But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

So I told him I wanted Mexican hot chocolate. He looked at me like I was speaking Chinese, so I pulled it up on Google and showed it to him. Strange that a Cabo native has never heard of Mexican hot chocolate, it is served in most places in the city restaurants of Cabo. Anyway we proceeded to the buffet and noticed a lot of the popular items weren't being replenished. I came back 4 different times to check and still the same empty plates remained. Food was decent, service was good, the price was only $20/per person. Do not think I would return as the places downtown were much better than this place just didn't have that large of a selection.

Loved it from start of walking up to it. It doesn't have the tourist look that so many place by the marina have. Inside is just as cozy. Server was very friendly and he made us feel welcome. The treat here were the many flavors of Aqua Fresca and Horchatta. The horchata was the best one we had, very cinnamony. I had a pastor taco and a small steak quesadilla. There is some special cheese they use in mexican quesadillas that really turn me on. It's melty and chewier. But the pastor here was also excellent. We did have a very grumpy server. I think he was just covering for the regular gal while she was on break, but man, he was not happy about it.
