    Mexican Coke and Tasty Food

Not fancy but good food that hits the spot in a town that doesn't have a lot of options.

    Pastor burrito

WOW! We were driving through and decided to try this place out. My pastor burrito was delicious. A tad greasy but totally worth it. My sister got two carne asada tacos that were good but her chorizo taco was impeccable. The service was quick. It is located in a gas station so the ambiance is nothing special, however it is clean.

2 asada taco, 1 chorizo taco

We were driving through on our way to Denver and we got so lucky that this place was inside the gas station we stopped at by chance. It was around 11:30am and the line was not too long and they had many employees working. I got two carne asada tacos and one chorizo taco. Both were delicious but the chorizo stole the show. The flavors were on point. The Chorizo was not spicy at all. I would highly recommend stopping at this place.

    Amazing people and made fresh!!

We found this place as we had stoped to put gas to continue our road trip. Since we are pumping gas we can smell the chorizo cooking... and we were sure it was not McDonald's lol So we decided to go into the gas station and see what was cooking!! Well let me tell you there are three people in the kitchen! With big mom pop pots full of Birria and tamales and Menudo! Now if you know, you know! They told my husband they make everything there.... so guess what he got hungry while talking to the young lady at the register Yuliana. Bueno a comer! He order a Mix Burrito that includes Bacon, egg, sausage, ham, choice of red or green salsa and hash-brown oh and cheese. My husband took a bite and he is in love! We saw them cook everything in front of us and they asked if he wanted anything else to be added. I order two chicken tamales de salsa verde. So the point is guys, when you smell something good cooking, go and check it out! We were so pleased of their work and kindness that I looked them up on Yelp and guess what!? NO YELP ACCOUNT!!!! I showed them how to get in here and enter their info and add more things to it! I AM SO SERIOUS OF YOU LIVE OR DRIVING BY PLEASE COME AND CHECK THEM OUT!!!!!!!! THIS WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU AT ALL!! Muy Rico, buen sabor, fresca comida y buenas especiales!!! Se los recomiendo al 100!!!

Pozole con una agua de piña.

Fabulous place to eat some pozole. Family owned which made this place so much more appealing. RAZA It's in a gas station but for the quality of the food it should have its own self standing restaurant.

    Al Pastor Burrito

Ordered the Al Pastor burrito. It was pretty good! However there was a lot of rice and bean filling and the al pastor was ground? A bit weird, but still good nonetheless. The rice and beans were full of flavor, I just wish there was a bit less to allow the al pastor to be tasted. Definitely try it with the red sauce, it's spicy but not that spicy. Overall, I would eat here again!

Clean, fresh, inexpensive with a great salsa bar and juice/horchata selection. All you can ask for when passing through for a quick pitstop.

I always drive up and order either a Breakfast or Regular Burrito. They are HUGE! And they will add or delete the ingredients I want!

Wow excellent food, and for a gringo like me what made it even better because there was no cilantro in my Chili Verde plate.

    Xalisco - Birthday cake

A birthday surprise I'll never forget!…read more This restaurant came highly recommended by a former employee, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, everything impressed us. I tried a mezcal cocktail for the first time, the blueberry mezcal, and it was incredibly unique, smoky, slightly sweet, and just overall delicious. For food, we ordered the corn, poblano tamales, and the chorizo steak burrito. Every bite was packed with flavor. Portions were generous, so much so that we ended up taking leftovers home (always a good sign!). But the true highlight of the evening? The birthday celebration. Our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything, and I casually mentioned a birthday at the end of the month. She smiled and said, "Leave the rest to me." I had no idea what was coming... Suddenly, the entire bar lit up? iterally. Flames shot up like a volcano erupting, the staff came out with fire, bubbles, and this incredible energy. It felt like a full-on performance. Then came a rich chocolate cake soaked in liqueur that was just as dramatic as it was delicious. It wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. If you're looking for amazing food, creative drinks, and unforgettable celebrations, this place delivers on all of it. We'll definately be back.

For a second I wondered if they were closed, but someone eventually came out and seated me. That initial vibe had me a bit concerned, but I stuck it out. I started with the chips, corn, and guacamole, which was decent, nothing mind-blowing but fresh enough and got the job done. The Cadillac Margarita ($20) was a disappointment though. It was basically a glass of ice with way too much lime juice dominating everything; I could barely taste the tequila. The Michelada was better, solid and refreshing, and the service was about the same: friendly and attentive enough once they got going, but nothing standout. But holy smokes, that asada stuffed burrito saved the whole meal. The asada was ridiculously tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Juicy, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth beef wrapped in a solid burrito. That one item alone made me glad I came. Overall, the place has some hits and misses. If the asada is what you're after, it's worth it. Just maybe skip the Cadillac marg and don't expect a lively atmosphere on a slow night. I'd go back for the burrito.

I didn't think I would like the green one but it was my favorite. Chips were warm and just the right amount of salt. I always over order so I can have leftovers for lunch. I had a 3 item combo with a cheese enchilada no onion, ground beef taco, and a relleno. I always have to try a chile relleno when I go to a new state. I had to ask how they made it cause some places make it different than what I am used to. There was an option in the menu that read $2.99 for an authentic relleno. I had to ask. The server explained that what comes with the plate is like an omelette style with the chile cut up (that's what I understood). I was thinking, "Really! I have to pay $3 extra to get a traditional style item. That should be offered automatically if you are serving traditional food." I paid the extra cause I wasn't going to have the 'omelette' style. The taco was ok. The ground beef wasn't hitting me right but I ate it. The rice was good. The beans started out ok but then started to taste funny. I stopped eating them. The relleno started out really good. Nice flavor, easy to cut, lots of cheese. About a 1/3 way through I couldn't cut the chile with my fork and the flavor started to change. I couldn't eat anymore. I took the enchilada and rice with me and left the rest.
