Great spot for karaoke and drinks. This a spot for the locals for sure. Went on a Sunday expecting it to be slow but the locals fill it up to enjoy some cheap drinks with karaoke. We celebrated a birthday and the crew was very accommodating. They allowed us to bring in a cake, reserved a large table in the middle of karaoke area, and even sang a birthday song for us. Very good customer service! The most surprising element was that the food was actually good! We had the molcajete cielo tierra y mar and it was great! If I could give this place a zero I would. I went for karaoke today Friday and the Kareoke DJ knew me and my sister were waiting for such a long time to sing and he kept saying we were next it was 12:30am and he decided to just keep playing music for people to dance. DJ guy is not fair at all other people kept singing more than once. Honestly the DJ is the one that makes this place suck. I honestly felt I was begging him. Okay so we've been here several times. Had a couple of great experiences and one so so but here's goes my review for lunch/dinner and the night bar/karaoke . Service- during lunch and dinner service is great everything comes out fast and they are extremely attentive. Couldn't ask for more attentive servers. Ordering drinks on Saturday night does take a bit longer but nothing crazy Food- I've had the Pozole which was just okay nothing grand broth was kind of bland. Also had garlic shrimp and coctel de camarón and they were great . So stick to the sea food . Also have had the lobster and it's great. Carne asada plate is not cheap pieces of meat like other place but a good size cut of ranchera meat! Awesome plus free chips and salsa Drinks- now here it gets good best tamarindo margaritas ever loved them! And every drink we ordered was on point. They are more of old school and not a hip trendy bar with new drinks. They have awesome beer specials too so this is the place to come if you want a good margarita or nice old beer. Karaoke- it's lame the guy in charge only lets his friends sing and the speakers are crappy. There used to be another guy that was so much better but oh well. The place is 99.9% Latin with 99.9% Latin music so be ready for corridos , norteñas and pop Latin music . Felt like a house party crappy speakers clicks of regulars . Came here to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends.. they sat us in the back where they have karaoke which was perfect until around 9:25pm our server comes up to me and tells me we can't have kids in that area after 10pm but nothing was said when we first sat mind you we had a party of 20... we had people still ordering food and drinks!! Why wouldn't they tell us this before sitting us!! Around 10:45pm out waitress comes up to me very rudely and starts telling me that she told us we couldn't split the bill and that if there was any funds missing she was going to give me the remaining Balance and I was responsible for paying!! some people from our party were leaving early due to work the next day so they wanted to close their tab before leaving! She had no right to come up to me like that specially because I was the birthday girl... I wasn't the one paying for the dinner lol she also stopped giving us water and refills on sodas I constantly had to go up to her multiple times some people in my party even tipped more after added gratuity to our check. I paid the bill at the end and never got my change back and I couldn't even ask for it because she disappeared and never came back out...they also promote false " happy hour" but we were charged full price For our modelo buckets. After being a regular at this place for many years, I'm never coming back again. I come to watch a good Dodger game and enjoy their delicious margaritas, hands down. But after tonight's discrepancy favoring one sport over the other I'm going somewhere else where they treat the customer right. For the Lakers games, yes, all screens but one are active with sound. i personally wouldn't recommend this place at all. service is not even a 2/5 to say. my party got there around 9:30 and were seated in the back where the karaoke is. take note in our party we had two kids. our server told us that after 10 kids weren't allowed in this area, yet she took our order and still took over 35 minutes to bring our food. the rice was cold and hard not good at all. at 11 she told us the kids weren't allowed to be there anymore since 10. take note our food didn't come till after 10 and if that was the issue we could've easily been moved. online it says kids aren't allowed there past 11, we mentioned this to her and unfortunately she was very unprofessional and had slight attitude. please either educate your server on the information posted on the internet or change it. read more

