicure and got out of the seat. That didn't bother this tech at all.. No "why is anything wrong?" Or "are you sure?" None of that.. Just barely a shoulder shrug and an "Ok" as she retreated to the back as if nothing was wrong. Well for this you lost my business and everyone else's that I know. It's hard to justify that attitude when there are so many other nail salons in the area who are friendlier, better quality work, and won't make you feel like you are bothering them and who actually appreciate the business. I highly recommend B&D nails who are just down the road (right next door to The Brewery in the subway plaza) they are very pleasant and do a great job. read more

Terrible salon. I started coming here when the previous owners Tim and Tina still owned the salon. The new owners are horrible!!!! Extremely rude and the salon has gone down hill. I got a pedicure last week. The man who did my pedicure barely cut my cuticles and didn't take any skin/calice off of my feet. When I went back a few days later once my feet dried I was told they would do nothing. The man who did my pedicure skipped so many steps that they usually do when giving a pedicure. I will never come back!! Both of my daughters started going to a different nail salon and now I will be joining!!! read more

This will be the last time I ever go here. I understand the weekends get busy, I myself work in the beauty industry, but when I ask if there's time for a pedicure I'm asking for that moment not two hours from now. I basically waited for almost an hour before finally getting placed at a station. Unfortunately what set me over the edge was be placed at a station where the girl runs the water for maybe a min asked if it was good I said yea thinking she was going to continue to let it fill up and add the soap, but that didn't happen. Instead she shuts it off Immediately and leaves me there. No soap or anything, just luke warm water. I'm assuming someone will be right with me in maybe 10 min. but I sat there for about 30 min as the water is now getting cold and there are at least five people also waiting to get service while their feet are all soaking too. Difference was, they all had people tending to them making sure the water was good and having soap in the foot bath, I was sitting in clear water for 30 min. Overall spent an hour and a half there and I just got up and left at that point. read more

The reason for two stars is because this place is WAY over priced for what they offer on their decent polish nails (I got the dip) and regular polish on my toes. Had to ask multiple times to fill in toe nails where they missed spots, quick massages on feet and none on my hands or wrist. Didn't match the original color on the dip for my nails twice. Extremely rude staff. I recently went into LA nails to get a new set. They told me to pick out my color and take a seat someone would be with me shortly about 5 minutes later I was told to go sit at a desk. I was impressed with how fast it was but soon realized how horrible this place was. Some lady walked over to me didn't say one word put my hands into the machine that takes off your old set and walked away. A HALF AN HOUR LATER the lady that was helping someone else turned around and said "let me see" and after she took a quick glance at my nails said "oh she didn't turn it on" so she turned it on and went back to what she was doing. While the lady who first helped me sat in the vibrating chairs playing on her phone!!!!! Another 30 minutes go by and Mary told me to come sit at her desk so I did. She then told me she wanted me to get dip I responded with a simple "no thank you" she then proceeded to tell me she was going to do dip AFTER I SAID NO THANK YOU! She then said "I do whatever you like" and started laughing and talking to a coworker in a different language which made me feel very uncomfortable and frustrated. No to mention I couldn't even understand a word she was saying when she was talking to me. After this whole long process she told me I was done as I looked at my nails the polish was all messed up and the tips weren't even painted. I was so mad and decided just to go to a different place when I need a fill in. Well let's just say I didn't think I would need a fill in so fast! 3 days later my nail polish was completely destroyed and a nail already fell off. I've been going to this nail salon for at least 18 years now and have never had any issues. The service is usually pretty good depending on who you get to do your nails. Some of the newer less experienced nail techs aren't as great but some are awesome so it's hit or miss but once you find one you like I suggest you stick with them. I usually go to a nail salon in Clawson but due to having surgery I did not want to drive that far. I called at 10am on a Saturday and asked to make an appointment. They were able to get me in within the hour. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and put into a seat. No waiting at all for my appointment time. Again, on a Saturday!! Awesome pedi chairs. Q was my nail tech. He was personable and had a great sense of humor. I LOVE my toes and nails. They also have matching shellac colors to toe nail polish. My other place comes close to the color but they have the exact color. My go to is "Lincoln Park after dark" and they have the shellac color!! I was so happy! I also got my eyebrows waxed and the woman there did an amazing job. I have been going to the same place for over 5 years and I am going to switch over due to the service I received.
