First time to Cabo via a cruise. Wasn't sure where to go upon getting off of the water taxi but we immediately saw this place and decided to give it a try since we were the only customers. My friend and I started off with the chicken tortilla soup which was very tasty but not very hot temperature wise. I ordered the fish tacos which I thought were excellent and tasty! Essentially it is six tacos because they give you double the corn tortillas with lots of white fried fish that was very fresh. The plate came with guacamole and the hottest salsa ever, which I loved! My friend ordered the chicken enchiladas suizas which he did not care for. They had a special on margaritas 2 for 10.00 USD (if you ordered one you paid regular price of 7 bucks and some change). As for service, our server was excellent and very friendly. Restaurant was clean and inviting + patio seating is available. All prices are in pesos; however, just as pricey as in the US. Upon after having lunch we walked around the touristy area and found several different restaurants which seemed to have slightly better pricing than what we paid (74.00 USD for 2 soups, 2 entrees, and 3 margaritas). It took us a few minutes to find this place, but once we did...WOW! (It's on the second floor of a building right across from the entrance to the cruise ship tender dock.) We sat at the bar, and both bartenders were amazing...very friendly, great service. The view of the marina is also amazing. We had some margaritas (YUM), and then I had the Mexican Sandwich for my meal (TRIPLE YUM!!!), while my partner had the tortilla soup (QUADRUPLE YUM!!!!) and a salad (I only tasted the ginger dressing, and that was BOMB!). We thought that being so close to the dock for the carnival cruise, it would be much more of a touristy location and expensive, but we were happy to find it was a great price, and the service is excellent! Our second day in Cabo. Friends we met on the cruise recommended this place. We arrived about 9:30 am after walking around the pier area. It's in the upstairs of the building with a view of the pier...small, clean, comfortable, and very friendly. The margaritas were delicious. The service was excellent. This would have been a 5-star review is they charged my credit card in pesos instead of dollars. This move cost me about $5 more. Great find for authentic food on the marina for half of what you'd pay at other restaurants. We stayed at the Terrasol Resort and stumbled upon this spot for breakfast. Wizzies offers great views of the marina, fast and friendly service, and delicious food. We ordered the Puntas Mexicanos (beef tips) and Tortilla de Huevos a la Poblano. The egg dish was amazing and I licked every last bit of the avocado sauce clean. For $25 we got a solid breakfast meal 2 green juice smoothies. Can't beat this spot! read more

My daughter and I were recently in Cabo and craving some lunch on our way back to the cruise ship. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I was surprised when Wizzie's came up as an option on Yelp because it is right (and I do mean RIGHT) across from where the cruise ship tenders dock. Usually this means pricey (hey, ya gotta pay for convenience) but I was pleasantly surprised to find this wasn't the case. Yay Wizzie's! This little spot is PERFECT for a final "adios" to Cabo before returning to the cruise ship. It's perched on the second floor, with views over the bay and marina. We sat on the outside deck, which was the perfect place to people watch while enjoying a margarita and some seriously amazing guacamole. I also ordered the fish tacos which were delicious - the fish was super fresh and featured a light batter and tasty toppings. There were so many I couldn't even finish them. The guacamole was absolutely fantastic. There is just nothing like authentic guac made with perfectly ripened avocados! Our entire lunch (including drinks) came out to well under $30US including gratuity - a steal of a deal in touristy Cabo. The service was super friendly, too! read more

I had oatmeal before, so decided to share a plate of fruits and pancakes with my friends. We saw green juice, so we wanted that. My friend wanted ginger in her green juice and they were able to make it for her. When the food came out, we were pleasantly surprised by the portion. Everything was really good, even our friends' other dishes like the breakfast burrito, chilequile, oatmeal. This place accepted pesos and US dollars, which was great. Located upstairs near the Cabo Ship Terminal exit. Wizzies has air conditioning, good food and a Marina / Ship port view. Don't expect inexpensive prices but I believe that the food quality m, view and air conditioning is all worth it. The entrance is easy to miss, so they have a sign downstairs inviting you to the door leading to the stairs and elevator going up the second floor. For us, we had some time to kill before we had to get back to our Cruise ship and there was no better way to end our long wonderfully hot day in Cabo than to find a place with A/C, food and drinks, a view of the Marina / Cruise terminal and a short walk to get back to the tender boats. My wife and I split a plate of fajitas and ordered drinks at reasonable prices before we headed back to the ship. The service was very pleasant they seemed used to serving people from the cruises because our check came right about when we had 15-20 minutes before our deadline to get back to the last few tenders. This place was certainly a good way to wind down our day. read more