I like this restaurant it's more a family place if you have kids it's a great choice it's a big place the tables are big. It's not over crowded. The food is good for the price it adds up. Looking for a local Mexican Seafood Restaurant on a Friday night 11/19/2021 and found this place just a couple minutes from our house. We arrive around 9pm half the place is music and Karaoke the other half is booth seating Restaurant. There are about 12 booths and only 6 are occupied, we order drinks for four people and waitress comes back in about 10 minutes to take our order. We place our order and it took 50 minutes for us to get the food to the table and the waitress never came back to check on our table in this time span. We looked at our food orders and the grilled chicken and grilled beef looked very dry on all the plates and this was a automatic turn off. We then touch the plates and food to check the temperature and they were all COLD to the touch and we do not even taste any of the food. We call the waitress back to the table and tell her that we do not want the food orders due to the fact they were all COLD. She ask if we want to cancel the order? At this point I would not trust anything coming back from the kitchen and just ask for the check to pay for our drinks. We had a waiter come to the table along with the waitress and expected a apology of some sort and they were not worried or affected by our COLD food order. Went to this restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday night to celebrate my dads birthday. Pleasantly surprised at how large it was inside. They were able to accomodate our large group with the long tables. (We didn't have reservations and there were 21 of us). The service was fast and the staff were friendly and very attentive. I ordered the Chicken Flautas which were pretty average in taste but it came with fresh guacamole and with their free chips n salsa, I was a happy camper. I also ordered a Pomegranate Margarita and sampled my daughter in law's Strawberry Margarita, both were amazing! They had Karaoke with a great sound system. My boyfriend loves UFC fights and we're always looking for a good spot to catch pay per views. We used to go to buffalo wild wings or Hooters, which was a nightmare on fight nights. Those places are always so packed, we'd usually end up standing to watch since we didn't want to get there hours before the main card. La Perla Del Mar is just around the corner from my house, and we saw their advertisement for UFC fights, so we tried them out when we were in a pinch for time, and didn't feel like braving the crowds at the bigger restaurants. So glad we did!! We came during the main card and were immediately seated without a reservation or anything. We had a great dinner with drinks, and an even better view of the fight. Comfy, indoors, a fun (but not obnoxious) crowd, no cover charge or drink minimum, and a huge private parking lot. Plus its walking distance from my house?? Yeah, we'll be back! read more

Visited this place with a friend for the Andy Ruiz fight upon arrival we weren't greated or seated we just took it upon ourselves and sat at a table. Eventually our drink order was taken we consumed a tower of beer and some random drinks and food. As soon as the fight was over our bill was brought to us and thats where I noticed they charged me 2 covers of $10 for the fight. How do you force a cover charge on a customer without prior notice, shouldn't the fight be part of your tactic to draw people into your restaurant to consume alcohol and food. In my opinion as in establishment this should be part of your overhead. I could have simply payed the $20 DAZN was charging to stream the fight and watched it at my place. read more

It's nothing fancy. The place is mostly known for their karaoke ! And I have to tell you... people step up their game!! Every person I heard sing had a voice.. this isn't your typical "get very drunk people up here to sing" type of place. Be ready to carry a tune if you want to get up there. The clientele: you might as well be in TJ! I can say that because my family is from there, I'm Mexican and I enjoy being around my family!! So this place feels warm and familiar. Mexicans Mexicans Mexicans everywhere lol I really don't think the workers even speak English to you Ok ok ok so outside of the cumbias playing in the background.. you want to hear the best part about this place?? The yard long beers!!! It's not what you think!!! It's not a typical yard long glass. It's a cylinder looking thing that has a spout at the end for easy dispensing. It sits on a stand and can be filled with dozens of your favorite beers on draft! And it's forty bucks!!! It's pretty amazing!! So if you are ever in the mood to drink some beers with cumbias and hear Spanish karaoke with a random group of Mexicans... I would totally recommend this place!!! Came to celebrate my dads's 50th birthday here, i made reservations a week before. Got there turns out theres a big fight on tv that night and they're charging people at the door but i wasnt notified. staff was really nice and the manager (i think) quickly said she wouldn't charge us to go inside. waited till the fight was over (less than 10 min) and we were able to karaoke and dance a little too! very fun and my dad had a blast! read more
