    Chips and salsa

Mexico lindo is a fine addition to Sandy Springs, replacing a TJs at the same location. Food is good and plentiful. Went for lunch and had the chicken fajitas. Very tasty but no guacamole for them. :( . Great chips and salsa. Lunch specials are limited here. See pics. Service was prompt and efficient on a slow Monday about 11:45am. Ambiance has nice wood interior and much spiffier than the last place. Indoor and outdoor dining options. Lots of free parking next to a QT which is more visible from Roswell road.

I really enjoyed the beautiful decor ! Food was great ! And drinks as well! We came here to celebrate a birthday and we all had a good time ! Definitely will be back!

Food was good. But please make sure the waitress understands what your ordered. Because she literally did not follow simple instructions and never took ownership of her mistakes I'm confused not returning her.

We tried the La Piñata and the Smokey Old Fashioned, which arrived in a dramatic smoke dome--such a fun presentation. For our first bites, we ordered the Tostadas: handmade corn tostadas served with both red and green avocado sauces. They were fresh, vibrant, and a perfect start to the meal. Our main courses were equally impressive. The Short Rib with Mole Amarillo came with pickled habanero onions, rice, and plantains--rich, tender, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the Arrachera, an outside skirt steak served with sautéed onions, chimichurri, rustic potatoes, and a bouquet salad. Every dish was plated beautifully and tasted exceptional. Our server, Dalia, made the experience even better. She was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive--always appearing at just the right moment, whether to refill our water or guide us through the menu. Overall, it was another amazing visit. We go there often and have never been disappointed.

This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

The ambiance is fun and casual. We loved how this location was styled/themed more than our usual location. As soon as we sat down, we were given chips and salsa and our waitress Marzia arrived to take our drink orders. Since I'm pregnant, I can't get my margaritas just yet, so we stuck with waters. We also put in an order of small queso with jalapeños on the side and a small guacamole. Apologies that I didn't snap pics of these! Both came quickly! Our queso arrived first, and then soon after, our waitress prepared our guac tableside. The queso was tasty as always, and the guacamole honestly blew us away with how perfect it was! So flavorful, chunky, and delicious. We loved everything so much, we pounded it and even finished a second basket of chips before our food arrived--which is really saying something because... By 5:35pm, which is just 20 minutes after we initially sat down, our food arrived! Marzia was attentive and kind our entire time here and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed his usual shrimp bowl, along with an added egg on top and a side of plantains. I loved my combo #5 which was two enchiladas with rice and beans. The rice and refried beans were so warm and comforting. My chosen enchiladas--one cheese, and one steak--completely satisfied my craving/the reason we stopped in! So yummy! I don't normally get steak with my enchiladas, but my husband, who hasn't eaten steak in 12+ years, was feeling adventurous and said that if I got it, he'd love to try it. This was momentous, so of course I said yes, as it opens up more options for him/us rather than just doing seafood or vegetarian all the time. I eat everything, so since he's recently ventured into trying chicken again which is in practically everything, I was excited. Now, reintroducing beef to him was another little win for me. The verdict? He said it was "really [insert cuss word I shouldn't type here] good!" He even had a second bite! We are looking forward to returning for more. This plaza is so cute and nice.

We sat outside on a cool day and they had heaters going. Our server was super nice for our first time and brought fresh salsa and chips. I ordered a trio of tacos so I could try a few, the tacos were phenomenal. The meat was seasoned well and plentiful in the taco. I wanted to like the chimichurri taco more, but like some others have mentioned the meat was a bit big when trying to get a bite. We needed to leave to get to the venue and once mentioning our time crunch the server pointed us in the best direction and let us out the back door. This is our third time and it's quickly becoming our favorite. We've already told a ton of our friends about this place!! The waiter Alex was nice and did apologize that the consome came out first; it did surprise us haha I have a gripe though; we were going to order a dessert but he told us that my birthday tres leches dessert would be on the house. When we got home, realized he charged us for it. A real shame. We tipped extra/24% because of the free dessert. We learned our lesson for being too trusting. 3/5 Update: Ariadna the assistant manager contacted me and remedied the situation by comping the dessert and appetizer. I appreciate her timeliness and her being succinct. Switched to 5/5

This spot is on Roswell road and hash Street parking so just keep that in mind. It's in a shopping plaza so there's plenty of parking everywhere for the most part. So the thing that is the allure about this spot is probably the setup. It's huge and spacious and has a lot of outside seating so if you want to do something on a nice day this is a good spot to go to. They actually have a main patio and a smaller patio so you really can't go wrong if you want to go outdoors. Fajita style nachos - The nachos are okay. Definitely not something that I would look to keep coming back for. The cheese was so soaked that the bottom of it that had the chips on there. That layer was pretty soggy. But the chicken was good. So that's something. Fries - The fries were great and had a perfect crisp to them. No complaints. Chips and salsa - nothing to write home about. Salsa was okay overall. Chips seemed decently fresh. Poblano pepper - The pepper was very forgettable. It was overly soggy and I almost can tell what it was when it was dropped off in front of me. Under all that there was a layer of cheese and pepper but I would definitely not get it again. Overall, this was an okay experience, but there's so many other places that are much better and have better presentation. If you want a quick fix with a nice view, this will be your spot to consider checking out, but just know that you can probably find other places that would hit in a couple more different apartments than this one.
