    Honey Butter Benedict

The flying biscuit is one of my favorite go to spots when I come to Atlanta. The grits are the best thing to add or get on the side. The portions are not too much and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy the friendly service as it never changes. I tried the honey butter Benedict's and the chicken was juicy. I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

My child got the Jupiter pancakes with strawberries and blueberries, and as the description said, they were light and fluffy and the fruit added a sweet bit of freshness. 10/10 Another in my party of 3 ordered the Hangover Hash. It included potatoes, chorizo, chicken, 2 over medium eggs and black bean salsa. A hearty meal, large enough to share. I kept it simple and had the grits and avocado toast. The star of the meal being the flight of mimosa's. Great considering this is kit the menu focus. The service was good. Our glasses never went empty and the check ins to clear the table of finished plates was very nice. The artwork and ambiance was so cool. As my kiddo said " this place has the coolest vibe". We will return.

Beautiful ambiance. Me and my family came early (around 9 am) so it wasn't crowded or loud. We got to really take in the place, which had a very chill and cozy atmosphere. Our server was nice and attentive. The food was amazing!! We will definitely be going back!!

So I had a good experience overall. The service was good, the food was solid, could have been a little bit quicker with the The food being brought out, but not a big deal. It wasn't the end of the world. Overall I would definitely still go back this location. There's free parking because it's located inside of a strip mall. So you don't have to worry about that, we know how Atlanta parking situations can be lol. You come in and the hole inside of the restaurant is decorated with some really psychedelic things. But they fit very well with the theme which is the flying biscuit. Jasmine was the waitress and took care of the table. She doesn't necessarily eat meat, but she came with some good recommendations giving what other Patriots had said. She tried to give her suggestions and gave full explanation of those suggestions so I thought that was really good of her to break a bunch of things down before the decision was made on what to order. I got the grits bowl with chicken sausage, bacon, cheese, and eggs. I got a side of moon dusted potatoes. I wasn't sure what the potatoes were dusted with but they were typical home style potatoes. I got some sour cream on decide with them, but overall good. The grits bowl, had grits and two slices of cheese and the eggs were put on the side so I just dump the eggs on top of the sausage and the bacon. It was good, it was feeling but not overly feeling. I went during lunch time so I wouldn't want to be feeling sluggish after I ate a lot so this was a really nice portion size. The Grinch came with a biscuit, and some type of mixed berry jam or jelly. Which was actually really good. The Misty came with a little glisten on it because they had just finished buttering it, everything was hot and good. If you need a good quick breakfast from a nice chain, this is a good option for you. There are plenty of them!

Large menu with lots of options. Quality of food is standard "chain" standard. Loved the atmosphere inside, which was modern and comfortable. The BISCUIT EGGS AND GRAVY was good. Great biscuit which is mandatory given their name. Sausage gravy was also good, but not spectacular. I ordered a side of the MOON DUST POTATOES which are also highly rated. This was the best part of my meal. The moon dust seasoning was delicious, not overly strong, with perfect level of salt (no need to salt the potatoes like normal) The GRITS are highly rated however I did not find them to my liking. They are cheese grits and the cheese tastes like white American cheese, not my preference (not sure what cheese they actually use). It's not a bad place for breakfast food. I just wasn't "wow'd".

Great brunch and great service! I loved theater you can get pancake or waffle with you entree. It's perfect for when you want both sweet and savory for breakfast! Pancake tacos were loaded and surprisingly good. Service was 10/10 also

Clockwise: The High Flyer , hot chicken and waffle, Chorizo Hash ; all were okay
    Jen S.

Got the hot chicken and waffles. It was okay but the chicken was stringy and chewy, but the gravy was nice. The coffee was not great. My friends got the chorizo hash which they said a little spicier than anticipated and the high flyer. Both were okay. This is a fine brunch spot to go to but I don't think it'll blow you away. Maybe I just didn't try the right things. Service was alright. Ambiance is great, the colorful tables were fun. It closes by 2 or 3 depending on the day fyi.

First, the service was incredibly stellar!! By far, some of the best I have ever gotten. Thoughtful, genuine and just really good at their job! Second, food was very good. Chicken and waffles, the GRITS.... I don't like grits and I couldn't stop eating them, pancakes were solid, the biscuits and the eggs were also delicious. The only minor criticism was the sausage gravy... it lacked a little flavor. Overall, solid breakfast place and would return!!

Recently got to try their August specials - The sausage dog and fireworks pancakes. Oh boy, the pancakes were so good Soft, fluffy smothered well with raspberry sauce, blueberries and bananas. The sausage dog had chicken chorizo and susage drizzled with queso, oh so good. I also loved their new on the menu dish - Hot Honey butter chicken & waffle, damn it was so yummy. The little hotness of the chilli, fried chicken and crunchy waffle. Just so good. Love their food. The Ambiance is the standard flying biscuit cafe, cute casual bar and sit down with colorful walls. Service was excellent, the server was really helpful in recommending dishes. Parking is free in the complex.

Came here for some good eats on a Saturday - late morning - and was met with a 20 min wait. Not bad in my opinion, so we added our name to the list. We were seated and greeted by our super spunky and friendly server Mani. We ordered orange juice, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cheese grits, bacon, and of course a biscuit! The food came out pretty quickly, so we immediately dug in. OUTSTANDING!!! The cheese grits were seasoned to perfection, pancakes were light and fluffy and the biscuit was PERFECT! So buttery and yummy! We woofed down our food, thanked Mani for amazing service and were on our merry way! Definitely a go to while in the Atlanta area!

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and was excited to try! When we arrived, we parked in the plaza lot. We walked in and were greeted and sat right away. Kelly was our server, and she was super nice. I ordered the mimosa flight along with the mini shrimp and grits. My boyfriend got the steak and eggs. The mimosas were very good, and so were the shrimp and grits. The only complaint I have is that the grits got watery as I ate. My boyfriend enjoyed his food also. All in all we had a good experience.

The High Flyer (but with 1 bacon, 1 chicken sausage)

Came during brunch on a Thursday. Pretty busy but no wait time. All servers were busy, but someone did greet us and told us that they'd be with us shortly. Got seated pretty quickly after that. Great great service! We loved our server. I got the High Flyer & they even let me get 1 slice of bacon + 1 chicken sausage patty (instead of having 2 sausage patties). Cheese eggs weren't overcooked. Cheese grits were great! No complaints. Fair price for such a large meal. Not as fancy as an Egg Harbor Cafe, but it's great for what it is. I would come back.

My breakfast outing was a double pleasure. I was with my Daughter & our engagement with Jermica who served as the Hostess, Bartender & Server who brought our table positive vibes. This is my first time at this location yet always enjoy the vibe, decor & playlist throughout the various locations - this location's overhead music had all the customers swaying & swinging while we ate. One of the best price points for an All Day Breakfast joint with their portions & the $7 Mimosas with 6 different variations is a plus. I got excited about the Beyond Vegan Breakfast Sausage - & still waiting on the arrival of Just Egg - the Vegan Egg Replacement. Until then, here's to the delicious & savory Tofu Scramble. Will return to try their new Vegan Spicy Collard Greens.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.
