The staff was welcoming and attentive and the food was great! We ordered the grilled calamari with arugula salad and mussels and the whole branzino which is a signature dish of theirs made with grape tomatoes, potatoes, onions and olives. Wonderful! One of the best seafood places I have ever been to. Located on the upscale 5th Avenue the restaurant boasts a lovely terrace with European charm and nice interior design. Simple yet elegant reminds me of the old world charm. The menu (just as the name - loosely translate to Fisheries)- is mostly fish and seafood really really good. We tried Frito Misto del Pesce - lightly fried shrimp, scallops and sardines. Outstanding. The grill calamari was super tender and tasty. Tuna tartar with avocado it was also very good . The main attraction was the whole Branzino. Oven roasted, file table side, it was incredibly tender and moist. We were a group of 7. Everyone enjoyed the meals. We shared a bunch of deserts. I really liked the cannolis but all the others were tasty. Wine selection was good. We picked 2 nice bottles of Amarone.
