My husband and I had dinner at this location yesterday evening! It was already pretty busy around 5:15pm, but we were able to be seated immediately in a booth. We loved how this location was styled/themed more than our usual location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As soon as we sat down, we were given chips and salsa and our waitress Marzia arrived to take our drink orders. Since I'm pregnant, I can't get my margaritas just yet, so we stuck with waters. We also put in an order of small queso with jalapeños on the side and a small guacamole. Apologies that I didn't snap pics of these! Both came quickly! Our queso arrived first, and then soon after, our waitress prepared our guac tableside. The queso was tasty as always, and the guacamole honestly blew us away with how perfect it was! So flavorful, chunky, and delicious. We loved everything so much, we pounded it and even finished a second basket of chips before our food arrived--which is really saying something because... By 5:35pm, which is just 20 minutes after we initially sat down, our food arrived! Marzia was attentive and kind our entire time here and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed his usual shrimp bowl, along with an added egg on top and a side of plantains. I loved my combo #5 which was two enchiladas with rice and beans. The rice and refried beans were so warm and comforting. My chosen enchiladas--one cheese, and one steak--completely satisfied my craving/the reason we stopped in! So yummy! I don't normally get steak with my enchiladas, but my husband, who hasn't eaten steak in 12+ years, was feeling adventurous and said that if I got it, he'd love to try it. This was momentous, so of course I said yes, as it opens up more options for him/us rather than just doing seafood or vegetarian all the time. I eat everything, so since he's recently ventured into trying chicken again which is in practically everything, I was excited. Now, reintroducing beef to him was another little win for me. The verdict? He said it was "really [insert cuss word I shouldn't type here] good!" He even had a second bite! We are looking forward to returning for more. Absolutely loving this La Parrilla location, it's hands down my favorite! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The service is outstanding every time, and Lucy truly stands out with her warm, welcoming energy. You can tell the entire team works together seamlessly and with genuine care. Terrible Customer Service from Manager Yoslin I had a very disappointing experience with the manager, Yoslin. She was extremely rude and unprofessional when I tried to address a simple concern. Instead of listening or offering any help, she spoke to me with an attitude and made me feel like I was bothering her. As a manager, she should be setting an example for good customer service, not the opposite. I honestly expected much better treatment -- especially from someone in a leadership position. I won't be returning if this is how management treats customers. They are usually pretty busy at lunch, but I have gotten in both times without a wait. The wait staff is attentive and chips are delivered within moments of being seated. My main lunch course is very quick to come out after ordering as well. The chips are deliciously crisp and the salsa is about average. Not too spicy if you are looking for that. I got the lunch Grilled Chicken Salad and it was great. I got mine served in the large, crispy flour tortilla shell, but you can also get it served in a bowl. I went with the Smoked Chipotle Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. The chicken and dressing are the best parts of the meal. There is no skimping on the chicken, which is very juicy and tender. We finally decided to grab a table with some friends and we were pleasantly surprised with the incredibly quick service, drinks and food alike. Everything I've had on the menu is amazing, especially the enchiladas with verde sauce but seriously, you can't go wrong with anything. I love how they're willing to adjust the ingredients to avoid things I can't have, and they're super nice and understanding about it. The Service on the other hand needs some major work, almost every time we get seated we wait 10-15 minutes before we eventually stop someone to ask when we will be served and get our chips and salsa. I'm not sure if the host is not alerting the server to being sat or if the servers just aren't paying any attention but it has caused us to question coming back again. He got pulled away mid-interaction for assumedly a manager telling home the kitchen was closed. So in 30 seconds I'd interacted with three of the staff and the manager willingly compromised my experience, uncaring that she'd not properly informed her staff. Poor service. Visited 7/23 just after opening. Maybe 3-4 customers already. Was seated, multiple staff talking to each other, could tell they saw me, but none wound come to serve me. Waited a little longer,finally someone brought over chips. Waited another 5 mins, a waiter come over asked what I wanted to drink and take my order. It was 5-10 mins later when a waitress brought my drink. A short time later my food came out, noticed something missing, told him, again another 5 mins before I get the rest of my order. By now I've been there over 40 mins and it's slow. Ate my meal, not once did the waitress come back and ask if I needed anything. Had to sit a while waiting on her to walk by so I could get my check. Saw the chef outside the next morning, he remembered me as he's who had to seat me the day before. Asked him what was up the day before. He said he didn't know but other customers had a similar experience, and would talk to the mgr about what happened. Decided ti give them only try today 7/30. Was seated right away. Again sat there waiting. Saw someone get seated near me, within minutes chips were brought to them. Saw a table get seated outside, chips and a server right away. Meanwhile I'm still waiting. Finally my server came over, by then I'd been there atleast 10 mins, watched others come after me getting service quickly, and was angry because the same thing was happening as the week before. We came to our favorite La Parrilla yesterday (Saturday) and Monica was once again our waitress. She was simply AMAZING, her service it's always impeccable. I ordered my Burrito Cubano and as usual was super delicious, my partner had his Burrito con god o & was delish. We also ordered the La Parrilla Dip and it was filled with lots of delicious flavors. We had our Guava margaritas and tho they were good, they didn't taste as they usually do. We spoke with the super nice manager Anna to provide her feedback about Monica's service and she made feel very welcomed and appreciated. The food here is unfortunately quite bland. We all had to flavor up our guacamole which was pretty small for a "large" with salt and lime. I had the shrimp tacos which felt boiled instead of grilled and which were smothered in tons of sauce. The waitress of overworked but did her best making the best of things. I love any bar that has Dos Equis Amber draft. This is now a regular stop on my walkabouts. The staff is great. They hustle, usually drop a bowl of chips in from by of me and a cold Amber in the first minute. I have like everything I have tried. Your standard Tex-Mex but up a notch. read more

So last night we were craving Mexican food, so naturally we thought of La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant. Our server was Isabel she was everything you expect from excellent customer service, very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful, would request to be sat in here area next time. The food was, as also hot and delicious, props to the chefs ! The ambiance was a bit of a difference for us since we normally tend to visit during lunch or early evenings, however last night was a little bit busier than we usually experience, however our service DID NOT suffer, it was still great service and de food, don't expect any less from our favorite place to have Mexican food. read more

A group of 15 of us came in after work at 4:30pm to celebrate a coworkers birthday and created absolute chaos. Our server was SO attentive and the entire restaurant was so kind and helpful. First time here and the food and drinks were amazing! We didn't wait long at all to get seated, get drinks, food or refills on water. Enjoyed my dinner here. This is a newer location of the chain. The interior is nice. There's sitting at the bar, inside, or patio. Maria was my waitress and she was excellent. I enjoyed the guacamole made at the table side and the guava margarita was pretty good. For my entree, I tried the fajita rice bowl with shrimp and a grilled shrimp taco ala carte. Both were good, but very generous with the queso for the bowl and cheese for the taco. I would ask for the cheese on the side next time! Definitely would come to this location again for Mexican.
